I've been playing Osu! for a week now, Just wanted to share my experience .
1st I want to say that im a mouse only player , i realise that harder maps will require me to use the keyboard and im working on it but at the moment im just used to the mouse (unfortunately).
At first i had no clue whatsoever , i just started to play one of the preloaded beatmaps, man was i overwhelmed, i just misclicked everything but i kept on it and slowly improved. On the same day i decided to watch some "tutorials" on youtube but ended up watching the world finals , now i was like wow those guys can really click fast.
. I downloaded some of the world final maps (yggdrasil?) and started practising, I improved but slowly.Eventually I saw some begginer tips in the forrums i used all the reccommended maps there , I gotta say they helped me a lot . Eventually the older maps which were hard for me got easier

I started to try and get the highest rating i could get (in easy/normal) in all the maps i had before moving on to a newer map. This way my accuracy increased , i was able to do some of the faster maps from worlds(still in easy / normal
). I also realised the default skin was very distracting for me so i picked up this cool skin by y36 too (http://puu.sh/9oOob.osk). its a pretty neat skin . I noticed a lot of difference. I also found that reducing the dimness of the background also helps in some maps.
Now im working on implementing the keyboard while playing
. also im working on starting some hard maps too.
