hi. my mod will be mostly general advice since i feel you still require some experience in mapping, sorry

general

-add in more audio lead in, recommended 200ms, while u currently have only around 700ms

hitsounds

-applies to all diffs, what i am going to say
you're hitsounds are all over the place, they're quite random and follow no pattern, usually for claps would be on the offbeats, every 2nd & 4th beat in a measure of 4/4, whistles would be on the first/ third beat, this hitsounding technique creates the effect you hear in most songs, even this one (listen to the chorus for example) . finishes are self explanatory for they go on emphasized sounds like 00:01:700 - 00:08:024 - and more, for example. of course you dont have to follow this pattern completely at places like 00:04:781 - where the drum doesnt exactly follow the pattern. but this applies for most cases

insane

-00:02:511 - it'd be better to remove this, theres no note on this beat in the music unlike places like 00:02:348 - , by doing what you currently have you lose the emphasis of the drum
-00:05:754 - better to follow drum here?
-00:09:484 - you ended this slider tail on a strong beat, which doesnt feel good since its not clickable and its really emphasized in the music better to make it clickable like a slider head or circle
-00:15:159 (3) - passive sliders arent always bad, but you chose a bad place to put one. since the emphasis of the piano is right on the tail, making this slider sound awkward
-00:17:754 (2) - should actually start at 00:17:835 - if you pay attention to the drums, yes this blue tick would be awkward to click so trying something like this would be appropriate here http://puu.sh/gWYak/8215b471e4.jpg
-00:19:051 (8,9) - this is a bad usage of spacing, its hard to tell they are 1/1 apart, try stacking instead
-00:26:997 - missing this beat is just awkward, you were following it before then you randomly stop, same with places like 00:26:511 - , 00:29:105 - ,00:29:592 - and more, it drives the player off guard
-00:47:321 (4,5,6,7,8) - a 1/3 stream is really unexpected, players will think this is 1/4 just out of habit, 1/3 repeat sliders would be better imo
-01:11:755 (1,1,1,1) - whats with all these nc's? i dont get the point of these since they don't really fit here for me

hard

-just a quick tip but usually 1/2 in hard aren't spaced like 1/4's in hard, its confusing because especially in the beginning & end, players may interpret your 1/2 notes as 1/4
-00:26:024 - for these notes i'd suggest mapping the instrumental instead of the beat since the instrumentals are most dominant here, even though you're following the beat it feels off not following the dominant sound
-00:39:321 - this shouldnt be 1/4, if you listen to the music at 25% theres definetely no triplet here
-00:45:809 (1,2,3) - equal spacing please
-01:03:971 (1,2,3,4) - ^ distance snap works nicely for these parts hinthint

-i disagree with your usage of 1/2, they all aren't used ''correctly'' i mean, for music theres always going to be a base beat, usually weak ticks on 1/2, but you use your 1/2 rhythm to follow those instead of the actual instruments playing in the song, doesnt play in a rational way imo
-also remember to use distance throughout the whole song, with little to no exceptions, i noticed at parts like 00:17:754 (2,3) - 00:14:673 (1,2) - 00:15:971 (1,2) - you turned it off, dont do that please, you can use a higher grid if you have trouble stacking
-keep your new combo's consistent, stick to one pattern (id suggest 1 nc every second measure) stuff like 01:03:971 (1,1,1,1) - shouldnt really be in normal

easy

-keep distance snap consistent throughout the map, and i'd suggest a distance that wont make notes 1/1 apart overlap each other, you can easily notice spacing inconsistencies in parts like 00:50:998 (1,2,3) - (and many more throughout the map)
-00:25:051 (1,2) - pathway isnt very clear, may be questionable to some qats i dunno

remember i only gave you general points/ tips stuff, my mod isnt really a 'reply line by line' i hope you will take in these and actually fix stuff throughout the map if you want to improve it,looking at recently ranked maps to see how they are constructed is a good idea too like celsius said

- The soundmapping is a real mess.
You are not consistent with the hitsounds in your diffs, sometimes you have a hitsound in a diff that you don't have at the same place in the other diffs
Examples:

- 00:01:051 (2) - there's a clap in the Easy diff but not in the others
- 00:03:646 (2) - same
- 00:03:321 - no clap in the Normal diff but claps in the others
- 00:09:484 (6) - whistle in Easy and Hard diffs, but not in Normal and Insane diffs
Also, there are almost no timing points to variate the volume of the hitsounds accordingly to the song. The soundmapping of a beatmap is very important and also offers more comfortability when playing. You should take a while to decide what hitsounds you wanna use (even custom hitsounds for a better experience) and how to use them, with timing points (green lines) to make the hitsound volume variate during the map, accordingly to the song.

