Maybe to vary those, during second kiai, add a 1/4? Maybe ddd during the first parts.

Other than repetitive kiai, the diff is perfect!

Okay, here's my mod:


For Nardo's Muzukashii, there's really not much I would change. The only thing is that some of the gaps between the notes are kind of long, and in some of the sections, I would add an extra note or two to make the map more interesting.

For example: 00:03:672 - Maybe add a don here.

00:04:673 - Add a couple kats before the don. And throughout that section, like at 00:09:012, add a don, stuff like that.

00:15:012 - Add a don here.

00:26:178 - Add a don here, and a kat an eighth note after it.

00:31:678 - Add a kat here.

Just minor stuff like that throughout the song, and at the end, like at 01:24:345 - Add a don, 01:25:012 - Add a don here too, 01:26:012 - Add a kat, and 01:26:345 - Add a don.


So basically, add a few extra notes to fill in the space. :D

I have to go now, but I'll mod the other two difficulties tomorrow. I hope this helps!

(P.S. It's totally fine with me if you don't like some of the suggestions, I just thought they would spruce up the song a little. :) )

Okay, I'm awake and ready to mod Ozzy's Oni and Nardo's Inner Oni.

I think that Ozzy's Oni is a very good map with great timing, but the only problems with it are the same as in Nardo's Muzukashii.

I know that the dons and kats I mentioned (and will mention) aren't specifically in the song, there was just a little bit of empty space that needed to be filled up. It's no big deal if you don't agree with my suggestions for it, but I think they would help out a little.

00:04:673 - add a kat.
00:05:007 - add a kat.

00:09:679 - add a kat here.
00:10:013 - add a kat here.
00:10:346 - add a kat here. (Sorry about all the kats, I just thought they fit the most in this beatmap)

I honestly love the rest of the beatmap from that point on. Good job, Ozzy! :)


Now, for Nardo's Inner Oni:

I think that the only problem here is with the empty space, just like with the other two maps. I really do like the map, though.

00:04:006 - Add a kat.
00:04:340 - Add a don.
00:04:673 - Add a don.
00:05:007 - Add a kat.
00:09:679 - Add a kat.
00:10:013 - Add a kat.
00:10:346 - Add a kat.

And, again, from there I think it's perfect. :D


Again, with all three difficulties, those aren't things that absolutely have to be changed, I just thought they would help out the song.

  3. Why don't put the audio preview here 00:45:345 ? If you start it right at where the vocal start, the vocal will become kinda covered (hope you understand xD) I mean when you select a song, the song start with fade in and if you place the audio preview right at the vocal, the vocal will be covered by the fade in (apalah, begitu pokoknya :v)

[ByBy's Easy]
  1. There's one DS problem... These two 01:10:345 (2,3) -
  2. 00:02:671 (1) - Maybe you could make this look less like "distorted" slider wave (curve it more)
  3. 00:10:679 I think you need to add a note here.... The sound is pretty big to ignore... It's also good as a lead up to the next part
  4. 00:14:012 (2,1) - They are overlapped .-. maybe you could move (1) to the right a bit.
  5. 00:44:012 (2,1) - Maybe you could blanket (2)'s tail so you could place 00:46:345 (2) - at where (2)'s tail was while keep blanketing it.

At some part, you could make the flow better by reducing the "steepness"; 01:18:678 (4) - 00:24:678 (3) - 01:15:178 (1) - and other. Maybe pay more attention to flow would be nice, especially for easier difficulties ;)

  1. Advanced? Like Normal+? .-.
  2. Is this diff supposed to keep the DS consistent? If yes, you have one DS problem.
  3. Maybe keep the slider tick rate consistent, the other use 1.
  4. 00:00:335 (1) - Actually if you want to follow vocal, using 1.5/1 slider (or 1/1 slider followed by a circle) would work best since the vocal is pretty long. But like this is alright I guess xD
  5. 00:03:672 (3,2) - Overlapped... Maybe move (2) kinda upward to avoid it.
  6. 00:07:677 (5,1) - Keep the DS? why do you reduce it here?
  7. 00:09:345 (5) - It might be surprising because you suddenly followed backsound when you previously followed vocal (this part 00:08:344 (2,3) - ) The player might click this note too early because they thought it follow vocal as well. I suggest to either move this to follow the vocal or add a note here 00:09:178 to follow both, vocal and backsound.
  8. Woah, you use the same SV with Hard? that pretty far jump (from Normal which uses 1.00... If I think about it, the Normal could actually use 1.10 or 1.20 since the Easy uses 0.90...) o-o 1.30 or 1.40 would work best (and spread best) but it's up to you to change it or not (since changing SV = remap xD)
  9. 00:15:845 (1) - A simple circle would work nicely imo since it's just a short sound and nothing to slide... Furthermore, a circle will help you feel the "pound" more.

