To add on a previous mod

NC is a bit inconsistent in Normal,Insane and Extra try placing every NC at downbeat (Big white line), it works

You will have to move NCs so that they fit - and as said, the big white tick is usually the way to go.
This is because the big white mostly has a "very strong" beat on it. Something, that makes you notice that a new >something< has started (verse, line, melody etc).
These strong beats should always be supported by clickable objects (> Circles oder Sliderheads), so there should be no problem NCing these.

additionally you tend to like to use the top half, try to make some use of the bottom portion of the screen too
