Hi, first of all, awesome song choice, the moment I played it I wanted a ranked version of it

The map is great, but I feel it's undermapped here and there, but overall great fun to play. I decided to mod it since the map is indeed pretty fun ^^

General

Consider taking a look at the AiMod, you have a lot of warning's there including:

- MP3 is a lot longer than your map (cutting it solves it)
- Audio preview conflicts
- "uh" diff has errors in the Artist and Title in Song Setup (Basically "uh" diff has a lot of conflicting errors lol)

I'd disable the inicial countdown in this map but that's personal taste ^^

Insane

Good overall, just some parts could use a bit more notes:

02:27:783 (5) and 02:33:783 (5) - Notes aren't snapped (AiMod warning)

Kiai's end isn't snapped! 03:00:520 (AiMod warning)

01:02:499 - I think that part asks for a triple

01:04:042 - basically the same, a triple is heard and it fits in there

01:52:042 and 01:52:385 - two triples instead of doubles, as the drums are making kind of a stream (purely an opinion though)

From 02:02:242 to 02:02:756 - I think that would be betetr filled up (it's undermapped), either with normal notes or with 2 triples

02:08:585 and 02:03:870 - Add notes here

02:05:756 and 02:05:928 - ^ (to make two doubles, fits perfectly with the music)

02:08:585 - Add note here

02:34:984 (2) - This slider just feels a bit out of place with the other next to it, even while playing (purely looks, which matter for some players

)

Rest is fine, I love the jumping final!

Overall love the map, and remember all I wrote are opinions, feel free to do whatever you want with them, I just feel like they would make the map a bit better imo

[Extra]
Pretty fun diff~

Increase drain to 7? This is an extra, and having lenient drain like this while playing defeats the purpose, my health did not go down much at all when I missed.
00:36:185 (2,3,4,5) - This parallelogram could be improved because right now it looks untidy, you should move (3) to x:122 y:207 for a nicer and more sophisticated shape.
00:37:556 (3,5) - I would avoid overlaps like these because they make the map look messy, move the two notes further apart so that they don't overlap.
00:39:442 (5,1) - Another overlap, like the above suggestion but a lot worse. When notes are hidden beneath sliders, spotting them can be really difficult, especially if your skin has hitbursts. I would change the location of (1) to somewhere more appropriate.
01:11:842 (4) - Why have a soft hitsound here? It is extremely quiet and could throw players offbeat, and it is extremely inconsistent; nothing in the music justifies a sudden soft hitsound amongst all these loud normal hitsounds. I would make it a normal hitsound, not only will it become more noticeable and consistent, but it will also sound a lot more pleasing to the ears.
01:20:928 (1,2) - This oval pattern isn't very good, I suggest making both sliders identical (copy and paste (1)) and place the new slider (2) in a place where it is symmetrical both vertically and horizontally after ctrl+h and ctrl+j, like at x:280 y:112
01:22:642 (3) - Like at 01:11:842 (4) -, I highly recommend a normal hitsound instead.
01:44:413 (1,3) - These two slider trails are not parallel. This looks really untidy, so I highly recommend you fix it.
01:58:128 (2,2) - I'm not a fan of this overlap, it looks bad and it could be confusing to some people, so I suggest moving the hit circle somewhere a bit more appropriate.
02:17:670 (4) - Again, make this a normal hitsound.
02:28:470 (3) - ^
02:39:613 (4) - ^
02:51:442 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5) - Way too many whistle hit sounds in this part of the map, it's loud and it feels really out of place compared with how the rest of the map sounds. I suggest that you tone it down a bit.

Well, that's it from me! You've used many creative jump patterns that are fun and challenging to play, but I think your overlaps and your hitsounding habits need a bit of work.

You are selling yourself short here. I've got 4,000 beatmaps and this quickly became my favourite one. I love the choice of song, too. Good luck with this, I really hope this gets ranked. Even if it doesn't, thanks a lot for submitting it. I'm really enjoying it.

Edit: I should probably make it clear that I'm talking about the current Extra difficulty. The NExtra difficulty is still really fun, but the current Extra difficulty seems amazing to me. So much so that I'd hate to see it remapped. I'd go as far as saying it would be nice to see it as another difficulty if you're definitely intent on remapping it, but it would probably be a good idea to see what other people think about that.

