This mapset needs a more moddings before ranking

[General]
  1. Remove Characters name in the tag
  2. 00:55:452 - preview point should at this section
  3. Remove "Love Romance Comedy" and "2013" at the tag
  4. MP3 Bitrate seems low, search another MP3 that has a 192kbps bitrate please?
  5. The mapset needs a lot of Timings

I think you need a lot of Improvements on this mapset, but i'll give you my quick opinion :3
  1. Distance spacing should be 1.0x in Easy
  2. 00:07:568 (1) - 1/1 with no reverse will be better imo
  3. 00:09:298 (2) - 1/1 slider fits better
  4. 00:30:645 (5) - 1/1 slider please
  5. 01:23:000 (2) - you can add a note in blue tick! please

  2. Timing in the end of the map is also wrong. Add these timing points so it can fit the real BPM:
    81856 - 78 BPM
    82427 - 99 BPM

  3. If you want to use the video, please contact me in-game, here or with PM so I'd provide you a better quality and compression. Currently the quality is just terrible, thus high resolution users automatically have to turn it off.
  4. I recommend you to use this file for soft-sliderslide to avoid weird noise on the sliders. It is really annoying in some parts of your map.

  1. 00:03:240 (3,4) - The rhythm is quite pointless. There are no sounds on the repeats, so these should be just 1/2 sliders.
  2. 00:15:500 (2) - Similar issue as above, but more important. There is absolutely no reason to use 3/4 slider, when there is note on 00:15:644 - and fits perfectly for 1/2 slider, while there is nothing on 00:15:500 - in music. Just move it on 00:15:644 - and shorten it so it ends on 00:15:932 - .
  3. 00:19:826 (2) - I also don't think this is cool. You mapped not really important sound on this place, but didn't map quite significant sound on 00:19:971 - . I suggest to move the circle on 00:19:971 - put there additional circle so it is more sensible to the song.
  4. 00:27:326 (2) - The slider goes against the flow and additionally makes a not pretty overlap, I think something like screenshot below would be really fine.
  5. 00:37:855 (1,2) - Also a rhythm issue. You don't follow any sound on 00:38:000 - yet there is a sound on 00:38:144 - so I would use 1/2 slider on 00:37:855 - and a circle on 00:38:432 - . You can hear someting on 00:38:000 - because the sound starting on 00:37:855 - is fading out, thus changes pitch new sound on 00:38:144 - . That means there is no accurate point, because fading off is just each ms and there is no emphasized change which is on-beat.
  6. 00:51:846 (2) - Same as above.
  7. 01:04:971 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - I know this is supposed to be 'pattern', but you if there isn't a change which is recognizable by ear, you should keep the spacing exactly the same on all these streams like 01:00:355 (1,2,3,4,5) - because these are exactly the same sounds and exactly the same melody, not more or less emphasized, just same, but one is bigger one is smaller, that doesn't make a sense.
  8. 01:10:163 (1) - Avoiding these sliders would be cool. That's to improve overall design of the map, which is quite decreasing the quality when there is such an unsymmetry. If you wanted this kind of shape, what about using some red points like screenshot below?
  9. Check your new combos again, it doesn't really make sense because they seem to be put on random places.

  2. I think it would be more smart to put 01:04:682 (3) - on 01:04:971 - and add circle on 01:04:682 - because there actually isn't any sound which should be emphasized by repeat on 01:04:538 - , but it would follow the vocals nicely.
  3. Check the whole map for the straight sliders. I think there are too many and at least low-angle on some short sliders whould be cool. For example 00:21:930 (4,5) - could look like this instead. Pretty simple, doesn't run the flow and looks pretty well.

