Also, for tags, I recommend some of the following: "奉"-album, "Diao ye zong"-romanized circle, "凋叶棕"-circle, "Night" for imperishable night, "th8", "月見草" kanji for evening primrose, "竹取飛翔" kanji for flight of the bamboo cutter (might as well add those too lol), "東方永夜抄" japanese title for imperishable night, "蓬莱山" and "輝夜" which are part of kaguya's name

  4. 01:37:804 (4,5) - prefer a circle here. the intensity doesn't pick up until 01:38:120 -
  5. 01:59:988 (2) - either unstack or the entire triplet on (1)
  6. 02:40:172 to 02:50:278 - what instrument are you following in this section? I think it would be nice if you continue to follow the violin and use similar rhythms to the beginning of the song
  7. 04:03:383 (6) - i prefer moving this to [288, 88] to maintain the back and forth flow that's going on
  8. 04:59:120 - I'm not familiar with how storyboarding works, but I think it would be cool if you slowly zoomed into the BG during the entire break time and then go back to the original size at 05:19:330 along with the flash

  1. 00:43:646 (9) - Would you like to mute this slider end? Because the point of an extended slider is replicate a held vocal or instrument, so the hitsound at the end should be muted as there is no drum kick or snare there, unless there actually is but i dont hear it

  3. 00:56:593 (1,2) - You could fix this blanket by moving the center white anchor up one pixel, lel im a blanket freak ;-;
  4. 01:02:751 (3,3,4) - This overlap is ugly, so consider moving the entire stream over to the right more!
  5. 01:07:804 (4,7) - Really noticable blanket fix here
  6. 01:14:909 (4,4) - Bad overlap from the head and tail ends of these sliders! so move 01:16:015 (4) - to 304, 204
  7. 01:23:278 (1,2,3,4) - This pattern overlaps with the previous sliders, so I suggest moving this pattern to 132, 266 by just selecting the 4 notes and moving it there.

Having two uninherited or two inherited sections on top of each other will cause problems within the beatmap.

  • Offset "1010" recommended

    AR 9,4 is a bit high for 190 bpm, i strongly suggest to reduce it to 9,2 or lower.
    OD 7,5 or 8.
    HP can however, be increased a bit, like 6,5 or 7.

    00:41:120 (5,6,1) - With such low sv, i'm not sure theses stream jumps are a good idea, i suggest to make a full stream instead.
    00:43:488 (8) - Flow killer, move it to 42/76

2) 00:31:330 (1,2,3,4) - While this rhythm is fine, compared to the start of the song, which uses this pattern 00:21:225 (1,2,3), I prefer the latter rhythm. The reason is that 00:21:857 (3) fits really well with the stringed instrument that is playing at that time. I do know that you may be thinking that copying the same pattern will be probably be boring for the player.

3) 01:19:330 (1,3) - I was thinking you can make these sliders parallel, but that is a small thing so you may not want to change it.

4) 01:23:278 (1,2,1,2,3) - Instead of a back and forth pattern you may try a star pattern or a pentagon pattern. If you do decide to do that I would use ctrl+shift+d as a guide for creating the said shape.

If you do decide to keep the back and forth jump, I was thinking for 01:23:593 (1,2,3) - To increase the distance between 2 and 3 just to make it a little bit more challenging. https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/4296512

5) 02:14:909 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - I am not a big fan of the jumps but that is because I like to follow the vocals, which would then lower the difficulty of this part and hence the overall difficulty of this map. That said however, when I first played this at parts such as 02:16:172 (1,2,3,4,5) - I did not expect to change direction from 2 to 3 to 3 to 4. I also feel the jumps to be pretty large, though this is an extra diff so you can get away with it.

6) 02:41:278, 02:43:172, 02:43:804, 02:46:330, 02:46:962, 02:48:225, 02:48:857, 02:49:488. These are strong beats, so I am curious as to why you do not have a note there? Add notes there please.

