[resolved] Having audio latency problems with an USB headset.

Hey guys,

I just got this Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma USB headset and I think I'm having some audio latency problems when playing osu!. I used to play with analog headphones before having this one.

The thing is, that I'm getting way too many 100s because of this, and It's really pissing me off.

I'd like to see if anyone else is experiencing this problem aswell. Or maybe, if anyone could help me solve this, I would really appreciate it.

P.S: My UO was like -7 before, and it was perfect.

Is it consistently late? If so, adjust your universal offset to suit new equipment?

Yes, it is. I've tried.

Even using peppy's Offset wizard doesn't make much difference.

Does it have surround sound?

Disable the surround sound and it should resolve the issue

Our brain literally decide direction of sound by the slight delays it reaches each ear.
Hence why 'surround' headsets (or speakers for that matter) are not a good idea for a rythm game like osu!,
as they literally trick our brain into thinking the sound has a specific position relative to the user by addiung delay.
