00:29:864 (2) - This one is inconsistent from the rest of the section, 00:31:412 (5), 00:36:057 (3), and 00:37:605 (6) for example. Removing the repeat should make it more consistent did something a bit different - made things all similar to the original slider
01:02:960 - Vocal starts here, add a circle here to follow the vocal better, something similar to what you did here 01:05:864 (3,4,1) fixed!
01:32:573 (2) - Same thing as Easy fixed!

I personally think some jumps are too hard for Hard this level. But then I don't know how recent Hards look like, I don't know what's allowed anymore hmm, i'll see what others say about it...i'm not used to anything under insane either rip ><
This is where my mod become super short because I don't know what to mod in harder difficulties, too much freedom
00:21:928 (2,3,4,5) - I find this jump too sudden. There aren't anything in music that suggests the increase either. Was caught off guard when I played it with DT decreased spacing, still slightly higher than its surroundings though
00:27:541 (1,2,3,4,5) - Just a small tip, slider is your friend when you're trying to make pretty maps
I'm probably just too ocd oh that's actually pretty neat - used it to tweak the spacing there!

  5. Add to tags: I wanna say that I'm not your brother right now! as an English source.

  2. 00:01:993 (2,3,6,7,1) - 1/2 rhythms here make me feel so bad, this is an Insane diff, it need being more difficult. I want to increase the distance among them, stacks aren't beautiful in this case

  1. I'm worried about your current usage of sliderticks. As stated in the Ranking criteria:
    Slider tick hitsounds are discouraged. If you want to use them, then make sure that their volume is balanced (i.e. notably quieter than regular hitsounds). A very loud slider tick, especially when only used once or twice, would be extremely jarring.
    Specifically, I speak of soft-sliderslide4, which has actually the same volume level of soft-hitclap4 and is a generally loud hitsound, so if you could lower down this sliderticks' volume a bit, you will be on a safer spot.
  2. It is good if you are setting the volume levels more appropriately to certain sections of a song. Take the following as an example:
    00:29:089 - Notice how the music tones down at this point compared to the previous section 00:13:605 - . Leaving both sections on the same volume level doesn't make much sense, so lowering the volume on the calm section about let's say ~30% makes it sound more appealing to the track.
    Think about it, I'm sure you can came up with an appropriate setting yourself. ;) And to ease up the process, you can copy the green lines between your diffs by using the hitsound copier: t/131540
    Also, you are using two different volume setups at the moment, so might be really good if you make usage of that tool to keep it consistent throughout your diffs.

    I'm leaving out hitsound mod for now since i'm unsure if you want to make it consistent between all diffs (HSing only Insane and then copying everything to the other diffs).
  3. So I saw a lot of discrepancies between your objects in your easier diffs, certainly caused by the usage of Grid Snap. It would be good if you could check it on every note again by clicking on the specific object and check it on the upper-right side of the editor, see the yellow numbers:
    Yes it's exhaustive work orz, I tried to find out the ones that were really obvious, but it's good if you can check yourself again.

  1. HP2 would be better, 3 is a bit over the top and the map has a moderate amount of objects for an easy diff already.
  2. 00:01:218 - Starting of a map with 0.45SV makes it extremely sluggish to play, even for easy dfifficulties. Adiitionally, you should refrain from having such big SV gaps at this stage since it will certainly confuse new players.
    I recommend you set the SV multiplicator at 0.9x here.
    Also, the whole intro misses hitsounds, setting whistles on strong beats (e-g strong piano notes) is advised.
  3. 00:16:702 (3) - NC
  4. 00:27:541 (2) - Spacing is confusing here since 00:27:541 (2,1) - are really close to each other. It would be good if you could space them out a bit more.
  5. 00:50:767 (1) - I'd use the following rhythm here since 00:52:315 - is a strong beat that should be played:
  6. 01:08:573 (2,1) - Watch your spacing here (and blanket it better :p)
  7. 01:39:541 (2) - Make this a slider to follow the beat at 01:39:928 - as well.

