[Archived] error while lunching game

when i press lunch game in osu
a page comes and says "error occurer in osu"
and i have 2 options :
reset osu
exit osu
if i reset the error comes again and if i exit and enter the game the error comes again
what should i do?

That's your problem right there, you should be playing the game, not eating it! I know the logo looks like a cookie, but try to resist the temptation to take a bite and maybe it will work.

But seriously, you should probably post the error text so we'll know what error you're talking about.

yes that is a picture and the girl is eating the game
i have a very good computer i can run games like crysis and gtaIV on very high
there is no problem with my hardware

I am having something similar, if not identical to what the OP is having an issue with. The error text is:

I ate osu-sandwich for lunch!:D

but serious: YES! that's exactly my problem too! and i've also got a kick-ass PC :(
Haven't anyone found a solution yet?

As has been said, you should post the crash information from the error dialogue, as it will help to determine what's causing the problem.

However, make sure that you have the .net framework. If you already have it, try toggling your renderer. Do this by navigating to your osu! folder and opening osu!.[name].cfg in a text editor. [name] is usually your computer profile name, and .cfg may not appear depending on your settings, although it should still display as a configuration file. Scroll down to "Renderer =" and switch the following value between "d3d" and "opengl", save, and try running osu! again.
