00:42:966 (2) - I would move this circle to x:232 to make this jump flow better

Everything else seems good to me. It's an easy salad but I like it. ;)

00:41:338 (5) - I think the hyper to this is oddly placed. I would replace with just a difficult jump.
01:15:176 (1,2,3,4) - I think the part here is awkward. I would move 01:15:524 (3) - to an easier catch spot and keep 01:15:757 (4) - as a hyper jump.
03:43:780 (1) - I think this hyper should be changed to a regular hard jump as well.

I really liked this platter. Very challenging. :D

I hope this gets ranked. I liked the song and the diffs.

Maybe make the AR6.5? This would make a consistent spread with the platter and rain (Going up by 1 for each difficulty).

01:17:501 (2) - Make this slider end on the 1/2 tick to fit the drums. (Also, bigger distance from this to 01:17:966 (3) - , this is a strong beat with a very small jump.

02:05:990 (6,1) - Whilst this hyper fits, I don't think it's allowed for a platter difficulty, as the notes are too close together (a 1/6 tick).
02:08:780 (7) - Can't hear a beat here, please remove this circle.
03:12:385 (4) - Whilst I know this is symmetrical with the last part, it's too awkward to catch as it is now, move it to the left a bit.
02:22:501 (1) - Remove the NC here.
03:21:106 (1) - I'd prefer this without the NC.

Yeah, the main problem with this difficulty is the hypers on 1/6 ticks, (mentioned in 02:05:990 (6,1) - ) as these are too difficult for a platter, I think.

Rain
I'd recommend making HP6 on this difficulty for a consistency with Salad and Platter.

00:36:106 (6) - Increase jump distance a tiny bit here, as this is a rain.
00:38:199 (6) - NC.
00:41:571 (6) - I'd prefer this as two seperate circles, with a jump to the 2nd circle as it is a strong beat.

Hi there, I decided to go on a random modding spree to see how other people map to get inspiration for my own maps. I've just started modding, so feedback on how informative and helpful my mods are would be appreciated.

Salad:

00:55:528 (4) - This feels a bit awkward. Maybe rotate this 90 degrees or Ctrl + G it. I saw there was another mod referring to this exact thing, so this may be contradicting or backing up what they said. (I'm not sure which it would be) Anyways, it feels a bit awkward and may throw off newer players, so I thought it was worth mentioning.

01:25:873 (2,3,4) - This felt a bit weird to play. (Especially going from 3 to 4) So what I did was select 01:25:873 (2,3) - and did a Ctrl + G and moved the selection to x:368. (2 is at x:368 for this one) It seems to play a lot more cleanly.

01:59:125 (3) - This jump feels a bit too long, so I'd suggest moving it to about x:136. Just this slight movement makes it flow a lot better in my eyes.

02:32:261 (2) - Again with the slight movements, moving this to x:408 makes quite a difference. I feel it flows much more nicely.

02:35:633 (2) - Another one of these slight movements to affect flow. If you don't like this edit you can skip it, but I personally feel that moving this to x:160 makes it flow just a tad bit better.

02:38:423 (2) - Same as the one above in terms of flow and how I view this as an optional edit. I moved this to x:192 and I felt the map flowed better and looked a bit nicer.

02:41:213 (2) - This one needed a bit more movement in my opinion and is a little less optional. I moved it to x:184.

03:20:046 (1) - The hitsounds sounded weird, when I removed the clap on the entire slider it sounded a lot better.

That's all I found, it's a great difficulty that was well done. A lot of this modding is just small tweaks that make the beatmap flow better.

01:20:409 (4) - Again, small flow adjustments, x:224 felt nicer to me.

01:21:455 (1) - Same as above, x:312 felt nicer

01:33:314 (5) - Once again, I felt it flowed better at x:320

01:50:638 (3) - Once again, except this ruins your symmetry if you do this edit (if that matters), this time it is at x:304

02:15:170 (2) - This felt really hard to make, it's still difficult to make at x:368, just not too hard

Other than my nazi modding, this map is really nice and fun to play. I tried my hardest to make my edits not change too much with the map as it was a really enjoyable one. If anything, most of these are probably optional.

This suggestion is first upload pattern. but I'd prefer current placement because it is more matched to the song I think. At the same time, The opinion that feel a bit hard for newer player, I think so too.

That's all I found, it's a great difficulty that was well done. A lot of this modding is just small tweaks that make the beatmap flow better.

  1. I doubt that they are not matching the audio (mostly at the later parts). I think the BPM should be 86 instead of 86.01 and offset might be not too accurate. Yet I can't tell the right one because I am not good at timing. Maybe you have to ask for some BN/QAT assistance on that.