  1. What are all the timing points for? I can assure you they are not needed, and if there was anything that would change, it would be the offset, and not the bpm. The first objects sound very early compared to the voice in the song, while near the second timing point it starts sounding too late. I recommend only using 1 timing point (offset 0~2) of 180 bpm. But since my name is not Charles a lot of people won't believe me, so at least consider moving the last offset by ~ -12 ms, because it sounds terribly late. or ask someone you trust more about timing. IF you were to change the timing, the suggestions below are before any timing change.
Nirvana

  1. Nice diff
00:22:512 (12) - Move to the tail of the slider instead? The higher pitch guitar at this place and the larger spacing here 00:21:678 (7,8) - would let it make sense
00:20:678 (4) - It feels more comfortable for this slider to be moved up, both moving towards the stream and coming from the previous slider
00:39:345 (5,6,7) - these stream objects sounds extremely late, I think you'll need a second timing point for this one, since it even sounds late with the offset I suggested
00:41:845 - It is a little weird to ignore this sound, you should probably add a circle or make a slider of the previous circle
00:44:678 (5) - Snare on the slider-head? I think that there is something in the song that qualifies for it. Same here 00:44:345 (3) -
01:01:678 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - I like the increasing distance but it could be increased a little because it's barely visible now. Something like this
01:20:012 (1) - Move further away for the downbeat?

Insane

00:07:510 (4) - Try a pattern like this. Right now there is a larger spacing between the 2 1/2 sliders than between that last 1/2 slider and the 1/1 slider that deserves the larger spacing. Not only that, the voice sings a note on the slider-end of 00:07:510 (4) - , making this offbeat slider unnecessary to use.
00:09:178 (1,2,3) - I also don't really like these offbeat sliders, it doesn't really represent something better than sliders that start on the white ticks, except for the first one which represents the voice
00:12:178 (2) - Pretty much the same thing as 00:07:510 (4) -
00:18:179 (6,7) - This very small distance is pretty weird, why not stack it on 00:17:512 (2) - for example
00:34:512 (1) - It feels wrong to me to ignore the vocals here, but if you think that's fine, that's alright. Same thing at the similar spots
00:42:095 (2) - Not sure if it was your intention to have it slightly curved but 1 pixel down and right for a straight custom stack
00:44:012 (1) - More distance for the downbeat, and the slightly increasing volume of the drum pattern in the background?
00:45:678 (2) - Same thing about the vocals. Your are pretty much mapping straight through it.
00:49:012 (4,1,2) - This pattern is cool, but doesn't fit here, since it's going over a downbeat. (idk if I'm making sense to you, basically there is no pattern in the song that repeats 2 times so this pattern would represent it). It's better to emphasize the downbeat with a little extra distance, but then the triangle pattern would be gone.
00:55:012 (3,4) - Consistent spacing? Or extra distance for the stream. But the current pattern is a little weird. Also, this is supposed to be a light insane to fill up the gap (right?). This stream is harder than the one used in the Nirvana diff, so that's also a little weird
01:00:012 (1) - Make this slider the same shape as 01:00:345 (2) - ? The anti-flow would fit for the downbeat and it would look better, or at least I think it does
01:01:678 (2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - This pattern is also arguably harder than the pattern used in the Nirvana diff. But you could at least make and increasing spacing to represent the volume increase of the drum pattern in the song (like you did in Nirvana)
01:07:678 (4) - Same shape as 01:07:345 (3) - ? It would look cool
01:17:345 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Why not the same hitsounds as in Nirvana? The whistles are not in the song, but I can definitely hear snares, but those aren't hitsounded
01:27:678 (4) - Uhm move a little up or down. Idk but the staight pattern here is a little weird.

