Umm...

I was playing in Taiko mode, and after the song finished, the game kept playing (the song stopped as it was finished, vid too, but the game didn't go to the ranking thing)

Osu Build: b1554
Beatmap: A-ha - Take On Me (Normal)
Operating System: Win Vista HP SP1

Well, after playing again it worked fine... Still, weird that that happened.

That this is a duplicate of the bug posted above remains unproven.
AFAIK I fixed the 'duplicate' 8 months ago which means this is either a re-entrant or a similar bug with the same endresult.

When you fail the song, it should bring up the "you failed; wanna retry?" menu.

But I did fix the bug right? I have a feeling this has been going on for 8 months and no-one complained :(

I haven't played Taiko in those eight months, so I don't think I would have encountered the bug. =]

I'll try playing more Taiko and if it comes up again I'll let you know.

Actually I still encounter this bug pretty often, though not 100% as last time.

BUT, I DO keep getting the bug when I try (and obviously fail no matter how much I do my best at it) playing [Oni InsAAAAAAAAAAne] on this map: http://osu.ppy.sh/s/14151 . I always get the never-ending bug when I fail this song (...it's not like I can pass it actually)

Also happend on your regular Kita2000 Zekira, well for me it does.
Not really a problem, just press Escape when it happens.

Hmm, I got this playing (Demetori - Love Coloured Master Spark)[http://osu.ppy.sh/s/9960] on osu! standard. The song kept playing, ESC went to the pause menu.

The song looped at the end, and eventually "notes" started appearing:

(Note, this is after I finished and passed the map.)

I got something similar to stager but on SID - Uso (TV Size) on all difficulites.

I didn't get notes appearing at the end though :/

Edit:I tried it a bit later and it seems to work fine now.... wonder what triggers that bug....

Happened again, with (ELISA - Real Force (TV Size))[http://osu.ppy.sh/s/12327] [Insane]

The note thingies didn't appear like they did before. Hmm.