I'd also agree with an above comment that the drain should probably be increased to 7 on there though.

What diff are you talking about? I've updated the mp3/diff names so much that I honestly have no clue lol
maybe you need to redownload.

Also I'm still not a hundred percent sure about kiai times as of yet. There are a lot of cute things you can do I heard and I want to explore all the opportunities before I decide on what I want to kiai (other than the chorus and the final jump section).

Above statement also applies to -Sh1n1-'s mod.

00:04:128 (1,2) - Try and keep the same rhythm since the beats are the same here too. 3 circles > slider is a good rhythm to use, don't deviate from it.
00:05:500 (1,2) - ^ You'll notice 2 here doesn't work because its a circle, but the beats here suggest a 1/2 slider hold.
00:35:670 (1,2) - You don't use this 3/4 rhythm earlier so
00:48:013 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Could improve this star pattern. Mainly 5 is a bit out of place.
00:54:870 (1,2,3,4) - I don't think this works... 1/4 sliders better imo...
01:00:699 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,1) - Improve this stream. It doesn't look very neat. Also, pay attention to how 01:01:642 (12,1) - play out. The slider is angled too steeply so it doesn't really flow well coming out of a stream. Something like this

Problems I see here:
-The streams are poorly constructed,
-Your polygon patterns are often a bit off. Star patterns, boxes etc... Use Ctrl+Shift+D to create perfect shapes.
-00:02:756 - You could work on the rhythm that you use. Here is an example. If you have one measure with a rhytmic pattern like: This It feels really weird to then use This Right after. Osu is a rhythm game, so you need rhythmic pattern.

00:23:327 (1,2,3,4,1) - I really wish you could change the direction from 3 > 4. Something like this would flow really nicely Right now there is a slight flow break from 2 > 3 since the player has to quickly move backward before going forward again, also, the flow break from 4 > 1 could definitely be improved if anything.
00:25:727 (5,6) - Maybe this is just me, but even tho this is fine, I think if you Ctrl+G this, it creates a circular flow that leads into the next slider better.
00:27:099 (5,6,1,2) - This spacing is a bit deceptive. 5 > 6 is a large jump (fine) but then 1 > 2 is also the same spacing, but has virtually no movement. I don't think a pause fits with the melody here.
00:43:385 (2) - The beats here are in 1/3 rhythm not 1/4. Please check this for other diffs too, i'm just picking up on it (sorry didn't mention on Keada's Insane mod) Mentioned this on IRC The rhythm (i think) should be used here.
00:49:727 (1,2,1,2) - I think NC's aren't necessary here..
01:26:070 (4) - It wouldn't hurt to have a slider here imo.
01:31:555 (7,1,2) - This doesn't flow well for me, the way 1 leads into 2. Try putting 01:31:727 (1) - 270||190 coordinates.
01:34:642 (6,7,8,9,10,1) - You should keep the spacing ere uniform. there is a larger spacing from 9>10 and then a pause from 10>1 even though the melody doesnt' suggest a jump or a stop.
01:40:813 (5) - Make this a slider. and take out 6.
01:48:185 (6,1) - This flow could be improved. I think Ctrl+G'ing 1 is good. but you may have to fix the pattern that follows.
01:49:042 (5,6) - This sounds more like a triplet than 2 notes. Maybe you could add a note on 01:49:127 -
01:55:727 (1,2,3,1) - It would look really nice if you could continue the diamond pattern and have the slider begin where the 4th corner of this diamond pattern should have been
01:59:670 (5,6) - It makes more sense to Ctrl+G. Flow from 4 tells me to go upward (into 6) instead of rightward to 5.

Ending is nice, fun jumps

I enjoyed this difficulty more. I still think some of the polygon patterns you set up could use some improvements. 00:48:699 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Comes to mind. There are actually quite a few imperfect ones across the map, I suggest you take another look and try and improve them.

Also some of your jumps don't really have much of a structural pattern to them, 02:05:842 (2,3,4,5,6) - Comes to mind. Try and have some sort of recognizable pattern for your jumps, they really help with making the map neater.

