tbh using 175bpm from the beginning makes sense. the same melody as when you begin the 175bpm thing is playing there, it's just that there's no drum beat and it's ~atmospheric~. https://osu.ppy.sh/s/354792 is like the same. i assume you know how to get sub .5x sv

so you're following the basic white tick drum beat starting from the beginning, then you switch to that other instrument starting at 00:30:588 (1) - . there's no real musical cue to switch so i'm not really getting it. if anything it would make sense to follow that non-white-tick instrument starting from the beginning, since that's what you follow at the end too
01:53:049 (1,2) - that instrument thing is prioritizing white ticks here so this red tick stuff isn't all that fitting. 00:36:245 (1,2,3) - does it right
00:32:645 (3,2) - 01:12:935 (3,2) - super minor but getting rid of the overlapz = cleaner. works well since the rest of the diff is p clean

while it's rankable, constant 1/1 spam is pretty frowned upon on easies since it's like there's no break points. including 2/1 sliders or 2/1 gaps is the way to avoid that. in the end it works though, so it's up to you

The music is much less intense than in the following sections, so there shouldn't be the hardest pattern in the whole map at this point. Sure, a circlejump pattern belongs here, but the distances shouldn't be that big for the reason I just mentioned.
Also, since the instrument you are following is the same all the time, the distances should be relatively equal all the time, too. Therefore 01:00:588 (1,2,3,4) - these antijumps don't really make sense.
01:03:330 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - This definitely needs to be toned down, 1/4-kicksliders still play much harder than 1/2-circles so this part of the pattern feels even more exaggerated than the rest.

01:25:278 (1,2,3,4) - There is no way to guess that these just have 1/4-gaps in between them. They look like single-repeats at the moment, because the spacing is visually similar to 1/2-spacing used before. I'd recommend you to use a lower spacing so that is more clear.

01:03:330 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - This definitely needs to be toned down, 1/4-kicksliders still play much harder than 1/2-circles so this part of the pattern feels even more exaggerated than the rest. nah, i would rather make the kiai harder, which is a bit troublesome because of the way i lead from one pattern into the next one~. also i personally dont think that slider jumps are really that much harder than circle jumps as long the flow stays the same for all kickslider-jumps which is the case here. i tried to nerf the spacing by reducing the turn angle which worsened the flow making it actually harder

(These are done much better 01:47:221 (1,2,3,4) - ) i get the "issue". but even if i singletap them similiar to an 1/2-lengthened-slider i almost never get 100's. then while playing the first one, you already know that these are 1/4-jumps. also think that reading issues getting less problematic the shorter a map is. it should get even more difficult to create more different scores
removing the old timing point led to random 1ms-snapping issues in all diffs. i took the the right to fix them on my own

and so on..



Yeah, basically I think the Easy needs some work to become high-quality. I also think the patterns in Extra that I mentioned are serious issues, oh well, your decision after all.

Yeah, basically I think the Easy needs some work to become high-quality. I don't really map anything at the moment, so getting some experience except from modding etc. is hard lol I also think the patterns in Extra that I mentioned are serious issues, oh well, your decision after all Imo these jumps are not too huge at all, and these anti-jumps also fit very well. I just don't like the way he placed the kicksliders, but I'm really strange anyway when it comes to pattern or however I should call it.

As I said, 1/2-sliders CAN be fine in Easy, it depends on how they are used and on the general setting of the difficulty. They definitely don't work well together with low Slider Velocity and Spacing, because they look cramped. From what I have experienced, the newbies will be confused after playing sliders like that, so if they really need to be used in a low SV Easy like this, they should be used with enough of recovery time after, which means ATLEAST 2/1 of a gap.

Also, the rest of the diffs looked fine for me, I just wanted to point some things out (so yeah, I'm done modding at this point).

i asked multiple people for testplays about these jumps now and after i increased the ds of the section before and afterwards i think there shouldnt be any issues with them anymore.
for the 1/4-spaced repeats i can say that they are fine as they are since the people ive asked werent even considering that these could be anything else but 4/4-repeats. apparently it is even visibly indicated by the followpoints (otherwise both tracks of the followpoints would be perfectly stacked)

  6. 01:04:360 (7,8) - these last 2 ones feel like you ran a bit out of space where stuff looks like a clean pattern and just did "something" dunno maybe maybe you get what i mean or not

I like the beatmap but the sudden addition of different hit sounds at the end is sooo distracting, I'd find it alot better if they all made the symbol noises.