  1. I did a no-dash play on this diff and only got 2 misses. While certain parts require a somewhat precise timing, a bit more jumps would help make this feel more like a Salad.
  2. 00:24:270 (3,4) - Consider moving this a bit more to the left (I quick tested x:176 and it felt okay) to increase distance between 00:23:922 (2,3) - , which is a bit small, and to emphasize 00:25:666 (1) - a bit more.
  3. 00:27:759 (4) - On a similar fashion, this can be moved to the right to emphasize the guitars a bit more. You can try something around x:488.
  4. 00:31:247 (1,2,3) - I'd use a bit more distance here, too.
  5. 00:40:317 (2) - I know you wanted something symmetric, but it plays a bit boring because of the distance. I tried x:296 for this and played a bit more fun.
  6. 00:45:201 (1) - I think you can Ctrl+H this and play with it a bit by moving it around. It will emphasize the start of a new verse, which is stronger than the one before it. Don't forget to move 00:45:898 (2) - too, as it will probably be too close to previous object.
  7. 00:48:689 (2,3,4) - Maybe try something like this for a bit more movement?
  8. 00:56:363 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - This part could be a liitle more interesting. I tried something and thing got something nice, so it's time for you to try it: (3) to x:480, (4) to x:296, (5) to x:464, (6) to x:296, 00:59:154 (1) - to x:120.
  9. 01:10:317 (1) - Totally optional, you can make this a repeat 3/4 slider to focus on the vocals. In that case, be sure to remove the clap from the repeat as it won't fit. If you do it, I think it would also be convenient to add a circle on 01:11:712 - to emphasize that beat.
  10. 01:15:898 (1) - Move to the left a bit? As the beat starting the Kiai Time, I think it's better that it has more distance than 01:14:503 (4,5) - to really emphasize it.
  11. As I said before, you should use a bit more dashing to make this a proper Salad. The Kiai Time is a perfect moment to do it! As an example, I suggest you move 01:17:526 (2) - to x:144, 01:18:340 (3) - to x:448 and 01:18:689 (1) - to x:160 for a nice jump. This move will mess the distance with next object (as it will add an hyperdash), but it's a chance to work the Kiai a bit better, add some jumps and make it more interesting!

    The ideas I've outlined before also apply later, so I won't repeat myself too much. I will take the next lines to focus on new things.

    I think going on is just repeating myself. All the things that I've said also apply to later parts. For example, the 2nd Kiai has son 1/6 hyperdashes that shouldn't be there, weird 1/6 spacings and issues that I've already mentioned.

I haven't been mentioning them because this song is really low BPM and you've been using them on really specific parts, but this is just too much.

    I think going on is just repeating myself. All the things that I've said also apply to later parts. For example, the 2nd Kiai has son 1/6 hyperdashes that shouldn't be there, weird 1/6 spacings and issues that I've already mentioned.

  1. 00:29:736 (4,5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,5) - Uhhh, there's some bad flow here. First, the are some hyperdashes that are emphasizing really weak stuff, so they don't feel right. On 00:30:549 (7,8,9,1) - , the movement between hyperdashes flows bad.
  2. 00:39:503 (5) - Kind of sounds better without this.
  3. 00:38:108 (5,1,2,3,4) - The back and forth movements don't flow so well here, try something different.
  4. 00:40:898 (3,4,5) - This movement doesn't play too well, I'd reduce distance between doublets. Also, the increased distance on 00:41:596 (6,7,8,9) - doesn't feel that right, reduce it.
  5. 01:05:317 (2) - Feels a bit forced
  6. 01:08:805 (4,5) - This hyperdash is over a relatively weak sound, I'd remove it.
  7. 01:19:619 (4) - Sounds better without it.
  8. 01:19:968 (6) - Fits the song better if the repeat is removed and a circle is added on 01:20:433 -
  9. 01:24:619 (3,4) - This hyperdash doesn't play too well, it's easy too miss. Try something different.
  10. 01:26:363 (1) - If I move this 1 grid space to the left it becomes an hyperdash, hence it's a timing jump so it's really, really, really, really easy to miss. Move it closer to previous note.
  11. 01:33:224 (2,3) - This hyperdash doesn't feel really good as it's eclipsed by a stronger vocal at 01:33:689 (4) - .

I am totally not two years too late to mod this map! ~ I think I closed my queue a few days after you requested so I didn't have time to do a mod, sorry :c
Since I'm kind of rusty, feel free to ignore a lot of my suggestions! I'll put a lot of effort into this mod because I'm so late :P (and also I need to get some more practice XD). I feel like most of the map is just moving left the whole way then right the whole way, mixing things up a little is what makes maps a bit more fun
At a lot of points, you use a 1/2 length slider where it should be a 1/3 slider followed by a 1/6 note -> ill just tag these as a "triplet" even though that's technically not correct XD. These note sounds should not be skipped!
At a lot of other points, you use a repeated 1/2 slider where it skips note sounds, I make a big fuss about this because there are many more points in the map where you include these 1/6 notes, and so for consistency you should not skip them. (Also, using repeating sliders adds a hit sound in the middle, so you need to make sure you're using these when they should be used.
Also, this is Salad not Cup! Try increase map spread, the catcher does not need to be standing still throughout & between some sliders. Mapping easy difficulties is actually hard to do well :P. On the points I mark with "not enough map spread", I won't provide the new positions because I'm just a modder. You should just try position the hit objects so that the catcher is a little more dynamic.
