hi from modreqs

[General]
  1. normal-sliderslide.wav
    soft-sliderslide.wav
    soft-sliderslide99.wav

All these are 0.32ms length, which is unrankable, if they have sound they must be at least 100ms long. If you want them silent they have to be silent 44byte hitsound. I'm giving you one here in the link, change it to the name of the *-sliderslide*.wav files that you should replace.

changed the hitsound files, thanks

Hi. Here for M4M from your queue. Hope this helps!

00:26:942 (1,3) – The distance between these is really close and doesn't look great. Can you make the DS 1.2 between these?
00:00:004 (1) - and stacking 00:01:228 (1,2) – don't play well together imo. By starting with a slider, you're acknowledging ½ rhythm a lot, which makes the stack be easily read as ½ rhythm since there isn't an indication in the music to slow down. I think making 00:00:004 (1) – a circle feels nice since it gives a smoother introduction of the song to the player and lets 00:02:452 (1) – etc have more of the spotlight in the opening to the song. If you do make this change, make 00:04:901 (1) – a circle too.

00:08:269 (3,4) – Dont stack these to stay consistent with 00:03:371 (3,1) – (suggestion, make a triangle: http://puu.sh/pyrRF/196b2640a4.jpg)

00:27:861 (2,3) – This looks bad because it's not stacked right. Do +4y on (3)

00:29:391 (1,1) – I'm kind of worried about your DS being read incorrectly. Consider something like this http://puu.sh/pys62/9c10c43fb1.jpg

00:33:218 (1) – Consider switching to the harmony here for a less confusing rhythm (which stays consistent with the rhythm at 00:35:514 (1,2,3) - ): http://puu.sh/pysw3/a647301c98.jpg
00:38:116 (1) -

00:40:412 (1,2,3) – I didn't like this as much as 00:35:514 (1,2,3) - , so try using that rhythm instead to stay consistent.

00:41:636 (1) – Consider this: http://puu.sh/pysIn/7ac44ccdc9.jpg

00:45:463 (2) – This slider is inconsistent with how you've been mapping it previously in that you go with a completely different track of the song. Please stick to emphasizing the sharp note at 00:45:310 (1) – like you did at 00:35:514 (1,2,3) -

00:50:208 – The melody starts here doesn't it? It feels strange not to start this combo here.

00:56:330 (1,2) – stack up instead of down for better readability: http://puu.sh/pyt1Z/5928dcb51c.jpg

01:37:350 (4) – The piano gets pretty funky here (in that the pitch scales lower instead of scaling higher), so I think a cool slider art would look nice (you don't need to repeat the pattern since the sound doesn't repeat), like maybe: http://puu.sh/pytd4/43502fa0ea.jpg
00:00:004 (1) – More of a personal thing than a rankability issue, but I like using long sliders and going with the violin to make this section calm. This would make the pacing nicer imo since 00:09:187 (4) – would start to raise the intensity nicely into the different section of music where the drums kick in.

00:45:310 (1,2) – Delete (2) make (1) a 1/1 slider since you're going with the melody in the combo before?

00:59:238 (2) – circle?
00:33:371 (1,2) – DS might be a little big, blanketing 00:32:912 (6,1) – might help

00:39:034 (6,2) – Can these be a little farther apart? They look too cramped

00:42:248 (4,5,1) – and 00:42:708 (1,2,3) – These patterns have the same flow, but the music is pretty different on each of these patterns (in that 00:43:167 (2) – is significantly higher pitched), so I strongly recommend not using repetition here. Especially since 00:41:942 (2,3,4) – has a somewhat similar feel, I really suggest exploring a different pattern to use at 00:42:708 (1,2,3) –

00:55:412 (7,8) – The DS felt a little small to me because slider leniency. By angling up 00:55:106 (5,6,7) - , you give yourself room to have 1.40 spacing between 00:55:412 (7,8) – like so: http://puu.sh/pywDj/5241b05d59.jpg

01:24:493 (5,6) – Consider a less aggressive drop off flow? http://puu.sh/pyxZN/b18fba9390.jpg

01:39:493 (9,1) – I think this should have bigger spacing relative to the other spacing in the combo like at 01:39:799 (2,3) - . By jumping into (1), you better distinguish 01:39:646 (1,2,3,4,5) – as a different group of notes, and the increase in base spacing is more clear and agreeable to the player. I don't want to make this pattern too intense, so you can decrease the spacing at 01:39:799 (2,3) – to ~1.5 or so. By using a polygon cirlce (since I think it could be structure nicer), I got something like this: http://puu.sh/pyxih/88c11372cb.jpg

01:40:106 (4) - missing hitsound?
01:43:779 (2) - ^
01:45:004 (6) - ^

01:48:983 (4) – NC?

