Hiyo. So I just discovered the existence of osu earlier this week and I am extremely satisfied so far. I loved playing EBA years ago and was disappointed at the amount of songs and it just left me yearning for more.
So even though it's been a week since I've been playing, I have totally forgotten how I stumbled upon this site. OH! It was most likely some Youtube video I watched of someone playing a song on osu, I bet.
Well I'm not the best of players (I usually get As-Bs on 4-4.5 starred songs) but I'm trying hard! I love the Taiko mode since that's also one of my favorite casual rhythm games. I'm so glad to see the community here being so active with new maps added as others make them.
I've made a few Stepmania charts but I find the osu map maker to be much more friendly than the Stepmania chart editor. The metronome really helps in timing. I'm already halfway through one song and unlike the Stepmania chart community, the osu community seems much more... how should I say it... not as judgmental or intimidating. Well, whenever I feel like I've grown enough balls to introduce my song to the judges for them to analyze, I'll post it up. :3