If I can give you an advice, you may entirely remap the hitsounds of your Insane diff, and use an hitsound copier to apply the same hitsounds on your lower diffs. (you should find this kind of software in the Development section)
Good luck.

- Your offset is wrong. Try to use 390, don't forget to move all your timing points/items.
- You may rework the distances of all your diffs, especially the lower ones. There are a lot of distances issues.

Here's my side of the m4m from your queue - you mentioned that hitsounding is ongoing, so for that aspect I'll just give some general advice where appropriate.

General Comments:
  1. Don't think you need Widescreen Support enabled in Song Setup, since you're not using a SB
  2. Offset doesn't feel quite right to me, notes seemed to arrive slightly too late for the corresponding beats in the music. Try an offset of 400ms instead (remember to resnap all notes)
  3. BG image is 960x768 which is unrankable - try and find or crop a new image that's either 1024x768 or (preferably) 1366x768
  4. Try not to use strong hitsounds like drum claps on every note, as it becomes very overbearing. An example of this would be 00:03:318 (1,2,3) in Easy. You should try and aim for a 2/1 clap pattern (so put a clap on every other beat, unless you want to throw in a whistle/finish. In the example above, your clap should go on (2)
  5. Ensure hitsounds and volume are consistent between diffs unless you decide to map a different instrument or switch to a different game mode, etc. It's nice to maintain consistency like this, and it means you don't have any really loud sections that don't quite fit (e.g. 00:00:400 in Easy is 100% volume, whereas in the other diffs it's ~60%)
Difficulty-Specific Comments:

Easy
HP/OD 3 instead of 4 to create a better spread across difficulties

00:08:021 (3) - Having this start on the 1/2 is quite confusing for new players, since the first syllable of the vocals is on the white tick at 00:07:859 - which is much easier to read. I would make the slider start there instead

00:32:832 (5) - Make a NC here, since you should try to avoid long combos like this in easier diffs to make the HP drain more forgiving on newer players

00:55:535 (3,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - This section really confuse me, since you had been following a 2/1 patten for most of the song, and then you just suddenly switch to mapping every beat. New players might feel hurried by this sudden "doubling" in pace and struggle. If you are going to use 1/1, the kiai is the place to do it, but use it sparingly

00:58:778 (5) - NC for same reasons as 00:32:832 (5)

00:05:268 (4) - I think this would sound better if extended to end on the white tick at 00:05:916

00:21:159 (2,3,4,5) - I can see why you used 3/2 sliders here (the vocals are 1.2 apart), but this 1/2 spaced section is quite awkward to play. I would just stick to using 1/1 sliders

00:23:754 (7,8) - These could be blanketed better - (7) needs to be rotated 7 degrees cw, and the curve reduced slightly

00:31:213 (1) - NC here doesn't really make sense, move it to 00:30:565 (5) instead for the start of the vocal line

00:32:835 (5) - NC here (combo length)

00:37:700 (4) - You could extend this slider for the held vocal note, since there's a 3 beat gap to the next note at 00:39:322 (1)

01:17:917 (4,1) - The 1/2 note under the slider head here is quite confusing. I'd remove the circle and extend the slider by 1/2

00:01:700 (4) - With harder difficulties, try to break down some longer sliders like these (other examples are 00:04:294 (1,2) -) into more interesting and complex patterns. There's a neat drum pattern you can try if you like (this example is for 00:04:294 (1,2) -)


00:16:295 (5,6) - Curve (6) slightly more to create a far-away blanket with (5)

00:20:998 (2,3,4) - Move (3) to [x-32,y-88] and (4) to [x-100,y-148] to make this pattern symmetrical

00:21:646 (4,5,6,7,8) - If you decide to do the above, ensure the same pattern and spacing is used in the rest of the combo, although you should try rotating or changing shape of some of the sliders for variety

00:46:782 (3,1) - Same as for 00:01:700 (4) - try and avoid long lazy sliders if there are more interesting patterns beneath them. In the case of these two sliders, (3) has a 1/3 drum fill from 00:47:430 to 00:48:078 and (1) has a 1/3 piano stream from 00:48:727 to 00:49:375 - so try and make use of these more complex pieces of music in your harder diffs to make them more interesting if you feel they fit.