Pretty fun, well structured map with nice patterns. Not much more to ask for.
00:00:004 (1,2,3,4,5,6) – imo, the last two beats in this measure are stronger than the first two beats in this section, so I'd like to see the jumps be into (5) and (6). The same is especially true for 00:01:228 (1,2,3,4,5,6) -
00:28:779 (5) – Similarly, there's places like this where I think you under-emphasize the strong note here. I'd like to see a jump into some of these stronger notes, but I will try not to mention it anymore since I think we disagree on this. Msg me if you want more suggestions like this.

00:03:677 (1,2) – With slider leniency, this DS is very small. Consider not blanketing and instead increasing the DS.

00:10:106 (2) – Consider finding a custom hitwhistle that goes better with the song.

00:22:963 (5,4) – Stack (4) around (5)'s tail so that the DS emphasizes 00:23:881 (5) – more

00:28:473 (3,6) – This overlap doesn't look great because (2) fades too soon to recognize the symmetry of your overlap.

00:33:218 (2) – This felt weird to play. I'm not sure that I would use exactly .60x spacing on (2,3,4), but regardless, I can see the effect you're going for. I think this works a lot better if you introduce it with a jump of 2.50x like: http://puu.sh/pyvSw/3e1946bf14.jpg. This will clue the player in to approaching this pattern differently which will make the drop in spacing at (2,3,4) more clear and agreeable. Also, 2.50x is consistent with 00:33:677 (5,6) - .

00:35:361 (6,1) – and 00:40:259 (6,1) – consider emphasizing these notes consistently in DS.

01:39:646 (4,5,6,7) – The previous notes have been building tension, and I feel like here is where the payoff comes in the music where it releases that tension with the pitch change on (4), so consider scaling this pattern up (by 1.7 as seen in the following) and give it a jump like maybe: http://puu.sh/pyveZ/2c6cb2aaed.jpg

Good luck!

Hi, M4M from your queue

00:04:289 (3,4,5,6) - Shouldn'd the spacing be the other way around, from larger to smaller sense the pitch is getting higher ?
00:08:575 (1,2) - The spacing here should be bigger than here 00:08:881 (3,4) - Cause it's higher pitched.
00:11:330 (4,5) - Random huge spacing ?
00:27:248 (2,3) - ^
00:36:126 (1,2,3,4) - Now this, I thought was a stream when I played the map xD maybe at least you should NC to indicate that it isn't.
01:12:248 (1) - Is there a reason to change the SV here ? and the other sliders like that

Well that's all I can find here, really nice diff, very clean
00:03:677 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Don't understand the spacing, I think you should start with a bigger spacing and then slowly making it smaller to match the pitch that is getting lower.
If you don't change it why not make this a perfect hexogon 00:03:371 (5,2,3,4,5,6) - would look better.
01:07:657 (2,4,6) - I would make this a pefect triangle
01:37:044 (1,2,3) - Larger spacing when lower pitch ?
00:31:534 (5,6,7,8) - Would look nicer if you made them all parallel or something, they look messy
01:30:310 (5,6,7,8) - ^
00:52:963 (1,1) - Why stack them here and not 00:51:432 (1,1) - ?
00:59:544 (4,5) - Unstack these they are both pretty strong notes so they should be emphasized
01:04:289 (4,5) - ^
00:55:871 (6) - Make this circle a kickslider to cover the blue tick note I think it's pretty important
01:00:769 (6) - ^ ... and others, I mean you covered it sometimes like 00:53:269 (1,1,1) - so why not do it to all ?
01:31:534 (5,6,7,8,1) - Make this curve a bit better pls it looks like (7) is sticking out
01:37:350 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1) - Make this stream look more like a wave slider by making the curves a bit bigger, it's a bit too straight
01:50:207 (1) - NC for the finish

Ok I think that's it for me, I'm not the best modder but I hope it helped a bit !
Good Luck ..

hello from m4m queue

Oxy's master :

  • 01:34:289 (1,2) - 01:35:820 (2,1,2,1,2,3,4) - Considering this is as the hardest difficulty on the mapset these 1/3 parts are made with sliders and they are easy to play when compared with other extreme diffs. Others mapped with more circles almost full of circles. Even though your sliders are high spaced but still in general full of 1/3 taps are harder than jumping.

