Time to check out some Hard and Insane

Hard

00:27:432 (4,5,6,1) - the flow for 00:27:783 (5,6) from the slider if fine, but then moving to 00:28:135 (1) which then goes to 00:28:369 (2) isn't very good, the fluidity is not there
00:29:072 (3) - curve it the other way, have the curve not face the previous slider
00:44:305 (1,2,3,4) - you should a better pattern here rather than this
00:45:243 - why not have a note here, it's more fitting to end the phrase with an object
01:37:504 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - fine tune this blanket, the curves don't go around quite exactly to blanket the other heads
01:41:488 (2,4) - ^
02:14:298 (4) - end this slider at 02:14:767 and have another slider from 02:14:884 to 02:15:001 for greater effect of that part in the music
02:22:735 (1,2) - blanket here can be improved
02:30:235 (1,2,3) - make both sliders equally distanced from the circle center, they aren't at the moment, and the blankets are imperfect
02:45:233 (1) - use the soft addition for the start of the slider, soft finish suits this better
02:58:357 (2) - shift this lower so that 02:58:592 (3) can stack on the other slider head while keeping the proper spacing you're using
03:03:044 (1,2,3) - unstack would be nice
03:06:794 (1,2,3) - ^
03:07:732 (1,2,3) - why the change in spacing as compared to the rest? I feel it's the same as before
03:09:372 (4,5,6,7) - use a nicer pattern
03:10:544 (1,2,3) - unstack
03:11:481 (1,2,3) - same as 03:07:732 (1,2,3)
03:14:294 (1,2,3) - unstack

I feel the rhythm of 00:16:183 (1,2,3) is used too much in the starting, I just think it needs more variety, it looked mostly the same throughout, with curved sliders and a circle in between. Placement and positioning can be improved, patterns could look nicer

Insane

I don't think keeping spacing constant throughout helps with the presentation of this Insane, it kinda makes it look quite cramp and it limits impact of some parts and hence making it lack more om-pf, the excitement
Don't use drum hitsounds all the way, make use of all the hitsound sets and make more emphasis with hitsounds

It doesn't feel that great, I think a lot of work needs to be done for this, the spacing needs to be changed and used better for Insane, pattern-wise it needs to be better as well.

Overall I felt the set wasn't really presented well, structure needs work on and the hitsounds were very empty, use more variation and expand to more than just the drum sounds.

Yeah, probably. I'm gonna redo the hitsounds on all my diffs and remap Hard and Insane. The spacing on the Insane really is bad and both diffs just feel awful when compared to other maps (not only ranked ones, also others that I did).

Updated.

Sorry for taking so long, I just can't find any motivation for this mapset right now. I wanna practice mapping more before actually continuing to work on this, because if I don't, I'll probably make something that I'm not happy with and want to remap it again. I'll hopefully get back to this soon. :o

I hope this mod can help you. If it sounds offending, it wasn't intended to be :?

General:
You are using the standard sound samples, which is no problem, but you use Drum sample in the beginning, yet make hitsounds with soft sampleset using additions? I think this is a really messy way of making sounds, because I have had the experience that sounds can be changed accidentally really quickly. Smaller portions of this are ok like the end of your first parts (with the finish sound). But for the rest it is reccomended to build in inherited timing sections with soft sound.
Suggestion: I actually found the Normal sampleset more fitting than the drum sampleset for all the parts you used drum, because the "normal" hit of drum sounds very dull in my ears, especially the drum clapsound. :o If you still want to use the drum finish or what so ever, you can add them as custom sounds.

Easy:
00:18:526 (4) - change x: 368
00:27:432 (2) - at x:360 y:156
--> 00:28:369 (3) - at x:220 y:292 and (4) at x:124 y:272
The first half of your kiai is hitsounded a bit weird to me. You used finish, finish, clap finish and then suddenly blank, finish, clap. And you did this for the whole first half, while in the second half you used clap and finish alternatingly (which sounds better). The first pattern sounds strange, because it doesn't emphasize anything of the song. I guess it should create its own rhythm, but it doesn't fit. :(

Normal:
00:41:493 (1,2) - remove overlap
01:02:820 (3,1) - ^
01:33:052 (1) - actually the one before was really nice with whistle! you can add one here too, if you want
01:38:676 (3,4) - this is confusing in normal with such a pace (02:20:392 (3,1) this again is ok, because the Slider velocity is higher)
According to DS beats need to be further in kiai away due to Slider velocity, but that would be too hard for normal
02:53:436 (3,4) - remove overlap
Good beat flow.

