Wacom Bamboo Pen?

I (Purely accidently) chucked my pen at the wall (twice) the top came of but that wasnt a problem now the button came of thats also not a problem but Im worried that if I continue being careless (accidently) that my pen will stop working my question is are all wacom bamboo pens the same so I can buy a new one so for e.g would this work for the CTL-471K?

pretty much all wacom pens work will all wacom tablets
not sure about intuos pro or 1st generation wacom

They all should work fine, but I'm not so sure if the old models are compatible with it .