7) 02:50:278 to 02:52:488 Perhaps consider adding a section with lower slider velocity and follow the vocals here. The reason is that here the vocals are prominent and to me it is a waste if you do not use it. I assume you are trying some effect, though in today's map people do this all the time, which I do not like.

8) 03:25:488 (9,10,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6) - I do know that you are following that guitar bit at the back, and I do like your idea of changing the volume to match that. I do suggest that you add more timing points if you do desire a smoother increase/decrease in the volume.

9) 05:26:436 (4,5,6) - Shouldn't you angle slider 4 down so it flows neatly into 5 and 6?

Final Thoughts

Despite my slow speed, I did enjoy the hitsounds and sb and I did like most of the map. Some of the changes are personal niggles, such as the AR being too high and my aversion to the relatively huge jumps.

00:40:488 - Slider fits better IMO
00:50:751 (7,8,9) - really unneccessary jumpscare-degree effect volume increase. It makes no sense since it's a silent and slower part of the map before even a more silent part in the song. The only way this would work is if you make this a pattern and add it to parts like 00:43:172 (7,8,9) - and such
01:59:436 (5,6,7,8) - this is the only very big problem I have in this map. The map is very flowey and has the pattern to curve streams into jumps. This is anti-flow. Ctrl+J is needed.
02:07:015 (5,6,7,8) - same
02:29:751 (1,2,3,4,1) - I'd have this curved a little bit more
02:37:330 - insert break time or add something like this
03:12:857 (7) - delete. Music doesn't require this and sounds better without it.
03:15:383 - hitcircle can be put there for more drive, though it's very subjective.
03:40:488 (6,7,8,9) - ctrl+h pls
03:55:646 (5,6,7,8) - might as well make it flat
04:25:962 (1,2,3,4,1) - should be curved more
04:33:857 (1) - this pattern would work here well
05:49:330 (3,1) - make these form a bigger curve, huge jumps demands them.

Hi. I've checked your beatmap but I couldn't seem to find that much stuff to improve. It's a good map!

04:00:255 - Remove the new combo, because it's pointless
05:38:909 - From there the new combo has a different distance from the other combo, which looks weird IMO, I'd move it so the stream is connected

these two things are literally the only stuff that could be improved in my opinion. Good job anyways :)

00:52:172 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4) - tbh the hitsounds here seem lacking, and the also override the music somewhat with their volume, maybe try a different custom? a softer hitsound would be nice here since it is a softer section.

01:43:646 (3) - making this just a hitcircle would make a bit more sense imo, it leads onto 01:43:804 (4,5) - quite nicely too as it prepares them for the gaps in timing, i feel like the two sliders is too much overmap.

02:47:751 (1) - i feel like this slider is too curved, it would play much nicer like this or something like that, i tested it and it's works well imo.

03:19:804 (7) - this is much more fun to play ctrl+g, i think it would be a nice addition to spice things up here as i think it's too similar to 03:19:646 (6) - atm.

03:58:015 (8) - this also ctrl+g is more fun to play, and i think it differentiates it nicely from 03:57:541 (7) - as it looks to me at the moment like they are a bit too similar and it sticks out a bit to me, not in a good way.

04:19:330 (5) - small fix, snap to fix stack.

05:24:383 (1,2) - i feel like these could line up a bit better.

05:30:383 (6,7,1) - while testing this really stuck out as something that was uncomfortable to me. i think you should try something more like the ctrl+g version, and experiment with some more ideas here to improve this. though it does mean you'll need to move some other things around i think it would be better off being changed.

06:10:488 (4,5) - just like what i said a little bit above, i think these could do with lining up a bit better too.

06:19:646 (1) - i think this could be really cool as a 1/1 slider, mapping the strings here. you could even just copy 06:18:541 (1) - if you wanted, as well as making the sliderend silent.

overall pretty beautiful map + hitsounds dude, i am genuinely looking foward to being able to set a score on this when it's ranked!
