I don't understand somethings about score and ranking!!
here is an example, but it isn't the only case of it!
i play song and i do 99,21 acc and i'm 62 on ranking but rank 40 have 98,89 acc, with 20,000 of score diference, if he do better spins, i understand if he or she have 4,000 or 5,000 more.
how can it be ?

You get less points if you hit 100's later in the song.

He did better later on in the map than you did. The higher your combo the more each hitcircle/slider etc is worth, so a 300 when you have a 400 combo is worth much, much more than a 300 at a 50 combo. So the difference between a 300 and a 100 is much greater at a higher combo.

but i have:

300: 416 Finish 300: 84
100: 5 Finish 100: 4
50: 0 miss: 0

score: 6468256

rank 40 is:

300: 414 Finish 300: 82
100: 7 Finish 100: 6
50: 0 miss: 0

we don't have 50 ar something like that and i have less 100 and finish 100 and more 300 and finish 300.

i can't understand! xD

El #40 tiene un combo de 655 y tu uno de 654, seguro habrás hecho algun slider con 100.

Sorry for use spanish, but my english is bad.

Well, once I had a SS on Taiko, then I realized I didn't reach not even the place I had before!!

That happens often, and Glasslake said why:

It's how osu!'s score calculations work.

In short, the score you get per note depends on the current combo count. For a higher combo count, you get more points.

With a very high combo, the 200 point difference between 100's and 300's can be more dramatic. A 100 at the end of the song costs you more points than a 100 at the beginning of the song because of this.