Hard:
This has really good flow.

Insane:
The jumps are good and fun~
02:14:766 (10) - not sure if 1.5 velocity is allowed, because jump from 1.1 to suddenly 1.5 is too extreme?
02:17:344 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - out of curiousity, can you play these? I had serious problems (Like I couldn't play these :o orz ) and i doubt many will be able to be, especially because the turns are really sharp. Can you reduce the distance of these? In case you can play these, wow, I guess keep them?
02:18:985 (1) - try adding one more anchor point so this can be more round

[General]
  1. Good diffspread. I was expecting Insane to be harder than it was, though I have no idea why since the song isn't really that fast :P
  2. 15 second breaks like 01:45:246 - are kinda lame. Also, the drums are interesting.
[Insane]
  1. Looks a bit unstructured at times. Basically that the patterns don't really work with each other much. For example 00:15:247 (1,4) - , or 00:25:793 (6,2) - , where (2) could've just been stacked with (6), 00:38:098 (2,3) - don't actually flow into each other that well, as the (2) is pointing downwards, while the (3)'s curve is upward-facing etc.
  2. You use a few 1/2 sliders such as 00:33:997 (1,2) - in the beginning, but I kinda miss that extra beat between them at 00:34:348 - , since the main melody clearly has a tone there.
  3. Also something you can take into consideration when you map in the future, is making the spacing relate to the song. ie. 00:29:543 (4,5,6) - could have (5,6) closer together to follow how the melody is going high for (5), but low for (6) (so (4,5) having a bigger gap than (5,6) feels nice.)
  4. 00:44:778 (5) - Extend to 00:45:129 - ? :P
  5. 1/2's such as 01:02:825 (5,6) - or 01:08:450 (3,4,5,6) - feel a bit excessive. There's this constant beat in the background, but since your sliders are mainly following the vocals, they're kinda overmappy. For 01:02:825 (5,6) - , you could easily just change (5) to a 1/1 slider, and add a note at 01:03:528 - or something, and 01:08:450 (3,4,5,6) - sounds better as 2 1/1 sliders imo.
  6. There's a pretty interesting rhythm kicking in at 01:15:246 - , and it's a bit of a shame you're sticking to the vocals instead.
  7. 01:45:246 - Add a note? No idea why you stop before it. Make a delayed break if you insist on not having a note here.
  8. The structure at 02:07:747 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - looks really random. The spacing change between (2,3) looks more like a spacing error because they all lie in a curve of sorts, and the difference isn't huge, and the (5,6) and (7,8) just feels too close considering the song is building up the intensity.
  9. 02:14:778 (10) - I'd change this to a 1/4 slider and adding a note at 02:15:012 - , so you get both come and on ;)
  10. 02:17:356 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - These are awesome.
  11. 02:43:372 (1,2,3,4) - Antijumps don't really fit here as the music is the same as the previous sections where you have much higher spacing.
[Hard]
  1. Some of the comments on insane probably apply here as well, such as how notes sometimes don't really work well with each other aesthetically.
  2. 01:06:574 (4) - and 01:09:856 (1) - I dunno, they work, but they just feel awkward to hit.
  3. 01:08:684 (2,3,4) - Same as in Insane, the 1/2 sound a bit excessive for this part of the song.
  4. 01:11:496 (3) - shorten to 1/2 to follow vocals? :P
  5. Something you can try to make nicer are some of the curves on sliders such as 01:21:340 (6) - and 01:28:371 (5) - . You can see how the curve is a bit sharper on one side of the curve.
  6. 02:24:621 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - The other patterns you made groups of 2 notes, which works really well with the rhythm, but the (3,4,5) here is a bit blah.
[Amethyst's Normal]
  1. 00:41:496 (5) - New combo. Also are you missing a clap on sliderend?
  2. Are the whistles on 01:18:059 (1) - 01:39:621 (5) - and 01:43:371 (4) - intentional? Because they sound a bit arbitrarily placed.
  3. Nothing much I have to say for this. It's a pretty good Normal.
[Easy]
  1. Are 01:00:246 (1,2) - intentionally not symmetrical horizontally? It's really noticeable since the sliders stay on screen for almost 10 seconds :p
  2. You can work on some of your curves here too, such as 01:41:496 (1) - and 02:48:996 (1) -.
  3. 02:50:871 (2) - Rotate this so it's pointing to the left?
  4. Nothing much here either. It's a good Easy, and it also has cleaner patterns overall than Hard and Insane, which is nice.
Overall it's a decent mapset, but there's still a lot of potential, so I wouldn't rush to find BNs for bubbling purposes (poking them for general mods to improve your mapset is a good idea though!). Hopefully some of the things I've pointed out will help you improve either this or your future maps, and good luck!