Hard

  1. You are using x1.1 SV in the kiai parts, making the SV larger than in the insane diff. I highly recommend you to remap the kiais with a x1.0 SV to avoid spead issues.
00:31:178 (3,1) - I know hard players aren't completely newbie, but this is quite confusing (it feels less natural than 00:33:845 (3,4) - ). You could make some kind of Triangle shape for example to solve it
00:33:178 (1,2,3) - I know it's because of the stack, but try to make the spacing consistent or a larger distance for the snare
00:34:512 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4) - Why is spacing here larger than the next measures? Consider making it the same
00:42:678 (1) - You made an anti-jump in the other diffs, so why not do the same here? Or at least use a circle/1/2 slider because an extended slider does not really fit
00:54:345 (1) - Remove NC and place it on the next circle?
01:05:845 (2,3) - Why the offbeat sliders :(
01:17:345 (1) - Same about the hitsounds as the insane

Nya's Normal

  1. The last part of the second kiai actually has snares every beat, so why not use them at those spots instead of every 2nd and 4th beat only?
00:05:841 (2,3,4,5,6,7,1) - Why not stay consistent with the previous measures? It feels really dense for a soft intro like this one.
00:20:512 - 00:22:512 - Wouldn't spots like these be better to use the circle you placed here 00:19:845 (3) - 00:21:845 (2) - ? Because of the guitar
00:33:345 (3) - Just a suggestion, but you could remove the return and place a circle on the red tick. It would give a little break which fits the music pretty well, instead of a slider-end which ends on almost nothing, ignoring the snare :(
01:01:178 - Consider mapping this spot with a circle, instead of the spinner already starting. It's still a pretty strong beat, so something tappable would be nice
01:28:012 - Same for this spot

  1. I like the slider art
00:10:679 (1) - Move this to the downbeat, and add a circle after it? This slider feel veeery weird at this spot, because both the slider return as the slider end represent weaker ticks of the song. Even better would be this. The "offbeat" slider (it isn't offbeat, but the head falls on one of the weaker beats) makes it a little weird as the slider-end falls on the downbeat
00:14:012 (2,1) - This overlap looks pretty bad, I suggest moving the sliders a little
00:29:345 (1,2) - this could look a little better by adding a second white anchor

  1. What are all the timing points for? I can assure you they are not needed, and if there was anything that would change, it would be the offset, and not the bpm. The first objects sound very early compared to the voice in the song, while near the second timing point it starts sounding too late. I recommend only using 1 timing point (offset 0~2) of 180 bpm. 00:09:178 (1,2,3) - I also don't really like these offbeat sliders, it doesn't really represent something better than sliders that start on the white ticks, except for the first one which represents the voice . This stream is harder than the one used in the Nirvana diff, so that's also a little weird Nope. I have a big spacing between (4) and streams before. But after someone mod it, I noticed that if I gice a big spacing between them, It will more harder to be an Insane diff. I've change the hitsound for Nirvana diff but I forgot to apply it in another diffs lol.
01:27:678 (4) - Uhm move a little up or down. Idk but the staight pattern here is a little weird. It's not straight. The slider curved a bit :3. Even if it was straight, I'll keep it like this since the distance was still same.

  1. You are using x1.1 SV in the kiai parts, making the SV larger than in the insane diff. I highly recommend you to remap the kiais with a x1.0 SV to avoid spead issues. Didn't notice it lol. Remapped.
00:31:178 (3,1) - I know hard players aren't completely newbie, but this is quite confusing (it feels less natural than 00:33:845 (3,4) - ). You could make some kind of Triangle shape for example to solve it Hmmm... agreed :3
00:33:178 (1,2,3) - I know it's because of the stack, but try to make the spacing consistent or a larger distance for the snare don't really get it. They have consistent spacing at all.

  1. I like the slider art
00:10:679 (1) - Move this to the downbeat, and add a circle after it? This slider feel veeery weird at this spot, because both the slider return as the slider end represent weaker ticks of the song. Even better would be this. The "offbeat" slider (it isn't offbeat, but the head falls on one of the weaker beats) makes it a little weird as the slider-end falls on the downbeat I prefer to add a circle (like nanodesu's mod) and keep the slider following the vocal. Kinda fixed
00:14:012 (2,1) - This overlap looks pretty bad, I suggest moving the sliders a little moved
00:29:345 (1,2) - this could look a little better by adding a second white anchor Nope. It's still readable at all. (And when we play it people won't see the dots but the slider XD)
01:28:012 - Same as the normal The spinner started right at thhe last high beat in the song was really usual for Easy/Normal diff because it won't confuse the new player with a note followed by spinner. Maybe some mapset use it because there's a point where they can put a spinner after the notes but not for this one. (That was my suggestion :3)

Mmmmmm Skeuddy, it would really help if you included some reasons for your suggestions in your mods. All of your mods are 'd' 'k' etc. and it doesn't help give mappers any way to see your point of view.

No change, most suggestions didn't quite follow drums how I want to, but decided to delete 00:39:896 (173) - .
