  7. How come 03:11:223 (1) - kiai is half as long as 03:12:900 (2) - even though they should be the same length (same throughout all maps I think) First kiai have one "BAM', meanwhile second has two I make no change

  1. 00:20:819 (3) - No, imo Change to 2 circles
  2. 00:49:608 (1) - This is a bit too close Thats fine imo

  6. Don't be afraid to add some 5-streams (or whatever they are called, you get what I mean) I'm not a big fan of that kind of stream, especially on hard diff :P

Love the song, and the maps are really well done. I don't have anything against the Normal, everything seems fine. Hope all goes well.

- add some mute sliderslide maybe can make this map feel better, especially in pho's normal. But its okay if you didnt do it because newbie player cant feel slider with that muted sliderslide

Summoned from the team queue ^^ Before I start I'm going to apologise if I don't find much to comment on in this set since it already looks really clean and well made, and has had a number of good NM/BN mod posts already, but here we go:

General Comments:
  1. Maybe include a third combo colour, something like a yellow or orange?
  2. I know it's a quiet intro so you don't want to be overbearing, but the hitsound volume is too low for me. I'd increase it to maybe 35% until 00:14:577 - (when the drum track begins) and then 55% up until the start of the kiai
  3. Personal preference and it may not be for you, but I like to drag the start of breaks out to the next white tick (or sometimes red if the bpm is high enough) - I just feel like this makes the transition to break during play feel smoother, but it's very minor
  4. Preview point should be snapped to 01:04:142 - (where the white tick is here) for all difficulties


Difficulty-Specific Comments:

Can't find a lot wrong with this so this difficulty so this will be a nazi blanketing mod (sorry ;_;)

00:18:304 (1) - Blanket is slightly off here, move to [x-382,y-236]

00:22:217 (3,4) - If these are supposed to be blanketed, move (4) to [x-368,y-160], otherwise ignore this

00:42:900 (3) - Rotate the tail of (2) 2 degrees cw to perfect the blanket here

01:50:167 (3) - Move to [x-11,y-189] to perfect the blanket with (2) here. If you do this you may need to reblanket 01:50:726 (4,5) - I feel as things are, you should rotate the tail of (4) 1 degree ccw (yes, super nazi lol)
02:02:652 (4) - ^ As above, rotate the tail 1 degree ccw

02:03:397 (5,1,2) - Maybe reflow slightly so you can stck (1) with the head of 02:02:093 (3) ?

02:34:701 (6) - Move to [x-330,y-208] to create a neat double blanket with (5)
02:43:645 (4) - ^ As above, move (4) to [x-136,y-240]
01:03:024 (1,2,4) - I can't hear a note in the music to justify the reverse on these like I can for 01:03:770 (3) so maybe make these regular 1/2 sliders?

02:02:093 (3,4,5,1,2) - Rearrange this slightly so that you can stack the head of (1) on top of (3) and the head of (2) on top of (4)

02:16:068 (1,2,3,4) - Someone complained at me for putting a pattern like this in a Hard diff on one of my maps, so it's nice to see someone else doing it! I think it's fine (:

02:31:534 (2,3) - Rotate the tail of (2) ccw so you can blanket these two if you think it fits. If you do this, make sure to do the same with 02:32:465 (1)

02:40:105 - There's a *slightly* weaker kick drum beat here that's probably still strong enough to warrant mapping. Maybe make 02:40:291 (1) a 1/2 slider starting here?

03:48:490 (1,1) - Woah, a double spinner! Haven't seen one of these in a while ;) maybe you could make the volume on the second spinner fade out over time? I think 03:54:453 is a good place to start gradually reducing the volume
I don't have an issue with triplets but I think they're *slightly* overused in this diff. I would consider whether all of them are really necessary and/or justified, but I guess this is just my personal preference

00:03:956 (2,3) - Maybe you're not bothered about blanketing in the Insane diff, but if you are, consider giving (2) more of a curve to blanket (3)

00:09:360 (3) - This would look better as a smooth curve IMO

01:11:969 (1,2,3,4) - You could arrange these into a more uniform diamond shaped pattern if you like. The blanketing around (2) is spot-on, so keep this note where it is and use it as an anchor point for the others

03:48:490 (1,1) - Same comment about the spinner volume as for Hard

Ok so I did a recheck, your diffs have 4 combo colours, but Pho's Normal currently only has two, a bright green and a deep blue. I really like the colours you've chosen so just update the Normal with these (:

I talked ranted with Pho about the normal difficulty so I'm not gonna mod it in this post

Hard

  1. 00:01:347 (2) - ctrl+g
  2. 00:08:614 (2) - there isn't really anything in the music that hints sharp turn like this, consider using more smooth/elliptical slider shape. (and why is there a finish)
  3. 00:09:360 (1,2,3,4) - Ok, so you were mapping to piano before the inherited timing point and you suddenly change it to chime. Please, continue mapping to the piano
  4. 00:22:217 (1) - errr you could remove NC but on the other hand you could leave itttt ehhhhhiano
  5. 00:30:229 (1,2) - try this rhythm, you are mapping to vocals, don't miss that red tick
  6. 00:34:515 (3) - either NC here or NC 00:35:074 (4) - here depending on your NC style
  7. 00:36:192 (1) - 1/1 slider to circle with 1/2 gap please.
  8. 00:51:099 (1) - I have no idea why this is snapped to 1/16
  9. 01:04:515 (1) - when there is such a distinct strong sound on the white tick, its just better off using 1/2 slider to circle instead of 1/2 reverse. A small jump from 1/2 slider to circle would fit nicely here.

    There were a lot of minor blanket errors, so if somebody points them out, please take your time and actually check them.
    The way you used varied distancing so extensively in this hard diff coupled with some overlap kinda worries me lol, wouldn't have really mattered if the song was short, but at longer maps it is quite taxing on players.

Insane

  1. 00:09:360 (3) - NC for SV change, there is downbeat anyways, probably a good place to start transitioning into NC per 1 downbeat from 2 downbeat
  2. 00:10:850 (1,2,3,4,5) - Can we have more movement here? the chime sounds are actually distinct per hit and that usually means its a pretty dang good idea to use varied distancing
  3. 00:24:266 (4) - NC
  4. 01:01:534 (4) - NC
  5. 01:02:465 (1) - remove NC
  6. 01:03:024 (2) - NC
  7. 01:07:496 (1) - would definitely use three circles here instead of 1/1
  8. 01:43:832 (2,3) - something like this would be neat


Again, same as hard diff, some blanket errors, keep an eye out for them yourself, they are easy to fix.
