Hi, from my M4M queue.
[General:]Lmao I know what a blanket is lmao
- Okay, if i'm not wrong, your mapping on the vocals. So I suggest you map on the music and mostly the drums. When I started mapping I mapped on the vocals and when I look at how my map was then and how it is now I like it so much more. Because you're map isn't that bad and better than my first one, you don't have to remap it or whatever I'm just telling you so that you can try it out on your next map. Though I might also mention some places where you should change some things, I suggest you just try thm out first and then decide if you'll change then or not. Nope, keeping the mapping to vocals. Since the vocals are what I want to emphasize more, esp on ENHI spread. I wanna keep Insane kinda easier as well. But I have the drum beats mapped on Extra already, so that's kinda good
- Okay, so most of your blanketed sliders (I wrote this afte I modded easy) are close to what people call "nice blanket" but not really. When I make blankets, like with a circle and a slider then I'll put the cirle about there where I think is right and then when scroll in the timeline until the approach circle is just slighty over the slider and I select the silder I can see quite easily if the blanket is "nice" or not.
[Easy:][Normal:]
- 01:08:636 (6) – move this to (X:260)(Y:220) and move 01:10:525 (2) – there as well. Lmao theres a pentagon there
- 01:22:336 (3,4) – pls ctrl + c + v + g (3) at the time where (4) is and put it at the right place again. Dunno what's wrong, they seemed perfectly parallel, but fixed anyway
- 00:08:636 (3) – Why not use the same slider as at 00:01:077 (1) - ? Variety?
- 00:19:974 (3) – Ctrl + Shift + R and select 'selection centre' then rotate by -26 to make 00:19:974
(3,4,1) – look nicer. Its fine like that- 00:29:423 (1) – place the second sliderpoint at (X:204)(Y:156) and the last one at (X:260)(Y:176) for better blanket. Fixed
- 00:30:368 (2) – ctrl + c + v + j (1) before that and place it at the right place again. ^
- 00:33:202 (1) – place the second point at (X:232)(Y:360) and the last one at (X:124)(Y:336) for better blanket. ^ I think
- 00:46:431 (3) – put the last slider point at (X:144)(Y:296)for better blanket.
- 00:47:494 (4) – ctrl + c + v + g + h and place it at the same place.
- 01:02:494 (3,4) – ctrl + c + v + > + j 00:46:431 (3,4) - and place it at the same place for better blanket and don't forget to put a reverse arrow at (4).
- 01:10:998 (3) – put the second slider point at (X:364)(Y:240) and the last at (X:320)(Y:304)
- 01:16:667 (1,2) – same thing like at 01:02:494 (3,4) – except for the reverse arrow of course.
- 01:26:116 (2,3) – same thing like at 01:16:667 (1,2) –
Not gonna accept most of these, since this is practically a waste of my time. There isn't a major issue with perfect blanketting, since most players don't notice it anyway.[Hard]
- 00:07:691 (4) – Personally I would use a straight slider here, I don't know, just looks better like that, then again it might just be me. Fixd
- 00:08:636 (1) – put the second slider point at (X:172)(Y:200) and the last one at (X:256)(Y:288)
- 00:34:856 (5,6) – please blanket these... put the second slider point of (5) at (X:152)(Y:312), the last one at (X:180)(Y:384) and put (6) at (X:300)(Y: 300)
then I suggest you put 00:36:273 (7) – at (X:352)(Y: 224) and 00:36:746 (8) – at (X:480)(Y: 248)- 00:12:179 (4) – instead of this, I would place two notes at 00:12:415 – and 00:12:888 – It just feels better for me, when it's mapped on the music, try it out and do what ever feels better for you. I'm mapping vocal here
- 00:15:722 (2) – I would shift this to 00:15:250 – and either repeat the slider or place a circle at 00:15:250 (2) – though i think a circle fits better... I don't see a point in change
- 00:19:265 (3) – put this to 00:19:029 – and make it end at 00:19:502 – then delete 00:19:738 (4) – and place a note at 00:19:974 – slider until 00:20:447 – or just circle, whatever you prefer. There isn't anything there to map
- 00:27:297 (4) – delete this and add note at 00:27:533 –
- 00:31:549 (4) – shorten this to 00:31:667 -00:32:021 –
- 00:33:439 (2) – shorten this to 00:33:557 -00:33:911 –
- 00:34:856 (5) – shorten this to 00:35:092 -00:35:092 –
- 00:49:738 (3) – delete this and move 00:49:265 (2) – to 00:49:502 –
Didn't accept anything pertaining to rhythm change and blanket, I mentioned before, I'm mapping this to vocal. Also, if anything, blankets aren't the greatest of all issues.[Insane]
- 00:04:147 (3) – why not shift this to 00:03:911 (3) - 00:04:384 – the way it is now doesn't make any sense to me at all...