And I often use alt and place single notes when I do streams >.< probably shouldnt do that

No loool. Damn... manually mapping streams must've been so tedious lool. Just use a slider, then use Ctrl+Shift+F to convert the slider into a stream

. You can also select the # of circles you want instead of the default. This is really good for making streams with multiple distance spacings (I think your diff has one).

Please check this for other diffs too, i'm just picking up on it (sorry didn't mention on Keada's Insane mod) Mentioned this on IRC The rhythm (i think) should be used here. upon further inspection. I don't think its 1/3 the vocal might begin on 1/3 but its not emphasized there, but on the blue tick. Im also not mapping the vocal but the zwoom thing

01:26:070 (4) - It wouldn't hurt to have a slider here imo. no music there, the stop is kind of cool

01:34:642 (6,7,8,9,10,1) - You should keep the spacing ere uniform. there is a larger spacing from 9>10 and then a pause from 10>1 even though the melody doesnt' suggest a jump or a stop. didsomething

01:48:185 (6,1) - This flow could be improved. I think Ctrl+G'ing 1 is good. but you may have to fix the pattern that follows.yupp

I enjoyed this difficulty more. I still think some of the polygon patterns you set up could use some improvements. 00:48:699 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Comes to mind. There are actually quite a few imperfect ones across the map, I suggest you take another look and try and improve them. will do

Also some of your jumps don't really have much of a structural pattern to them, 02:05:842 (2,3,4,5,6) - Comes to mind. Try and have some sort of recognizable pattern for your jumps, they really help with making the map neater. fixed

A note on diff scaling

As a general note, i think the inter diff scaling gets a bit weird between the insane and the another. Insane has long streams with more frequency than another, and the another is more jumpy. If you are gonna scale through these two to reach the extra, its going to seem odd in my opinion. I may be completely wrong, but I feel that stream difficulty and jump difficulty should scale with each other, instead of having one map with easy jumps/hard streams or vice versa. Up to you to consider how you want to rebalance it (if at all).

In a more definite way, there is a noticeable jump from hard to the insane. If the insane is going to be very streamy, it helps to have a bit more 1/4 action in the hard so that the player doesn't go from minimal streaming to large streams across the gap of one diff. Additionally, you can see this would be a problem if those players couldn't play the larger jumps in the another either, so they would find it tough to progress through the set.

In summary, you should try to keep anything that is just jump or stream focused to the highest difficulty level, and progress all the difficulty factors (jumps, streams, readibility etc) naturally to that point, so people can move through the set and decide what they enjoy and are challenged by when they reach the hardest material.

[of course you could ignore all this, its not a huge deal if you aren't bothered about rank too much]

Note on Hitsounds

Obviously you need to work on hitsounding. Feel free to hit me up in-game if you want some specific advice. Try hitsounding yourself first; using the different sounds to accentuate powerful points, and different samplesets for different sections of the song. (normal whistles will be amazing for this song (they always are

)). Remember to stay reasonably consistent. Also, hitsounding is really good for realising if you are following the song accurately, because if your hitsounding follows when the player is either under stress or clicking and object, its probably mapped well. If you find yourself placing powerful hitsounds on the ends of sliders for example, where there is very little stress on the player, then perhaps you need to rethink your rhythms.

Hard:

Very well polished and crafted hard. Hopefully my advice can help you perfect it.
-00:43:899 (1,2,3,4) - This may be quite confusing, and it isnt hard to change it to not be confusing. The arrows are completely obscured

-Because of how stacking works, you may want to move al this: 00:37:727 (2,3,4) - down to the right a bit so that the first circle is at the normal distance from the slider at 00:37:042 (1) - (only slightly noticeable in playmode, invisible in editor)

-at this time 00:15:099 (1) - i feel that you should have the next half step filled (red tick) by having the bar start with two 1/2 sliders. http://puu.sh/gIZZG/c40aa1920e.jpg where 1- =00:15:099 (1) - and slider 3- has a red anchor. This also changes the jump from
00:14:413 (6) - to 00:14:927 (7) - and instead has the jump from 00:14:927 (7) - to the start of the next bar; much more fitting with the sharp guitar hit.

