Non-boss as in the characters that are available at the start and boss characters are characters like Iku and Tenshi in swr.

And if I remember right you couldn't play as Iku and Tenshi until you beat story mode in swr so they don't want spoil characters so you can be surprised when you reach them in story mode.

It was same with Suwako and Okuu in Hisoutensoku.

So if there is Koishi so maybe chance for Flandre? I haven't seen her anywhere in background (especially with Remilia in Hakurei Shrine bg)

yeah it turns out that facebook post was made back in january but no one listened to him.

The guy looked through the first demo's data in a hex editor and Tasofro left the name strings of all the characters in the code and it has Mamizou in there too and an empty string where the final boss should be (probably the name wasn't finalized back then).

Yeah the full version of HM, the demo version of TH14 as well as Manpuku Jinja's newest Touhou anime will come out today. :)

I've tried the demo a little bit now. It's good to see ZUN kept Spell Practice in, I really like the stage 3 boss, she has some fun attacks, I think I only managed to capture one on Lunatic though they were pretty hard >.<.

Did a run on easy to see how many resources you can get

That was a full bomb stock +1, getting an extra bomb with a full stock already doesn't loose it, after using one your stock is still full.


can't say anything for the scoring system all I can see at the moment is graze to increase PIV, hopefully there's a bit more to it than that.

Overall it's been a fun game so far

and so last week, i started playing Touhou 8 and gosh, so hard even on easy mode :/ . i cant pass beyond Eirin Yagokoro, she's too tough; i'm so stuck with her. And also, Marisa/Reimu are fairly tough too, glad i passed them =w=

I tried playing Touhou Mystic Square. It all went well until Yumeko boss fight. Then, I had to waste lots of continues on the fight against Shinki. My god, those fat homing blobs were horrifying.
