Yay, first mod so I will be helping with a few of the basic things while you work on finishing your difficulty spread.

First : the offset should be at 00:01:493 - with the same BPM that you have.
Second : the background needs to be rezised
Third : you should pick a few combo colors for your hitcircles that go along with your map
Fourth : disable widescreen support on hard. that should only be on if you have a storyboard on the mapset. a single image you do not need widescreen support on
Fifth : a slider velocity of 1.1 on a hard is somewhat low. think about increasing that to what suits the mapset
Sixth : a slider velocity of 1.4 on an insane is somewhat low also. think about increasing that to what suits the mapset

Hope all of this helps you out. It's a good song and can't wait until it is fully done. Good luck and remember #modhelp is always willing to help you with anything map related when you are online (if you want a mod, you should use #modreqs though)

Also, no one mapper can have more GD than maps you created. Since you created one map, you can have one person do a GD on normal and another on hard, but not the same person do both

Fifth : a slider velocity of 1.1 on a hard is somewhat low. think about increasing that to what suits the mapset I dunno about this the BPM is quite low so I think I'll keep it, unless more people complain about it
Sixth : a slider velocity of 1.4 on an insane is somewhat low also. think about increasing that to what suits the mapset ^

Thanks for the mod I didn't notice the offset change when I replaced the mp3. Thank you very much

It's not a problem. I want to take another look at the mapset after it is fully done but I don't know if I will be online when that happens. If I am not, there are other modders who can help you out.

Hitsound Mod request from my Modding Queue

osuu~ :)
Here is my mod as request :

Hitsound Mod
hmm this is quite troublesome.... since this has 0 hitsound at all ;w;
but its okay... i will give u a better and easy way to hitsound with less works.
SO FOLLOW the step carefully ^^

[Hitsound Mod]
  1. Download this and rename into normal-hitnormal.wav also, this , and rename this one into soft-hitnormal.wav , then put this 2 file inside your song folder..... then let's start the hitsounding....
  2. I use your insane dif as reference, so open it then follow the step....
    F6 > CTRL+A > select audio tab > and choose Custom1 >>> set the volume 66%
    click ok. and once again...
F6 > choose the S:C1 with 66% timing, and change the volume into 100%
    click ok.
DONE ^^ , check your hitsound, it sounds really amazing with less work and nothing to be worry bout orz
  3. also, 1 last suggestion, after finishing the step above.... u might want to FIND a silent hitsound called normal-sliderslide.wav , this can be found a lots in most of ranked beatmap you have.... and put it inside your folder.... ^^

That's it, im pretty much sure the beatmap will sounds whole lots better if u follow the step correctly.

Here as requested from modding queue.

Since this isn't a finish set I will give you the run through on how I think the map should be fixed. :)

  • It's missing a normal difficulty and you are going to need that or it will be in regulations of mapping rules
You should generally follow distance snap for easy difficulty so try it at 1.0 and maintain that throughout the whole map to keep it simple for beginners
Metadata wise I believe the title can be in romanji and the title isn't correct. Title is 暁のヨナAkatsuki no Yona and artist
Source is Yona of the Dawn or 暁のヨナ
Approach rate zero is a bit underwhelming so change it to 3 and it will fit your map better. Follow the plan I've set up above for all difficulties and it will make you a better mapper as you go through it with practice :)

Since this isn't a finish set I will give you the run through on how I think the map should be fixed. :)

  • It's missing a normal difficulty and you are going to need that or it will be in regulations of mapping rules Just got the GD for it!
You should generally follow distance snap for easy difficulty so try it at 1.0 and maintain that throughout the whole map to keep it simple for beginnersDone!
Metadata wise I believe the title can be in romanji and the title isn't correct. Title is 暁のヨナAkatsuki no Yona and artist
Source is Yona of the Dawn or 暁のヨナ Done!
Approach rate zero is a bit underwhelming so change it to 3 and it will fit your map better.Done! Follow the plan I've set up above for all difficulties and it will make you a better mapper as you go through it with practice :) One can only hope thank you very much for taking the time to look at the map!

Hi, I came to give this a mod, since you have solved my puzzle.

[General]

Check the AiMod, the source is Akatsuki no Yona in Easy and Akatsuki no yona in the rest of the diff. Also, there are a lot of unsnapped objects in Insane.

There is no Kiai in Easy, please use the Kiai's that you have used in all other diffs.

The last spinner in the diffs ends on different timing points (Easy and Normal have the same and Hard and Insane together have a different one), please allign them correctly.

|Timing:

Generally speaking, the offset and the BPM are okay, but you follow a wrong rhythm. The problem: You started counting one tick too early. That's why some objects are rhythmically falsely orientated (talking about the Easy difficulty because I saw it there), together with your understanding for..

|Hitsounds (Mainly in Insane):

In the Insane, you support the wrong objects with your hitsound placement. I guess that happened because of the error I have pointed out a bit earlier.
Examples for objects that should be further supported: 00:19:064 (2) - ; 00:22:493 (4) - ; 00:25:922 (4) - ; etc.
By changing the Offset to 1.921, you will probably come closer to understanding where the problem lies.
Next to that, I think that the hitsounds are a bit too loud in comparison to the song, I'd recommend to reduce the volume of those by ~50% (in sections at which you used 100% because that is something you don't regularly do).
The Hitsounds in Normal don't exist tbh. The hitnormal you have in the Hard and the Insane was not used, also Easy doesn't have that. Guess that the Hitsounds on Normal are still WIP. Then you should post this map in the forum's WIP-section for beatmaps.
Please silence the end of a spinner by using a green line on it's end and choosing a volume of 5%.
Only Insane uses the whistles in the beginning, why aren't they in the rest of the mapset?

|Combo colours:

Sometimes, you don't use a new combo after an object count of 10, sometimes you use a new combo for 2 objects. Orientate on beat snaps (4 or 8 white ticks, from the 1st big white tick to the 2nd or 4th) for your New Combo placement.