-Would you consider deleting 00:32:070 (2) - and moving 00:31:899 (1) - to the upper right region of the map? My reasoning is that the 2- is not really that powerful, but it is stacked on the head of the upcoming slider, which is powerful. This is slightly confusing to me because its almost as if they are given equal value where they don't deserve it. Its not that easy to read either, especially on low AR to less experienced players

-For a similar reason, i would remove 01:28:985 (5) -

-01:30:870 (6) - . This section if feel could be better by making that slider a reverse, followed by circle into another 1/1 slider

Insane:

Fun diff with consistent diffculty. Just needs careful work to tidy up blankets, slider shapes and positional shapes of circles ( a lot of triangles are quite off; you can make them via the polygon circles option under the compose tab). Also there are some small overlaps with the 1/4 sliders and other sliders. Either make these overlaps about 1/3 to a 1/2 of the slider area overlapping or none of it. It looks kinda bad with tiny overlaps. Also i doubt they were intentional.

-So for this 00:44:927 (1,2) - i can see why you used the new combo as you did. I think the second slider also deserves an NC too. It also makes the SV change easier to read, allowing it to be reduced further (if you wish to, i think it would fit nicely).

I don't want to overmod this diff with too many suggestions, because i think its really fun in its current state. Try to make it more visually appealing, taking into account:

The comboing seems largely incorrect. From what i can see, you change the combo when you move to a different pattern. This is the wrong way to use NC. The NC is supposed to signal that a change in the music can be expected, not just a change in the map. So if the music were to not change but you decided to change the pattern and thus NC, it is confusing. Basically, you can change the NC at the start of each bar (large white tick) and you won't go too wrong.

An example is right at the start. You have a new combo here: 00:14:585 (1) - likely because of the jump because of the guitar hit. But this leads to inconsistency in the combo length and to a lesser extent HP drain. The NC should be at 00:13:727 (1) - (really it should be at 00:13:556 (5) - but you decided to end you slider here). This makes the combo length much more even.

Another example is at the vocal hits 00:52:128 (1) - i would have these as the NC and fit everything else around it.

I think its a difficult thing to explain the importance of. Perhaps try to consider the number as relating to the importance of notes? Maybe someone else can explain it better, i just feel it is not done quite right in this map.

-At least have a circle at 01:07:213 (10) - , removing or shifting the spinner. That way the circle can be hitsounded later, and it adds some finality and completeness to the section.

-Some of the long sliders don't fit for me. 01:35:499 (1) - this for example could be replaced with http://puu.sh/gJ2CF/fa5cb2a2d1.jpg where 3- is at 01:35:842 (3) - . 02:27:785 (4,1) - another example. Go through and recheck if you can divide them up into more normal rhythms that are more engaging.

Same as insane on the final overall point to a lesser extent. Blankets and shapes are done mostly well, a few dodgy slider shapes which i think you will hear more about from others, but feel free to ask me more about that. Fun map, and good luck!

Its not that easy to read either, especially on low AR to less experienced players my idea was that it could be a good area for cool hitsounds which sound a little different from the regular beats from the song, but i'll consider that

As a general note, i think the inter diff scaling gets a bit weird between the insane and the another. Insane has long streams with more frequency than another, and the another is more jumpy. If you are gonna scale through these two to reach the extra, its going to seem odd in my opinion. Note on Hitsounds
Obviously you need to work on hitsounding. Feel free to hit me up in-game if you want some specific advice. Try hitsounding yourself first; using the different sounds to accentuate powerful points, and different samplesets for different sections of the song. (normal whistles will be amazing for this song (they always are )). Remember to stay reasonably consistent. Also, hitsounding is really good for realising if you are following the song accurately, because if your hitsounding follows when the player is either under stress or clicking and object, its probably mapped well. If you find yourself placing powerful hitsounds on the ends of sliders for example, where there is very little stress on the player, then perhaps you need to rethink your rhythms.
I'm going to finish placing notes before I think about hitsounding, I'm very new to this

Just needs careful work to tidy up blankets, slider shapes and positional shapes of circles ( a lot of triangles are quite off; you can make them via the polygon circles option under the compose tab). Also there are some small overlaps with the 1/4 sliders and other sliders. Either make these overlaps about 1/3 to a 1/2 of the slider area overlapping or none of it.