- 00:06:037 (3) – like above
- 00:07:691 – like above Great idea, all fix
- 00:14:187 (9) – this is not needed Why not? Its for consistency
- 00:17:612 (8,9,10) -) – shift them to start at 00:17:494 (8,9,10) – No lmao wtf its a Hard
- 00:25:171 (4,5,6) – start these at 00:25:053 - ^
- 00:47:376 (6,7,1) – if you want to make a stream here, get rid of the reverse arrow and make a stream from 00:47:848 -00:48:084 – and delete 00:48:202 (7) – because it's not needed in the first place. Lmao why would I intend a stream in Hard
- 00:50:919 (6,7,8,9,1) – move (7) to 00:51:510 - (8) to 00:51:628 – and delete (9) Again, its for consistency, but I will think about this one
- 01:00:250 (5) – this is not needed It sounds better with the note
Sry... got to lazy to check for blanket... sry. Lmao I'd honestly rather you notSry, but I'm not going to mod your last diff... btw it's the best imo of your mapset. and 00:03:439 (2,3) – this is much better than the way it is in insane maybe you want to try doing something similar in insane just a tad bit easier. VocalVocalVocalVocalDrums. ENHIX. Simple.
- 00:04:147 (3,4) – not trying to be rude her or anything, but I have no idea how you got the idea to put these two here, no music, no vocals, nothing that really sticks out i do hear some music but then you would have to make this stream longer... please delete them unless you have a valid reason.
- 00:06:037 (4,5) – like above Fixd everything inconsistent here
00:12:179 (4) – please get rid of the reverse arrow and move this to 00:12:415 - and move 00:13:242 (5) - to 00:13:124 - Again vocals
ok... as far as I know there's not much wrong with your hard and insane diffs, just that a lot of streams are quite random to the point where I've no idea why you places them thereI think you should go over your map again. Put the playback rate to 25% and go to View Volume and lower the Sample volume to 0 and go through your map and listen to the music and find where is the right place to put your streams. If I really were to listen, there isn't any streams I can place in the song at all. Then, what's the point in an Insane?
And I'm sorry if I ever sounded harsh in this mod, just wanted to get my point across (some ppl sometimes really don't get it if I don't) so I'm just making sure xD. Lmao you weren't harsh, you were just Nazi all the way, which makes me really sad Although you had some valid points though
It you want me to help you further in anyway on this map (regerding the streams, mapping on the vocals etc.) just forum pm me.
Good luck getting this ranked and don't give up! Thanks

Insane
00:03:911 there a drum beat here that you miss, i dont know if it was intentional. but add a circle here. I think it plays well. it doesnt effect anything just adds more to it.
00:05:801 same here These 2 were fixed in previous mod
00:07:454 I think this flows better plus it picks up the drum beat in the background Fixd
Hard
00:03:911 missing drum beats, I added notes and test played it feels a lot nicer than having a small pause
00:05:801 ^
00:07:691^^ Fixd in previous mod as well
00:48:321 at this timing point a slight volume increase would be nice, the music overtakes the hit sounds (using 100% effect volume)
I think 45% is a good amount everything sounds balanced. IMO its fine, since its only that beat that is stronger than the rest. I may think about this though
as for the other diffs I really like them. Thank you
good luck with ranking For a short mod, you helped me out quite a bit
Thanks for everyone's modsSonnyc wrote:
[Normal]
00:47:376 (6) - Starting from 00:40:762 (2), the note placements are dense. So if you give a rhythm change in clicking in a relatively small distance, players can be confusing. Increasing this slider to 1/1 is most recommended. I get that the note placements are dense, but I believe normal players can get this rhythm. Also, changed slider to 1/1
[Hard]
00:25:171 (4,5,6) - The jump with the previous slider was way too much. Think its fine, may await for more opinions.
[Insane]
00:38:399 (3,4) - Personally I felt this part too mild to add 1/4 sliders. I have no idea how to change these though
[#2k14Mapping]
00:36:510 (1) - Hope the wiggle is reflecting the drum sound, but anyways it feels a little sad the drums being ignored as hit sounds. There aren't any drums there I think, I'm trying to cover the guitar
00:49:738 (6) - You can see the curve is bumpy, despite 3 slider dots are used, right? You'll want to use several slider dots to make the curve smoother. http://puu.sh/cUmh9/6103a16dae.jpg Can you see the difference? I sure do see the difference, but I kinda liked the bent circle, looked kinda cool, but I fixed it anyways.
Wow every difficulties are in a really good stance and consists a nice flow. Yay I won't spare my star for this kind of map thanks for the stars , and I hope you can get your rank soon. Thanks
Good luck~ Thanks for mod