[Easy]

|00:22:064 (1) - This object is the first reason why I stated that I saw some rhythmical errors in this difficulty, as the main beat is on the slider tick whilst it should be on the beginning or the end of a slider. Similar Occurences: 00:15:207 (1) - 00:18:635 (1) - and so on.
|00:13:493 (1) - This spinner is not directly unrankable, but it's definitely too short for a difficulty like Easy. this is also connected to the false rhythmical understanding of the song, since it should rather begin at 00:12:206 - being the first tick of a new beat snap which would make the spinner long enough. You simply have to revisit the map with the new offset and use your objects under a new perspective.

Things to say about the object placement: It might be too difficult for new players to read overlaps like 00:23:350 (2,2,2) - and 00:48:207 (2,3,1,2) - . But I would wait for other remarks on that. Other than that, I guess the placement is pretty good.

[Normal]

I would not call this "indispensable" because it has no connection to the song in any way, also it sounds a bit.. Meh, can't explain that. Just call it "Prophecy's Normal".

|00:14:993 (1) - Nope. That's the definition of an unrankable ninja spinner. I recommend simply using nothing here and putting a circle on the end of the primal spinner. Also: 00:28:921 (1) -
|00:27:850 (7) - Doesn't make any sense, I can't see how it is related to the song.
|00:36:207 (4,5) - First, this is an evil overlap for a normal, second, Distance Snap should be used for at least the first two difficulties, which does not apply for this and probably some more patterns.

In order to explain the importance of Distance Snap, I'd like to draw your attention on this: 00:47:778 (1,2,3,4,5) - . Those circles have the same rhythmical/temporal distance between each note, yet they are spaced differently. Not only that this pattern doesn't look really nice, but it can also cause problems for players when reading the map. When Distance Snap is used, all circles have the same distance inbetween and it is clearly visible when objects are needed to be tapped. Please use Distance Snap over the whole difficulty to avoid any kind of instances like this.
Another example: How are players supposed to know when judging from the DS when to hit 01:14:778 (5,6,7) - when you had this pattern (00:03:635 (4,5,6) - ) with the same spacing but without the same rhythm? That's why it is confusing to make patterns without DS.

|01:05:135 (1,1) - Leave some more space for objects after a spinner, the should be some time for players to regenerate and come back to concentration after a spinner (normally, this issue is not too big, but it definitely is bad in a Normal).

[Hard]

|00:22:707 (4,5) - A rather bad looking pattern because the DS is altered or disabled for this one which should not be done. Use the same DS on Circle 3, 4 and 5 of that pattern, please.
This difficulty lacks some structure and has some weird slider directions, causing overlaps and not-flowing patterns (e.g.: 00:06:850 (4,5) - ), and I believe that you simply need some training and you will soon understand how to place objects. That's why I am not going into further detail with that issue.

[Insane]

|00:27:422 (4) - There is no new sound at the end of this slider, thus it has no connection to the song. You should use a circle instead of a slider.
|00:49:923 (3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - Hard to read because of the bad spacing, you could use DS to fix this.
Well, the main problem of this diff lies in the hitsounds, but I have been talking about that before.

All in all, I think that you need some more practise on mapping, but you will eventually become better, it mostly is like that.

Anyway, good luck.

Woah thanks for this, I didn't even realize i did so many things wrong, I will thoroughly go over it later in the night and apply it (I can't right now not at home). Working on it now reviewing rhythm considering hit sounds... this might take a while. Will finish applying mod next week

Hi, I came to give this a mod, since you have solved my puzzle.

[Normal]

I would not call this "indispensable" because it has no connection to the song in any way, also it sounds a bit.. Meh, can't explain that. Just call it "Prophecy's Normal". Fixed~

|00:14:993 (1) - Nope. That's the definition of an unrankable ninja spinner. I recommend simply using nothing here and putting a circle on the end of the primal spinner. Also: 00:28:921 (1) - Fixed~
|00:27:850 (7) - Doesn't make any sense, I can't see how it is related to the song. Fixed~
|00:36:207 (4,5) - First, this is an evil overlap for a normal, second, Distance Snap should be used for at least the first two difficulties, which does not apply for this and probably some more patterns. Fixed~

Fixed~
Another example: How are players supposed to know when judging from the DS when to hit 01:14:778 (5,6,7) - when you had this pattern (00:03:635 (4,5,6) - ) with the same spacing but without the same rhythm? That's why it is confusing to make patterns without DS. Fixed~

|01:05:135 (1,1) - Leave some more space for objects after a spinner, the should be some time for players to regenerate and come back to concentration after a spinner (normally, this issue is not too big, but it definitely is bad in a Normal). Fixed~

Anyway, good luck.
Thanks you~

Fixed.
You simply have to revisit the map with the new offset and use your objects under a new perspective.Very true. What a dumb mistake! Fixed.

Things to say about the object placement: It might be too difficult for new players to read overlaps like 00:23:350 (2,2,2) - and 00:48:207 (2,3,1,2) - . But I would wait for other remarks on that. Other than that, I guess the placement is pretty good.I thought stacks were very fun when I first started osu. But yes, more remarks on this would be helpful. Keeping unless further pointed out.

I think this beat map has 3/4 timing.

Normal
The biggest thing I can find is that the hitsounds are too loud and are overpowering. Please tone them down a bit. The Hard difficulty is fairly good where you can hear the hitsounds but they don't overwhelm the player with how loud they are.