00:01:228 (1,1,1,1) - Maybe so gimmick but in general this part has more spacing than 00:06:126 (1,1,1,1)

00:07:350 (1,2,3) - Also on these 3 i would consider higher spacing since slider velocity is high and cursor movement of the part is fast if they don't have any specific reason to be this close..

00:14:085 (3) - 00:14:238 (4) - 00:14:391 (5) - 00:14:544 (6) - Instead of the 5 stream there i putted slider kicks on these timestamps and followed piano instead i can tell you focused on drum n bass but making slider kicks also follows them too so you can follow both sounds this way.(i believe its piano) try it : http://puu.sh/pzqED/223fb82600.jpg

00:45:310 (1,2,3,4,5) - Misleading spacing between 1/2s they are closer than they should be. I can't really tell what is the reason of this spacing change in the music.

Extreme :

  • 00:32:912 (7,1) - If you could make this stack on every stops : 00:35:514 (1,2) - 00:37:810 (6,1) - 00:38:422 (3,1) - 00:40:412 (1,2) - and more that would be awesome because when you stack on the stops you will give a better view for the player and better for reading. Also it gives a chance to player jump further after stops, anyway it seems cool too.

00:53:116 - Well i don't like you ignored this beat end the slider on here and put a circle at 00:53:192

00:53:881 (1) - 01:18:524 (2) - and there are more Shorten it by half and add reverse for not ignoring drum beat? Technically if you just reverse it it does the same job as you wanted. You hold the slider same amount of time again.

01:08:498 (5) - I can't hear what does this follows but even if it follows something it is bad for playing i would just delete it because right after the slider playing streams are not, kills your accuracy and plays bad, harder than usual streams. I only do them if they are super necessary and fitting when i map.

    00:17:146 (1,2) - 00:42:708 (6,7) - Feasible blanket

You dont have a kiai time on insane diff while you have on expert btw.

I don't want to touch easier diff's i can't see anything important that it will effect the map if changed so i think they are fine

This would make the pacing nicer imo since 00:09:187 (4) – would start to raise the intensity nicely into the different section of music where the drums kick in. :arrow:personally I find the long slider sound weird for that part , the bell sound there sound much more noticeable here if i use long slider like 1/1 slider there it would make the next red tick sound weird to map something and also I don't want a small break there so lol I find my rhythm a bit more comfortable to play and can fit the calm section here

00:45:310 (1,2) – Delete (2) make (1) a 1/1 slider since you're going with the melody in the combo before? :arrow:I try to use circle there becus i want to try emphasis 00:45:769 - so i make (3) clickable actually u can call some sort of variation in rhythm lol

Dancing Map \.w./

Normal:
• 00:08:575 (4) - dont overlap this, its not feel same with 00:06:432 (2) - and before
• 00:50:820 (2) - this prolly the one you looking for, and yeah its feel better http://puu.sh/pACut/b9bd265389.jpg
• 00:56:330 (1) - dont overlap
• 01:10:718 (2) - dont overlap this, this is a new start
• 01:24:187 (4) - hmm, the last pattern not stacked so do same for this one
• 01:47:759 (1) - perfect this blanket
Hard:
• 00:18:983 (3) - increase the curve
• 00:53:575 (3) - straight is fine imo, just incrrease the (4)
• 00:58:779 (1,2) - i feel something lost from this, so i prefer this rhytm http://puu.sh/pACQ5/e553f1a2d4.jpg. yes do same thing like (3,4), stack the (2) at start of (3)
• 01:07:657 (2) - blanket
• 01:14:391 (5) - light down curve is fine
• 01:15:922 (1) - the only angle slider i see on this map w
• 01:22:657 (4) - add light down curve slider
• 01:44:697 (3) - too much imo
Hyper:
• 00:24:493 (1) - move it down a bit so it fully overlap end of last slider
• 00:28:167 (6) -NC
• 00:36:432 (4) - ctrl+g
• 00:42:401 (4,5) - ^, the square pattern not fit at that point
• 00:52:657 (7) - NC
• 01:09:799 - missing note
• 01:31:840 (6) - NC
• 01:37:963 (1) - nice slider .w.
Insane:
• 00:24:493 (1) - perfect the blanket
• 00:32:912 (6) - blanket
• 00:38:422 (6) - ^ slightt
• 00:39:799 (3,4) - switch place
• 00:47:606 (1) - slight blanket
• 00:51:126 (6) - stack instead
• 00:59:850 (6) - stack with (7) instead
• 01:37:044 (6,7) - switch place, it will increase step jump (3,4,5,6) better
• 01:41:177 (3,4) - not flow well with the song, maybe (4) to end of (2) slider