  1. Not really much to mention, it is nice difficulty, but I recommend to add some nicer shapes to it. Mainly, there is quite a high count of straight sliders which would be nice with some shape, so try it :)

Conclusion: Promising but needs more work

You should improve some shapes a bit, follow the music a bit smarter and don't forget to recheck new combos, they should fit to the song better. Putting new combo on each one or two downbeats (big white ticks) will most likely not ruin anything. Anyway, good luck. General Comments:
  1. Song Folder: You've got a video in the song folder but it didn't play when I ran the song (in either editor or play, and yes, I had video enabled) - might just want to recheck this quickly
  2. Song Setup: All your combo colours are pale, except for (3) which is really bold and feels quite garish against the bg. I'd change this to a pale purple colour, perhaps something like RGB 160,140,200
  3. Metadata: No issues
  4. Hitsounds: Your custom soft-hitnormal is really quiet compared to your other hitsounds, almost to the point of being inaudible. I'd try and find a slightly louder soft cymbal hitsound to use here
  5. AImod: Some notes and the kiai time green inherited points are unsnapped, probably from the recent offset change - might want to take a look at these
  6. Timing: One issue, see below.
01:21:701 (1) - This slider in Easy crosses multiple timing points with BPM changes and variable offset. Because of this, it will be almost impossible to snap properly, and is therefore unrankable. You can fix this by snapping these timing points a little better as I'll suggest below:

  1. 01:21:856 - The timing point here is too late for the corresponding note in the music, it should be on the blue tick at 01:21:846 - offset -10ms
  2. 01:22:427 - Same thing here, though not as much - move ths timing point back to 01:22:422 - offset -5ms, and change the BPM to 103.5, since this allows you to correctly snap the slider end on the blue tick at 01:22:566
  3. Don't forget to copy the same timing over to the other diffs and resnap the circles there (though this will be simple since there are no sliders here in the other diffs)
I don't have a huge amount of time right now, and since you got a great mod on the hardest diff recently, I'll go from the other end of the scale.

Easy:
  1. 00:00:932 (1) - Consider moving this to [x-160,y-200] - it's closer to the centre of the screen, making it easier for new players to react to. Also, it makes a neat equilateral triangle pattern, and due to the low BPM, an overlap with 00:04:971 (4) isn't a problem
  2. 00:04:971 (4) - NC here to follow a constant pattern of 1 NC every 2 downbeats, then remove NC from 00:07:855 (1)
  3. 00:04:971 (4,5) - Consider rotating each of these by 10-15 degrees clockwise, since the movement between 00:06:125 (5,6) is quite sharp. This will create a smoother and more interesting flow whilst still being tidy and symmetrical
  4. 00:07:855 (1) - Try rotating this about 25 degrees clockwise to create a smoother flow
  5. 00:09:586 (2,3,4) - Angle these slightly or make it so that they're not in a horizontal line to make this more interesting to play
  6. 00:15:932 (3) - There's no sound in the music on the slider end here, so this should be shortened to the previous white tick (and also NC to keep a constant pattern). However, to avoid an awkward long pause here, there's a snare drum sound at 00:18:240 that you could map with a circle instead
  7. 00:19:971 (2,3,4) - Flow is really sharp here, so I would rotate (2) 60 degrees anticlockwise, then re-arrange the next two sliders (4,5) with a neat double blanket, like this: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3165579. You'll need to move 00:24:009 (1,2) around a little if you do this, but I'll leave you to decide how to do this since I can't make your map for you ;)
  8. 00:26:894 (1,2) - Swap NC for the "2 downbeats per NC" pattern
  9. 00:33:817 (2,3) - Flow is quite sharp here, so rotate (2) 35 degrees clockwise to smooth it out a little
  10. 00:34:971 (3) - I feel like this slider doesn't really fir the music all that well as it covers a more interesting vocal pattern. For example, the prominent vocal notes are at 00:35:548 and the next two white ticks, but two of these are in the slider body and the other is a repeat. Strong sounds play much better when they're clickable, so I would do something like this instead: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3165616 - (3) is where your repeat slider currently begins and (4,5) is blanketed. Again, it's up to you to decide how you reflow 00:37:855 (1,2) etc. if you do this, since it will leave a large gap currently

  1. 01:21:856 - The timing point here is too late for the corresponding note in the music, it should be on the blue tick at 01:21:846 - offset -10ms
  2. 01:22:427 - Same thing here, though not as much - move ths timing point back to 01:22:422 - offset -5ms, and change the BPM to 103.5, since this allows you to correctly snap the slider end on the blue tick at 01:22:566
  3. Don't forget to copy the same timing over to the other diffs and resnap the circles there (though this will be simple since there are no sliders here in the other diffs)
I don't have a huge amount of time right now, and since you got a great mod on the hardest diff recently, I'll go from the other end of the scale.

