Is there a way to do this? I know Valve does it on their newer games, like the Left4Dead series.

Basically, it will let you chose whatever res you want, but will not have a window border nor title.
So if you want fullscreen, but dislike how changing to "fullscreen mode" will change your monitor res for a second, then this works!

It's a pretty nice feature in my opinion...

Why don't you want window decorations?

Because they are gross, and also steal screens-space.

When you have osu! open, I'm pretty sure you won't care too much about screen space...

But that "stolen" screen space lets you move the window around!

The only use I see for a windowed no-border is for when you do it the entire size of your screen. It's useless if you're no-bordering smaller than your screen though.

How is this any different from fullscreen?

Your mouse isn't restricted to one screen when using multiple displays.

NOW WE'RE GETTING SOMEWHERE.

However, I like 1600x1200 for osu! and 2304x1440 for my desktop, but still want multimonitor benefits. I wonder if that'll work. =S

It does not change your resolution.

Even if you have, let's say 800x600 res, even if you fullscreen at that res as well, it will still modify your res for a second (and hence will make it a pain in the ass to alt-tab out of it a lot). With no border, it will be fullscreen, but won't modify your resolution.
