EDIT2: Okay, breaks as soon you put put more than 3 spoilers, have a different example then...
EDIT3: Nevermind, it seems to randomly break as soon you put spoilers into spoilers, sometimes it works but is buggy in the way OP complains about but most of the time it just fails to parse correctly.
V The nested spoilers i have above, in code tags, to show that the tags are correctly written, with extra spacing so its easier to understand how the spoilers are nested.
