Higanbana no Saku Yori ni

Story
Higanbana no Saku Yoru ni takes place in an unnamed school setting and is composed of numerous self-contained short stories, each told from the perspective of a student or staff member from the school. These stories feature bullying as a major overlying theme, as each story's protagonist is depicted as being either a victim of bullying or a bully themselves. Higanbana revolves around a series of urban legends caused by supernatural beings called youkai, each of which claims ownership of a particular "mystery" and kills anyone who tries to investigate it. There are a total of seven "mysteries" at the start of the series, with numerous youkai fighting each other in an ongoing turf war for ownership of these mysteries, which is granted to the seven yōkai who emerge victorious in the conflict. The stories' protagonists interact with at least one of the school's resident youkai, who force the protagonists to deal with the consequences of their actions regarding bullying.

dai produces anything from calm piano pieces like hope to energetic explosions of goodness that is Final Answer and anything inbetween. They're a 2-member-circle also going by M.Graveyard or just MGraveyard and primarily use the piano.

Dude's been making rhythm game songs for well over a decade and it shows, all their contributions to the WTC universe were complex songs with peak osu!-energy.

Gurasan Neko

Not sure if I romanised this artist correctly, they are probably most famous for making lixAxil because the LC map for that song is god-tier. I listed them as Kitaouji Mizuki in the whole song listing because that's their irl name.

This is the point where I would like to thank this guy for not only making so much awesome music, but also for being such a gigantic troll. The ways they named their songs did not only confuse me, but also native Japanese which ended up telling me that the guy might have used Chinese for his song titles. Thanks for songs like

zts has stopped being human long ago, instead they ascended to a higher being beyond that, a god, because that's exactly what they are. I have nothing else to add about this artist except that their circle is called Code Zts Label which is shortened to CZL. Apparently they bring awesome music to the world since 1997.

xaki
xaki. xaki. xaki. She's also a very nice artist and has produced quite a lot stuff together with Roundbooster Architexture. She's probably very well known for pruducing rog-limitation/rog-unlimitation - I mean who hasn't raged at AHO's map yet???
I would encounter the following problem when mapping one of her songs: χακι, さき or サキ? According to her site all are possible while i would tend to サキ bekause that's how she calls herself on Twitter, i think.
You also know that she's pretty badass because her homepage is literally just one page with all of her discograpthy since 1991...!

pre-holder
pre-holder is really good at creating an atmosphere fitting for the most creepy parts of any novel, I'm sure about that. Due to the nature of most of their songs they should be really hard to map. Oh and yes this guy is apparently part of the circle Kakikukeko (かきくけこ) - the name itself seems to be a bit of a troll but whatever.

Information for Mappers & Afterword

Ok so getting all the data together and sorting and all that Stuff took me about 2 weeks total where I would do just not much besides trying to confirm Metadata with several people who are able to speak Japanese better than I do. Due to that fact some of the Metadata in here might not be 100% accurate so I'd advise you ask either me to recheck it today, or some Japanese person.

As you might see by the length of this post and the dedication to this project I am indeed quite a fan of this, I do own all 3 games I write about in here but sadly only the Higurashi one has no Musicroom and no original music because Mangagamer had to cut it and replace like 40% of the Audiofiles with "their" version due to legal reasons with Japanese and international law as far as I know.

So yes they took the musicroom out there and I currently have no means to get my hands on a copy with one so I don't know if the first post is going to be as it is for all eternity or not.

Information for people who actually want to map something from this project

Yes I would totally love to make you any kind of diff for your set as long as it's standard and going for rank (and you're willing to wait a certain time because I have been quite busy with almost everything).

The actual files in the game are .ogg which is not supported by osu! anymore and thus deemed unrankable, but well once you have the original .ogg files it's just a small step from there to a 192 kb/s .mp3. If you just ask me I can give you a .mp3 within a few minutes, I can also give you the .ogg if you want to reencode it yourself.

I would also roughly check your Metadata and probably be able to give you some additional tags rather quickly if you should have missed one due to the fact that i looked at the sources for all these songs for 2 damn weeks.

If you should spot any Metadata in here which is incorrect please do tell me so I can make this post as accurate is humanely possible! Also if you have any ideas of things I could add to this, suggest me some things. If you think you found a fan/whatever album and it should be featured here, just post your source and I will happily add it. If you have a banner or something to add, sure, just message me.

If you are mapping one of the songs from this, please let me feature it in the respective part of this project as a pending/wip set.

Quite a few sections of this thing are still WIP but i will hopefully get rid of that soon.
