I've been wondering this for a while. I'll show a picture of what I'm trying to talk about.

When you hit a slider, IIRC the sound is either soft-hitnormal or normal-hitnormal. In the picture I linked about, is there an element name for the end of the slider so that there can be two hitsounds- one when you hit the slider, and another when it finishes?

what kind of hitsounds do you have? if not, maybe you have the same hitsounds in soft and normal

What are you even asking about? Hitsounds are mapped and have nothing to do with skinning directly. As a mapper you can assign hitsounds to the start and on the end. For example you can both make them normal or both soft or one normal, and the other soft. You can't change a maps settings (hitsounding on specific parts) with skins, only their appearance or audible feedback by providing replacements for the default sounds.

Depends on the mapper
A mapper can set both hitsounds
But ONLY the mapper (Like normal-hitfinish/normal at the start, and normal-hitclap/normal at the end for example)
