18+ PROBABLY AND STUFF CAUSE INAPPROPRIATE LANGUAGE


So I'm changing this thread as of late, because even though this unrank happened DAYS ago I'm still to this day getting 9-10 pms a day about it.

I'm not reranking this map. If I do rerank it, it will be a very, very long time from now. I'm extremely upset and disappointed in the way that all of this was handled and as much as I know MOST of you are upset with how this got unranked, unfortunately its not enough for me to give in and feel like I deserve this as a mapper, or as any of the other GDers do either.

This was an attempt to spark creativity in the mapping community and unfortunately it didn't really go as planned. There was a large amount of people that really did enjoy the difference and thought that doing something like this was something that was 1) needed in the current state of mapping and 2) invigorating and different than what people were doing at the time, but the people who disliked it unfortunately had louder voices than the ones who did like it.

This will stay here as a reminder of what once was. To everybody on the set - good job on getting this qualified the first time around. We fought long and hard and we did what we could, but unfortunately I don't think I can take this any further.

Apparently somebody else is mapping this song now, so anybody who's looking for a ranked version, I'm sure that will be ranked much faster than this ever will be.

  4. 00:24:096 (3) - Move to x:248 y:172 to fix blanket with (1) as well as to maintain the 1.00x distance snap.
  5. 00:25:943 (2) - Move to x:333 y:352 to ^
  6. 00:34:250 (1,2) - Move (2) to x:262 to fix the third ugliest blanket I've ever seen.

  3. 00:09:558 (4,5) - Not sure if this is too fast for a normal, but I think it's fine. c:

  5. 00:18:558 (5,6,7) - I suggest you move (7) out from under (5) because both the slider and tail overlap, even if it does create a blanket. There are lots of places you can put it rather than hide half of the slider under another.

  4. 00:14:866 (1) - Move to x:203 to center the slider across x:256 (but isn't quite symmetrical, if you ctrl G it you'll find that the end point has y:309 while the start has y:308. Negligible, but now you know.)
  5. 00:15:212 (1) - Move to x:166 to ^, same thing with the ctrl G test.
  6. 00:15:558 (1) - Going to have to fix this blanket if you do ^ because the difference between the y-values on the two ends is 2.

  2. There is a HUGE gap between Easy, which is a pretty much Beginner diff with barely any 1/2s on it to Normal which already has 1/4s injected.

  1. The 2/1 beats in the barney part should have hitsounds like the other diffs, sounds much less empty
  2. 00:02:866 (1) - blanket really could be improved here, just use (2)'s approach circle to help you
  3. 00:34:250 (1) - maybe stack this with 00:32:404 (1) - ? doesnt seem that bad of a jump

  • I feel like AR should be higher here. The very high note density with 1/2s and 1/4s everywhere call for AR5 or more.

  5. 00:34:366 (1) - All the other diffs start the spinner where you finished this one and end the map in the "gay" sound. Shouldn't it work better if you make it consistent with the other diffs?