Also wtf I need to stop spending over an hour on a testplay and writing a semi-mod.

  1. Good diffspread. I was expecting Insane to be harder than it was, though I have no idea why since the song isn't really that fast :P
  2. 15 second breaks like 01:45:246 - are kinda lame. Also, the drums are interesting. - I'm gonna wait for other modders' opinions on this

  1. Looks a bit unstructured at times. Basically that the patterns don't really work with each other much. For example 00:15:247 (1,4) - , or 00:25:793 (6,2) - , where (2) could've just been stacked with (6), 00:38:098 (2,3) - don't actually flow into each other that well, as the (2) is pointing downwards, while the (3)'s curve is upward-facing etc. - I'll see what I can do
  2. You use a few 1/2 sliders such as 00:33:997 (1,2) - in the beginning, but I kinda miss that extra beat between them at 00:34:348 - , since the main melody clearly has a tone there. - that extra beat is almost everywhere during that part, so if I always mapped to it it would just end up being a total mess
  3. Also something you can take into consideration when you map in the future, is making the spacing relate to the song. ie. 00:29:543 (4,5,6) - could have (5,6) closer together to follow how the melody is going high for (5), but low for (6) (so (4,5) having a bigger gap than (5,6) feels nice.) - I'll pay attention to that, thanks!
  4. 00:44:778 (5) - Extend to 00:45:129 - ? :P - added a note

There's this constant beat in the background, but since your sliders are mainly following the vocals, they're kinda overmappy. For 01:02:825 (5,6) - , you could easily just change (5) to a 1/1 slider, and add a note at 01:03:528 - or something, and 01:08:450 (3,4,5,6) - sounds better as 2 1/1 sliders imo. - fixed
  6. There's a pretty interesting rhythm kicking in at 01:15:246 - , and it's a bit of a shame you're sticking to the vocals instead.
  7. 01:45:246 - Add a note? No idea why you stop before it. Make a delayed break if you insist on not having a note here. - fixed (too many people have been pointing this out, I give up :p)
  8. The structure at 02:07:747 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - looks really random. The spacing change between (2,3) looks more like a spacing error because they all lie in a curve of sorts, and the difference isn't huge, and the (5,6) and (7,8) just feels too close considering the song is building up the intensity. - I made the difference bigger, but it seems fine to me other than that
  9. 02:14:778 (10) - I'd change this to a 1/4 slider and adding a note at 02:15:012 - , so you get both come and on ;) - I prefer having the 1/2 slider

  1. Some of the comments on insane probably apply here as well, such as how notes sometimes don't really work well with each other aesthetically.
  2. 01:06:574 (4) - and 01:09:856 (1) - I dunno, they work, but they just feel awkward to hit. - I think the first one is fine, but I made the second one a stack now
  3. 01:08:684 (2,3,4) - Same as in Insane, the 1/2 sound a bit excessive for this part of the song. - fixed
  4. 01:11:496 (3) - shorten to 1/2 to follow vocals? :P - that would leave kind of an awkward gap between this and the spinner, so I'd rather stick to this
  5. Something you can try to make nicer are some of the curves on sliders such as 01:21:340 (6) - and 01:28:371 (5) - . You can see how the curve is a bit sharper on one side of the curve. - fixed (I hope?)
  6. 02:24:621 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - The other patterns you made groups of 2 notes, which works really well with the rhythm, but the (3,4,5) here is a bit blah. - fixed
[Easy]
  1. Are 01:00:246 (1,2) - intentionally not symmetrical horizontally? It's really noticeable since the sliders stay on screen for almost 10 seconds :p - fixed
  2. You can work on some of your curves here too, such as 01:41:496 (1) - and 02:48:996 (1) -. - fixed(?)
  3. 02:50:871 (2) - Rotate this so it's pointing to the left? - fixed
  4. Nothing much here either. It's a good Easy, and it also has cleaner patterns overall than Hard and Insane, which is nice.
Overall it's a decent mapset, but there's still a lot of potential, so I wouldn't rush to find BNs for bubbling purposes (poking them for general mods to improve your mapset is a good idea though!). Hopefully some of the things I've pointed out will help you improve either this or your future maps, and good luck!

Also wtf I need to stop spending over an hour on a testplay and writing a semi-mod.
