Use RivaTuner or RefreshLock.

I don't think this will be added.

The reasons were that you can use RivaTuner or RefreshLock to accomplish this.

If a feature is only going to have a small amount of people (if any) using it, AND there's others applications already capable of doing the same thing that can be used alongside osu!, then there's no need for the feature.

Also, it could be easily argued that many players don't even know what a refresh rate it, let alone need a use for an option like this.

And think of the amount of reports we'd get because people set a wrong refresh rate or something.

You are right, if you people don't install the monitor driver that would happen.

Vga driver doesn't help too much.

Using a "Third Party App" sometimes doesn't work properly and make a waste of time getting back to the old drivers or updating the app.

Also
Increasing refresh rate give a "better" gameplay.

You can easily put the feature in a hidden box.

And you can easily just use RivaTuner like I do and it works across all applications.

No thanks. If you do that, you get bloated software.

If unneeded "features" are added to an app, they'll just cause more harm than good (as explained). If only half a dozen people (if that) need something like this, then it would be more worthwhile to give them their own solution (as provided) than have peppy waste his time implementing them. Denied.