  3. 00:08:960 (3,1) - 1.5xDS spacing would be good.
    I feel the pace of this section is still really slow, please consider to use a higher SV multiplier here (~0.75x) so you don't surprise players too much after the spinner with double SV.
  4. 00:28:508 (1) - Unnecessary NC, delete.
  5. 00:33:540 (5) - 00:36:637 (4) - NC
  6. 00:41:863 - Comparing to 00:29:089 - , you start this section off with regular 1/1 beats while the other one starts with 1/2 rhythm patterns already, making your rhythm really inconsistent.

  1. Might consider to add 0.5 to the OD of this map.
  2. I am concerned about the spread between you Hard and Insane diff. The issue is that your Insane introduces long streams (also some higher-spaced ones) and triples and your hard diff only has one of them at the end.
    It's difficult to tell, since boosting up the hard with triples makes Normal-Hard spread bad/unrankable orz. Consult some BNs/QAT and ask them about the spread issue here. The star rating might not imply it, but this might be a real issue.
  3. 00:11:864 (1) - Switch this off with a circle and a slider starting at 00:12:057 - instead to be able to make a similar effect like in your hard diff.
  4. 00:12:444 (2,3,4) - Here, it is advisable that you NC all of these sliders as the SV changes are somewhat noticeable.
  5. 00:18:444 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - This will certainly cause a big spread issue between your Hard diff and Insane, as you never used an actual triple in the hard diff (that means three 1/4 circlebeats, not speaking of backsliders) and suddenly put in a long stream in the highest diff.
    Hard to tell if you could leave it as it is, it actually fits in well >< You could switch 00:19:025 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - this stream off with a 2x repeat + 1x repeat slider to ease it up.
  6. 01:30:444 (4) - Swap this off with 2 circles would be good , strong beat at 01:30:444 (4) - should be played too.

[General]
  1. I'm worried about your current usage of sliderticks. As stated in the Ranking criteria:
    Slider tick hitsounds are discouraged. If you want to use them, then make sure that their volume is balanced (i.e. notably quieter than regular hitsounds). A very loud slider tick, especially when only used once or twice, would be extremely jarring.
    Specifically, I speak of soft-sliderslide4, which has actually the same volume level of soft-hitclap4 and is a generally loud hitsound, so if you could lower down this sliderticks' volume a bit, you will be on a safer spot. Fixed, lowered them by maybe 20% or so. So that's what the previous mod was talking about, hue
  2. It is good if you are setting the volume levels more appropriately to certain sections of a song. Take the following as an example:
    00:29:089 - Notice how the music tones down at this point compared to the previous section 00:13:605 - . Leaving both sections on the same volume level doesn't make much sense, so lowering the volume on the calm section about let's say ~30% makes it sound more appealing to the track.
    Think about it, I'm sure you can came up with an appropriate setting yourself. ;) And to ease up the process, you can copy the green lines between your diffs by using the hitsound copier: t/131540
    Also, you are using two different volume setups at the moment, so might be really good if you make usage of that tool to keep it consistent throughout your diffs.
    I'm leaving out hitsound mod for now since i'm unsure if you want to make it consistent between all diffs (HSing only Insane and then copying everything to the other diffs).
    Added more volume variations, especially in the places you mentioned. Also, that program looks really useful, especially for keeping hitsounds consistent. But like you said, I feel like I should hitsound only Insane and then copy it to the other diffs, with the help of that program :3
  3. So I saw a lot of discrepancies between your objects in your easier diffs, certainly caused by the usage of Grid Snap. It would be good if you could check it on every note again by clicking on the specific object and check it on the upper-right side of the editor, see the yellow numbers:

  1. HP2 would be better, 3 is a bit over the top and the map has a moderate amount of objects for an easy diff already. done
  2. 00:01:218 - Starting of a map with 0.45SV makes it extremely sluggish to play, even for easy dfifficulties. Adiitionally, you should refrain from having such big SV gaps at this stage since it will certainly confuse new players.
    I recommend you set the SV multiplicator at 0.9x here.
    Also, the whole intro misses hitsounds, setting whistles on strong beats (e-g strong piano notes) is advised.

    Applied everything as mentioned.

    I feel the pace of this section is still really slow, please consider to use a higher SV multiplier here (~0.75x) so you don't surprise players too much after the spinner with double SV.
    Ended up remapping the intro with 0.75x sv instead.

  2. I am concerned about the spread between you Hard and Insane diff. The issue is that your Insane introduces long streams (also some higher-spaced ones) and triples and your hard diff only has one of them at the end.
    It's difficult to tell, since boosting up the hard with triples makes Normal-Hard spread bad/unrankable orz. Consult some BNs/QAT and ask them about the spread issue here. The star rating might not imply it, but this might be a real issue. oh boy >< ok i'll see what i can do
  3. 00:11:864 (1) - Switch this off with a circle and a slider starting at 00:12:057 - instead to be able to make a similar effect like in your hard diff.
  4. 00:12:444 (2,3,4) - Here, it is advisable that you NC all of these sliders as the SV changes are somewhat noticeable. lol ive been hearing mixed stories about this - some people tell me to remove it, some people tell me to add. rip, added. let's see what happens now~
  5. 00:18:444 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - This will certainly cause a big spread issue between your Hard diff and Insane, as you never used an actual triple in the hard diff (that means three 1/4 circlebeats, not speaking of backsliders) and suddenly put in a long stream in the highest diff.
    Hard to tell if you could leave it as it is, it actually fits in well >< You could switch 00:19:025 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - this stream off with a 2x repeat + 1x repeat slider to ease it up. i do like the repeat idea, and also it does seem like this stream is a bit too long. Not changing for now because I do like when these streams occur and since the music reflects them pretty well, I guess I'll go ask others about the difficulty spread issue...
  6. 01:30:444 (4) - Swap this off with 2 circles would be good , strong beat at 01:30:444 (4) - should be played too. seemed kinda awkward at first, but I guess it does play well. fixed~

There's a huge gap between Hard diff between Insane diff.Lemme explain the reason :3 Hard diff have 2.98 stars while Insane diff have 4.07 stars D: I suggest to simplify the Insane diff

Looks like its time to get rid of some of those streams and decrease some of those jumps...I was hoping the difficulty gap wasn't that noticeable, oh well.

I'll see what I can do here. Thanks for the heads-up, and confirmation of what Pho thought!

  1. 00:10:121 (4) - Wouldn't it make more sense for this to be stacked under previous slider
  2. 00:12:057 (2,1,1,1) - Why don't you use copy+paste then rotate the sliders around so they are the same direction
  3. 00:21:928 (2) - Fix blanket
  4. 00:27:541 (1,2,3,4) - This isn't straight
  5. 00:41:283 (4) - I'd recommend either stacking this or moving it away from the slider
  6. 00:58:896 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - Jumps are a bit far for the tempo of this map
  7. 01:11:864 (1,2,3) - Make this a 1/2 slider with reverse
  8. 01:27:347 (2) - This may be a bit hard to read
  9. 01:20:767 (2) - Maybe stack on 01:19:605 (4) -

  1. 00:58:508 (1) - Stack
  2. Overall the map is very easy, considering star rating. I'd recommend beefing up the difficulty on this.

Most of it was very well mapped, not too many flaws I could pick out, especially with Easy and Normal.

You can't and should NEVER determine spread issue just by looking at the star rating. Besides, a difference of ~1 star diff is actually pretty good.

The issue was because Hard only had one triple while the Insane had a moderate amount of triples and also streams in it. The spread was fine already since Hard had a few triples and a ministream added, now i kind of miss that long stream i pointed out red before in the Insane (current solution works too btw)

rip okay star ratings aren't to be trusted lol, I'll make sure to keep that in mind~

I'm hoping my current fixes are good enough to kinda balance out the Hard-Insane difficultly gap, although I'm now slightly worried about Normal-Hard's difficulty gap. I miss the streams too, they were fun :o
