I really never expected so many people to hate me because i mapped a DF song somehow different. I mean it is totally cool, if you guys don't like such a mapping style, but hating it in such a degree? I know that I am not the best mapper, but I gained quite some experience after mapping for almost 5 years. Therefore i did NEVER EVER expect this map to turn out this shitty. It took me quite some time to map this piece of s, but it took me even more time to search for so many mods and opinions. So much effort trying to get this ranked, but well. It wasn't anything near worth the time.You can't just forget this map,other mappers who have this situations are fixing their mistakes,for example on xi - Blue Zenith,QAT Members and fartownik fond their mistakes on 3 Diffs and Asphixia trusted to fix them,this is good when you fixing your map,especially when you taking care of it,but you just gave uped,you can't lose like that,this map Should be ranked or even Approved,imagine people will hyping in you if you will take all strengths to manage your dream,and keep in mind this is Dragonforce,Jenny and Lesjuh worked so hard to make this dream to map Dragonforce,and they took IN GENERAL ~5-6 minutes.
Mapping is still a very fun activity for me, but to be honest, I don't want to have to deal with anyone of you. The mapping community just gets more and more disgusting. People, who have nearly 0 experience in mapping and/or playing - probably only parotting other people's opinion without any clue - tell me it sucks. I know that you can have your own opinion about things like that, even though you cannot do it any better - same concept with cooking; you don't have to be a chef to find some meals/food disgusting, but if you can only smell the food and are way too stupid to put it in your mouth because your parents never taught you because you are actually adopted and they never really loved you, you are clearly not in the position to judge the whole thing (just a metaphor, so no offense). I actually appreciate opinions from people like Jenny, who at least put effort in explaining WHY they dislike this map, but 95% is just "meh, too difficult, spaced streams stoopid, this no good DF map cause it different".
I learned a bunch of stuff for future mapping at least, but since i REALLY don't want to have to deal with this League of Legends-like community, I will just stick to my old habits and keep on graveyard-mapping, including this map. Since the timing issue isn't a totally unplayable thing, I will just leave it as it is and get this graveyarded as fast as possible. I am sorry for the people, who put effort in modding and helping me out for nothing, but on the other side i really appreciate it, since it somehow changed the way I map.
I can imagine some of you are partying hard right now, but I also think some of you are pissed off with me for giving this up, since a few of you actually enjoyed this map, so... Sorry for that.

People seriously need to shut the f** up about spaced streams. The map "xi - Blue Zenith" has them and no one gave a crap about it. Good luck ranking this man.
might reconsider the weird streamprogression on some of the spaced streams later on, idk if you changed that because i dont have time to check right now but those things were stupidly hard to play, spacing itself is totally fine for a map like this.

The problem weren't the spaced streams, these streamshapes made the streams very unenjoyable. The spacing is pretty fine.

The first stream shapes were very enjoyable in my opinion... Then i had to change them and disliked them myself. But now I'm happy with them again, even though the stream shapes are made as simple as possible. There is just no variety, if you cannot make sharp turns or whatsoever. Streaming in circles and round shapes is just plain boring imo. (I also was a big fan of Genryuu Kaiko before all these changes to the streams happened. I wish i still would have the old version q.q).XiiD wrote:

Can't judge it by now because of vacation. But is it possible that the star rating went up much higher? Excited to look at this map again though, would love to see it ranked and be able to play it properly, lol.

Edit: Also, didn't the shapes change the shapes like every 3-5 circles before you changed it? Can't remember it properly, but if I'm not mistaken it was quite hard to read sometimes. Whatever, will see it when I'm back.

This is a pretty fun map to be honest which is why I just play it. Playing maps out of your league makes you better at this game. Besides, i can pass 75% of the map and I still try to beat itSupbads wrote:

And people complaning about spaced streams and jumps, i have a suggestion: go play an insane or hard map, and leave extra maps for people that know how to play the game at that level, being amateur at this game is your fault, not the map you are playing fault. Peace!
