This diff lacks pattern consistency, learn some from Pharos' diffs. Mapping in mania is different from std. Play more specific mania maps, not converted maps and you'll notice the difference.

That's all i found.
That many triplets for only 2.50 star diff, i understand the struggle, mate! :cry: i tried and only got 3.40 for MX. This song hardly have 1/4th beat, let alone 1/8th

General

  1. soft-hitnormal.wav starts 3 ms too late, and I recommend you to remove that delay. (3 ms can mean quite a bit)
  2. The normal is 2.01 stars, and that makes the set as a whole unrankable. I notice quite a difference between the normal and the hard so my advice would be to make the normal a little harder and add an easy (I know that sounds as a lot of work though)

  1. The first thing I noticed when playing, is these of 1/2 and the slider-ends/-returns which end on strong beats. Will try to point them out
  2. I see a lot of repetitive patterns, which make it less interesting to play D:
  3. I think some general advice will work out better :)
  1. 00:02:942 (1) - This is completely overmapped. Please do not do this, the slider represents literally nothing in the music :( . I highly recommend removing it. You can, however, make a triple on this circle 00:03:505 (4) -
  2. 00:05:192 (2,3) - You could emphasize the trumpet in the background by mapping the last two red ticks of the bar, instead of placing return sliders. You use a lot of patterns which do not fit the song (either repetitive, offbeat sliders or spamming circles). 00:06:505 (1,2,3,4,5) - This seems out of place for example. Sure, there are 1/2 sounds in the background, but you are not mapping to the song. I think you know how to do this because the kiai was pretty fine actually.
  3. 00:10:255 (3,4,1) - This is very confusing, the gap between the first 2 objects is 1/2 while the next gap is 1/1. Place the last slider or the circle further away from the the slider.
  4. 00:14:005 (1,2,3) - I don't recommend using finishes on the slider end, they are strong hitsounds and should be tapped, not used as a slider-end. 2 circles instead of a slider would fit a lot better by the way

  6. 00:20:567 (2) - Something like a return slider followed by a circle would work out better. Also hitsound the bass kick on the white tick
  7. 00:28:630 (5) - I recommend using a 1/2 slider followed by e.g. a 1/1 slider, that way you can map the downbeat instead of using a return slider, and that feels way more natural.
  8. 00:29:755 (1) - Use a circle on the red tick? This way you'll be mapping more accurately to the vocals
  9. 00:40:255 (5) - I don't see why you are using a slider here. Something like 4 circles would be better to represent the drums in the background or you can map the vocals as well.
  10. 00:45:130 (3) - Remove return and add a circle
  11. 00:47:192 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4) - This patterns isn't bad, but again, it feels out of place. Map the vocals and save this for other parts in the music where it does fit (like volume-increasing snares or something)
  12. 00:53:005 (1,1,1) - Same as 00:14:005 (1,2,3) -
  13. 01:01:161 (2,3) - overlap looks bad, because it's very slight. I recommend lowering the spacing here because this can also be tricky to play and doesn't fit with the rest of the map. Same with the similar patterns in this map
  14. 01:11:005 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - I think it's obvious here. Just map the vocals. Use sliders, other patterns than this one. This would work out a lot better for example http://puu.sh/ho98l/03caf929b5.jpg
  15. 01:17:005 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - This whole pattern is kinda strange
  16. 01:20:567 (1,2) - Remove the first slider, add a circle and make the next slider a return slider starting one rick earlier. This is waaay better to represent the drum you are mapping to
I'm sorry, the rest of the map has similar problems, every diff actually, and I don't feel like pointing everything out, since it's really exhausting. There is still some basic stuff that needs to be cleaned. Take an example of -Famous-'s Hard if you want to know how to map the variety of rhythms in the song. He did a good job on it :) . I'm not trying to be offensive, but I'm telling what I think, and I hope you understand that. :D

Good luck with the mapset, don't give up yet because mods can do a lot of things

I'm sorry, the rest of the map has similar problems, every diff actually, and I don't feel like pointing everything out, since it's really exhausting. There is still some basic stuff that needs to be cleaned. Take an example of -Famous-'s Hard if you want to know how to map the variety of rhythms in the song. He did a good job on it :) . I'm not trying to be offensive, but I'm telling what I think, and I hope you understand that. :D I do,don't worry. XD

From my queue. I've mapped this before so I might be pretty biased with my own view of this song.