Easy:
  1. 00:00:932 (1) - Consider moving this to [x-160,y-200] - it's closer to the centre of the screen, making it easier for new players to react to. Also, it makes a neat equilateral triangle pattern, and due to the low BPM, an overlap with 00:04:971 (4) isn't a problem
  2. 00:04:971 (4) - NC here to follow a constant pattern of 1 NC every 2 downbeats, then remove NC from 00:07:855 (1)
  3. 00:04:971 (4,5) - Consider rotating each of these by 10-15 degrees clockwise, since the movement between 00:06:125 (5,6) is quite sharp. This will create a smoother and more interesting flow whilst still being tidy and symmetrical
  4. 00:07:855 (1) - Try rotating this about 25 degrees clockwise to create a smoother flow
  5. 00:09:586 (2,3,4) - Angle these slightly or make it so that they're not in a horizontal line to make this more interesting to play
  6. 00:15:932 (3) - There's no sound in the music on the slider end here, so this should be shortened to the previous white tick (and also NC to keep a constant pattern). However, to avoid an awkward long pause here, there's a snare drum sound at 00:18:240 that you could map with a circle instead
  7. 00:19:971 (2,3,4) - Flow is really sharp here, so I would rotate (2) 60 degrees anticlockwise, then re-arrange the next two sliders (4,5) with a neat double blanket, like this: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3165579. You'll need to move 00:24:009 (1,2) around a little if you do this, but I'll leave you to decide how to do this since I can't make your map for you ;)
  8. 00:26:894 (1,2) - Swap NC for the "2 downbeats per NC" pattern
  9. 00:33:817 (2,3) - Flow is quite sharp here, so rotate (2) 35 degrees clockwise to smooth it out a little
  10. 00:34:971 (3) - I feel like this slider doesn't really fir the music all that well as it covers a more interesting vocal pattern. For example, the prominent vocal notes are at 00:35:548 and the next two white ticks, but two of these are in the slider body and the other is a repeat. Strong sounds play much better when they're clickable, so I would do something like this instead: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3165616 - (3) is where your repeat slider currently begins and (4,5) is blanketed. Again, it's up to you to decide how you reflow 00:37:855 (1,2) etc. if you do this, since it will leave a large gap currently

  5. 01:20:548 - Feels really empty here. Add a circle?
  6. The map feels messy and unstructured because it lacks visual patterns.
I'm very sorry having you mod insane and not making use of your advice. I felt that insane was too hard for a newbie mapper like me so i removed from the diff set

The maps seem technically okay, but lack the structure and polish to meet the ranking quality standards. Keep working to make the maps neater!

I've been away from Osu! for a long time and never got the chance to look at your mod i apologize again :cry:

-For future reference I think you should use a faster slider velocity. The sliders are really short and it doesn't look as nice as it could be (especially for Normal). Also, try different slider shapes other than Vs, curves, and straights. I think waves would make a nice addition for this song.

  1. Really not recommend to use AR 0 even it's a slow song, I would suggest to use about 1.5-2.5 for this diff.
  2. 00:17:086 (1) - You need to leave at least 4 white ticks(or 2 on low bpm songs) after a spinner to be considered rankable, this is to provide enough recovery time for players. In this case, I suggest using a long sliderart instead of a spinner since the spinner itself is quite short already, like what you did on 00:54:009 (1) .
  3. 00:28:625 (1,1) - Would be nice if you can make them pararell completely.
  4. 01:05:548 (1,2) - Ctrl+G rhythm? This way a 1/1 repeat slider would match the vocal properly.
Actually slider velocity in Easy is so low that I almost fall asleep while modding lol

Anyways the main concern of this mapset is the star rating spread, hard is a lot harder than normal, my suggestion here is either make an "Advanced" diff or reduce some big spacings in Hard like 00:24:009 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) for example. Or you can just revamp Easy and Normal with a higher SV, but that's the hard way of course.

I know the difficulty spread isn't the best but is the issue so bad that it won't get ranked because of that? Cause i've seen much bigger normal to hard difficulty jumps :?:
