So i am playing osu! for 5 months now, enjoyed the game a lot by playing the songs i like. But now i have a problem that i cant seem to solve.

I use mouse click to singletap and x for doing 1/4 notes. I learned triples and even streams that has 5 notes which was necessary for dnb songs because i like them.I am playing this game for fun and as i said i really enjoyed it.

I managed to do well on 4 star insanes so i played harder insanes more.
But 5 weeks from now i am struggleing with streams that have more than 5 notes... It confuses me and i often lose the rhytm which sometimes causes me to die.
I uploaded a video which really shows what i am talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvqA6Nd ... e=youtu.be
I hope i can learn that by playing more so i can pass those maps: https://osu.ppy.sh/s/181310 https://osu.ppy.sh/s/212387

Is that possible to do that with my playstyle? Or i just have to learn how to control my fingers.
What should i do? Should i play easier maps or streamy maps or maybe do 4,5 stars?

Welp your problems will vanish if you play more, but I can tell you that I wouldn't know how to play with mouse and x.

My tip is: switch to x and y or other buttons on the keyboard to click.

Also THE top tip: Play the game! Play it and you will see that you improve!

Edit: Believe the people commenting after me...they probably know more about this :D

aim and hit them properly. alternate properly. look at your replay make sure you didnt click+x at the same time

stream is like driving a car

Yes, it is possible to stream with your playstyle.

Streaming is basically alternating your two keys at a steady tempo so
you have to first build up your finger control. Get familiar with triplets
and 5 note streams first and then build towards longer streams

The most important thing about click x playstyle is that you have to learn to switch hands on alternates. Rather than starting on low number of notes and moving to longer ones, I recommend to learn the motions first by playing long stacks of notes or streams with small spacing. Then learn how to follow the stream when you can click x without much thought.

As seen in this clip, you can see that he is using Click+X to stream. How do I know this? The click counter on the right side shows this. This user is however in the top 50 on osu, so of course he (or she) is experienced. I'd say just practice. You have learnt triples and 5 stacks. It wouldn't be imporssible

PeaChick is a former top 10 player who plays like that. Just practice and you'll be fine.

I have read all your comments guys and i appreciate your help. Only thing i need now is some maps that i can learn finger control. Can you link some?

Here is Ranefire's grand collection of stream maps. Download them, practice the low bpm ones (like 120 bpm) and that will best help develop good finger control. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... ring#gid=0

I use your play style, (only difference is I use / to singletap)

I can tell you, long streams will only come with practice.