I guess I will just mod the highest difficulty as it does seem that there are many that I could say.

General Impressions: I don't particularly like many slider shapes. Too much straight sliders and some does not play well.

00:01:442 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - As it does not impact the following spacing, guess it would be nice to center both 3s here.
00:03:505 (3,4,5,6) - The flow here does not play well. Imagine jumping from the mid-point of 3 into 4 (which is at least how I would play this), then then player is forced to take a pretty weird turn to match the direction of 4, which does not feel great. It is certainly playable but it does not feel right. Seems that I will have to "expand" out to finish these sliders with does not match the feel of the drum beats or notes here.
00:05:567 (4) - same here. The turn from 3 to 4 is a bit awkward. I will consider a curved slider.
00:08:380 (2,3) - Again similar problems. This always does not look nice.
00:09:505 (1,2,3) - I will make the spacing more consistent. I know you are using same ds here but visually it's inconsistent.
00:11:380 (2,4) - I would stack them. Overlap is ugly.
00:12:880 (3) - reduce curvature
00:13:255 (4,6) - fix overlap
00:14:005 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - I would increase the spacing a bit
00:16:630 (6,7,1) - awkward flow. If you connect 7 and 1 you will notice that the straight line does not transition well into the curve of 1

00:40:067 (6,7) - I get what you are trying to do here. But the spacing is awkward and my first reaction is a spacing error. Either reduce ds between 6 and 7 to 0.5ish or just make spacing consistent. I will not prefer a jump into 8 though. Also overlap with 9
00:47:192 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Such jumps a weird for this song. Just opinion here.
00:55:630 (6,7,1) - I feel 1 should be moved up to make the layout consistent
00:56:567 (4,1) - I will stack 1 and 4, creating the antijump that matches the stop in the music.
00:57:317 (3) - curved slider fits the vocal better
00:59:567 (4) - ^ also shape is weird against 3
01:00:880 (1,2,3) - I personally hate such patterns with straight sliders and sharp turn of direction. Make it smoother.
01:02:380 (3,4) - the flow into 4 is weird too. Why not trying some triangle jumps? Something like this. You don't have to keep linear flow all the time...
01:05:192 (2,3) - flow..
01:10:067 (6) - there's a pretty obvious note at the end of the slider, and slider end usually fail to emphasize these sounds.
01:12:880 (2,3,4) - hate such shapes... at least make the spacing consistent
01:17:005 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - well...make it more like a square if you want a square
01:20:755 (5,6) - inconsistent spacing and ugly overlap

Well I guess I will stop here... Honestly I feel that a remap will be better in such situations. But your call. Pay more attention to flow, keep slider leniency (that fact that you could always leave a slider about a circle-size earlier) in mind.

This section has a few things you should note: There are 4 main sounds: the snare drum, the kick drum, the trumpet and the guitar. For an NM+ diff, your main choice of instruments should be the two drums. To keep consistency, if you ever decided to map to a trumpet sound, you need to do it for the entire section, and not just when you feel like it. I'm going to go through the entire section and comment on every part I see. Hopefully you can see where I'm going with this :D