00:58:781 (6,1) - NC here and remove from 00:59:105 (1) since 00:58:781 (6) is a downbeat

01:13:051 (8) - NC here and remove NC from 01:14:349 (1) to make it consistent with 00:55:538 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6)

01:15:159 (7,1) - As 00:58:781 (6,1)

Stack leniency warning in AImod - Reduce stack leniency to 0.7 in Song Setup to be consistent with other diffs

00:03:971 (3,4,5) - Rotate cw or increase the curve of (5) to create a neater blanket around (3,4)

00:20:187 (1,2) - Only use a single grey anchor point for simple curved sliders like these as it usually results in a much better blanket

00:29:430 (6) - There's a nice drum triplet here, so maybe remove this 1/2 slider and add 3 1/4 circles

00:30:728 (3) - Curve this slider more to create a better blanket around (4)

00:52:294 (3,4,5) - Either blanket these, or move (4) further away from the centre of the circle created by (3,5) as currently this just looks a little sloppy

01:03:970 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,5) - This pattern is seriously cool. I mean it. I recommend this kind of thing to people all the time and they say things like "I don't want to make a boring spiral, random jumps are better." I love it, and you can have a star from me just for this <3

01:23:267 (1,3) - These almost straight sliders are a little plain for my taste. Consider giving them more of a curve, and blanketing them if you think it looks good (blanket (1) around either the body or head of (3))

Ensure hitsounds and volume are consistent between diffs unless you decide to map a different instrument or switch to a different game mode, etc. It's nice to maintain consistency like this, and it means you don't have any really loud sections that don't quite fit (e.g. 00:00:400 in Easy is 100% volume, whereas in the other diffs it's ~60%)

01:23:267 (1,3) - These almost straight sliders are a little plain for my taste. Consider giving them more of a curve, and blanketing them if you think it looks good (blanket (1) around either the body or head of (3)) Reworked them a little

  5. Try using the drum sampleset as primary and then use normal sampleset every 2nd beat and 4th beat? (or use that soft-hitclap custom)
  6. Might be helpful to rotate your custom hitsounds as: drum-hitnormal -> drum-hitwhistle, soft-hitclap -> drum-hitclap, soft-sliderslide -> drum-sliderslide

  1. I see that you just recently started mapping so this was pretty good! However, I think that this map set needs quite a bit of work still.
  2. I really suggest you read through this guide about flow written by Shiro https://osu.ppy.sh/news/61334266941, this will get you a long way for note placement after sliders.

  4. You should make the volume 60% up from 59%
  5. You should increase the hit sound volume in the kiai time from 60% to like 70% or 80%
  6. You need to stay consistent with spinners, they should generally start and end at the same place in every difficulty
  7. The slider velocity is the same in every difficulty http://puu.sh/haNWy/8597ee78bd.jpg which makes the spacing the same in every difficulty, because of this I think you should at the very least remap the easy and normal difficulty after adjusting the slider velocity.

  3. 00:47:427(4,5,6,7,8) - This is a big problem. The first three notes are mapped in 1/6 beat snap divisor and then the last two in 1/4 beat snap divisor, but the spacing between all five are exactly the same. Make them all 1/6 beat snapped.
  4. 00:55:535 - Don't place this so close to the end of that slider. It makes it look like you're supposed to hit it an eighth beat earlier than it actually is.
  5. 01:09:967(6,7) - This doesn't sound good to me. Try shortening 6 to the white tick.
  6. 01:15:481(1) - This is also unnecessarily long. Shorten to the red tick.

  1. 00:03:156 - Try and avoid ugly overlaps like this.
  2. 00:20:832 - Why are 1 and 2 overlapping? It's the same beat apart as the rest of the combo right? Try and be more clear with overlaps like these. If you're gonna overlap it instead of space it, make it really close, or really far. Exaggerate it (kind of).
