[Archived] Two osu! Desktop Shortcuts?

I installed osu! using the offline installer a little bit ago, ran it, and updated to the Cutting Edge client.



They're both named "osu!" and point to the same executable. They have different Comments though; and it would seem the "Rhythm is just a *click* away!" one was created first.

Maybe one was made when you installed normally and the other when you install cutting edge?

Sometimes when I update the game a 2nd shortcut is added.

That's what I'm thinking. I don't recall this happening in the past though (I installed osu! about a week ago with the same steps and only had one shortcut iirc).

Yeah I already did it; just found it a bit strange it was created. A little surprised Windows didn't freak out over two shortcuts having the same name lol

my directory has two exes as well. But in my case, they have different icons the old and new design. Also the old icon is named as _osu!.exe. Probably from the recent updates. =w=)
