nice
Yup completely agree, 2nd song in 5th is a lot harder than rest ( i got similar accuracy on 5th and 6th dan only because of that map).Shxfted wrote:
Posted this in the main Dan thread too, but it belongs here specifically:
The second song of Dan 5 is significantly harder than the rest of the Dan 5 songs, and I believe it doesn't belong in Dan 5. It is harder than most of the Dan 6 stuff too IMO. Need more opinions on that. (I actually believe that it is harder than all of the Dan 6 songs).
The last song in Dan 7 is completely slow jam, and it is very hard to play for that reason. Dan 7 needs to be fixed before anyone tries it.
Other than those changes, I think the 4K Dans are really good, and should stay as they are.
5th dan should have 1 jacky chart in it, currently I think True Millennium Queen is fine (and the easiest in 5th) but if it needs to be changed, it'll happen.TheZiemniax wrote:
Maybe instead of this 5 dan 2nd song Danshi?
The main thing that makes True Millennium Queen significantly harder then rest is pretty high amount of 3-chords (hands) in that long and constant 1/3 chord stream.Fullerene- wrote:

I found True Millennium Queen to be really really easy, but maybe it's because I'm good at jacks? The 120 BPM handgluts weren't that bad for me personally, but I can see what you mean with the 160 BPM jacks. I'll replace it with something, but I'll have to look.Shxfted wrote:

I didn't think this was very much of an issue at the time, I'll fix the LNs regardless. Thanks for pointing that out, I'm retarded.Tidek wrote:

I recommend to put 2nd song from 5th dan instead of 3rd song in 6th. (and find something new and balanced for 2nd song in 5th dan).
Also, osu!mania is not Stepmania and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to remove those stupid 1/8 1/16 or even 1/24 LNs which are pretty impossible to acc (just change them into normal note). 4K dan courses depends on accuracy so please dont troll ppl with those accuracy breaking stupid short LNs.
And 7th Dan needs to be fixed, scroll speed on 3rd and last song is slower (feels like a slowjam).
3rd dan hasn't been finished yet. He's planning to upload it by the end of the day. CheersKaitoKid1998 wrote:
Just pointing a small error on the dropbox file. The 1st to 3rd Dan file only has the first 2 Dans, and not the 3rd Dan. Everything else is good. Good work up until now. Keep it up
Ok. Then there's no actual problemiJinjin wrote:

Look at what your course did to my key:
How exactly are these accessible? I tried out the first two 1st dan maps and I couldn't hope to pass either of them in a million years, let alone get 96%. I don't understand.Shoegazer wrote:

Welp I think they aren't beginner friendly at all, unlike 7k, 4k only has one dan set which may be the reason why the statting sets aren't really for beginners. And the Dan title irl is something.NeonPhoenix wrote:

Yeah "very accessible" is probably a bit of a stretch in hindsight, at least for clearing. Admittedly have played too much and too long to really determine what's "very accessible for new players" and what's not at this point. I'll just change the wording slightly to be more accurate.NeonPhoenix wrote:

Tachyon (ε-δ)Tenshi was, is, and will never be a standard for high difficulty Infinite.
Manabu Namiki - Tenshi (Full Version) [XozInfinite] [_Gezo_]
Somehow complex if you don't know how to do stuff.CephiCC wrote:

Oh my. Why not just make the files into the osz file from the get-go? (Thanks a bunch though <3)Lenfried- wrote:

Extract the rar file.
Compress any folder in the rar you want as zip
Change the zip extension to osz
Open the osz
Done!
Yeah, that'll work fine (provided osu doesn't just glitch and ignore the folders. I've seen that happen before.)Lenfried- wrote:
Jut thought of an alternative to make the folders work.
Copy paste a folder in the songs folder in oss program files
Open oss and hit f5
I think that works