00:05:192 (5192|2) - There is no drum sound here
00:05:380 (5380|1) - Should add a note here since the snare drum has a strong sound and audio impact compared to a trumpet
00:05:567 (5567|3) - Likewise, you should remove >both notes from this because the trumpet is NOT stronger than the snare, and for consistency of an NM diff you should not map to too many sounds (leave that for HD/MX)
00:05:755 (5755|1) - Add a note for the bass drum. Aside from really fast fills, you should map to all the standard 1/4 beat sounds in the section
00:06:505 (6505|0,6505|3) - You should only keep this to a specific number of notes for consistency. I'd suggest one note for several reasons: it's NM and you need to differentiate between the notes given to a snare drum and a bass drum
00:06:880 (6880|1) - Add a note for the snare
00:06:692 (6692|2,7067|0) - You should remove both these notes. I know that you're mapping to the trumpet sound here, and that's good, BUT -> you don't map to the trumpet anywhere else really, and it hinders the player feedback when they play through the song. For example, there's an unmapped trumpet sound at 00:07:848 and at 00:08:598.
00:08:005 (8005|3) - Remove one note for bass drum consistency
00:08:192 (8192|2) - Remove note as there's no sound here
00:09:505 (9505|2,9505|3) - Remove one note for bass drum consistency
00:10:067 (10067|2) - Add a note here to either 2 or 4 for the bass drum
00:10:255 (10255|1) - Same as earlier, you should remove this note because you haven't mapped to the trumpet anywhere else.
00:10:442 (10442|2) - Add note for bass drum
00:10:630 (10630|0) - Add note for snare drum (total of 2)

I think that a factor that differs from standard osu! and osu!mania is choosing what to map to. In my opinion, osu!mania requires more consistency and attention to background instruments while standard mode has more flexbility in choosing the instrument. Of course, I'm an amateur at standard, so this is just my perspective. Moving on:

00:17:380 (17380|3) - Later on in the song, you used 2 notes for a snare (which is good), and there's no reason not to do it here too.
00:18:130 (18130|2) - Same as above
00:18:880 (18880|3) - This is good, there's a differentiation between the kick drum and the snare. From here, you used 2 notes on the snare, so you should fix this section by going back and seeing where you put only 1 note instead of 2.
00:21:130 (21130|2) - (missing snare drum note)
00:21:880 (21880|0) - ^
00:22:630 (22630|1) - ^
00:23:380 (23380|3) - ^
00:24:130 (24130|2) - ^
00:24:880 (24880|0) - ^
00:25:630 (25630|1) - ^

For the next section:
Again, you need to keep consistency for specific sections. The reason why I'm so hardcore for this stuff, is that the purpose of the EZ/NM difficulties is for new players to learn and practice. With this being said, it's vital to keep a steady beat and rhythm for sections of the song so as to not trip up a new player who might not hear the quiet guitar or piano chord in the background. That's where the harder HD and MX difficulties come in when all the crazy fills are done.

00:41:192 (41192|1) - Missed drumbeat
00:41:755 (41755|1) - ^

00:43:442 (43442|2) - ^
00:41:567 (41567|0) - I'm not quite sure what sound this is mapped to. It's not a drum, nor is it the vocal. It sounds like the guitar, but the next note at 00:43:067 (43067|3) is mapped to a piano?
00:45:880 (45880|1,46255|1) - You should remove these two notes because they're not mapped to a strong sound. They are mapped to the hihat (or cymbal, whichever word you prefer), but not at any other point in time for that section of the song. Since they're out of place, you should remove them for consistency.
00:46:817 (46817|2) - ^
00:47:192 (47192|2) - Missed drumbeat

Chorus:
00:56:567 (56567|2) - Missed drumbeat
00:56:755 (56755|1) - There's no strong sound here that need a note

In general this beatmap's been vastly improved, but there's still more work to be done. After some editing, you might feel like mapping to every single beat in the song might be repetitive, but that's exactly what it is - osu!mania almost always maps to every beat in the song, with slightly less flexbility than standard. So while you may want to suddenly switch it up to the trumpet that comes up, without consistency throws off the player.

But then again, keep in mind that these are just my thoughts and I'm 100% sure someone else has a different opinion.