Icant do higher diffs /;w;\ *cry at corner*
There's my mod, good luck

00:33:371 (1,2) – DS might be a little big, blanketing 00:32:912 (6,1) – might help k

00:39:034 (6,2) – Can these be a little farther apart? They look too cramped 00:39:034 (6) - has dissapeared at the moment when 00:39:493 (2) - appears, imo its pretty minor

00:42:248 (4,5,1) – and 00:42:708 (1,2,3) – These patterns have the same flow, but the music is pretty different on each of these patterns (in that 00:43:167 (2) – is significantly higher pitched), so I strongly recommend not using repetition here. Especially since 00:41:942 (2,3,4) – has a somewhat similar feel, I really suggest exploring a different pattern to use at 00:42:708 (1,2,3) – i like the flow here though i somehow get what you mean, any suggestions?

00:55:412 (7,8) – The DS felt a little small to me because slider leniency. By angling up 00:55:106 (5,6,7) - , you give yourself room to have 1.40 spacing between 00:55:412 (7,8) – like so: http://puu.sh/pywDj/5241b05d59.jpg tried to replicate

01:24:493 (5,6) – Consider a less aggressive drop off flow? http://puu.sh/pyxZN/b18fba9390.jpg naah, its supposed to cramped and 01:23:881 (3,4) - visually matching to 01:24:493 (5,6) - =v=

By using a polygon cirlce (since I think it could be structure nicer), I got something like this: http://puu.sh/pyxih/88c11372cb.jpg tried to change it a bit

01:40:106 (4) - missing hitsound?
01:43:779 (2) - ^
01:45:004 (6) - ^

01:48:983 (4) – NC?
all above done

Pretty fun, well structured map with nice patterns. Not much more to ask for. thank you :P

00:56:024 (9) - move the slider at 00:55:947 for better rhythm and same as 00:53:269 (6,7)
01:05:820 (4) - ^the piano notes here are emphasized more in this part, i don't think it's a good idea here
01:41:024 (3,4) - imperfect stack lmao

• 00:32:912 (6) - blanket k
• 00:38:422 (6) - ^ slightt its kkkkkkkkkk
• 00:39:799 (3,4) - switch place reason? it's a pattern im using in this and another of my diffs and i think the flow is pretty nice there
• 00:47:606 (1) - slight blanket @_@
• 00:51:126 (6) - stack instead reeeasoooonnn? this place is asking for a jump imo
• 00:59:850 (6) - stack with (7) instead reeeasoooooooooon? cause i wanted this pattern to go up and 01:00:004 (7,8) - from here down, due to inotonation change
• 01:37:044 (6,7) - switch place, it will increase step jump (3,4,5,6) better new 5,6 would have an insane DS, any suggestion? D:
• 01:41:177 (3,4) - not flow well with the song, maybe (4) to end of (2) slider o, i like this! fine

00:31:534 (5,6,7,8) - Would look nicer if you made them all parallel or something, they look messy
01:30:310 (5,6,7,8) - ^ thst's the point! D:
00:52:963 (1,1) - Why stack them here and not 00:51:432 (1,1) - ? for variety, i guess? o.o and because of lack of space 8D
00:59:544 (4,5) - Unstack these they are both pretty strong notes so they should be emphasized well, tried
01:04:289 (4,5) - ^ any suggestions on pattern?
00:55:871 (6) - Make this circle a kickslider to cover the blue tick note I think it's pretty important
01:00:769 (6) - ^ ... and others, I mean you covered it sometimes like 00:53:269 (1,1,1) - so why not do it to all ? because the piano sounds are more noticeable here, i'd like not to cover everything but only the main ones
01:31:534 (5,6,7,8,1) - Make this curve a bit better pls it looks like (7) is sticking out tried
01:37:350 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1) - Make this stream look more like a wave slider by making the curves a bit bigger, it's a bit too straight yeah, it's a bit too straight but i think it's better to make an easy curve to prevent players from missing some notes or smth, the rhythm has changed there back to 1/4 and i'd better do something simple instead D:
01:50:207 (1) - NC for the finish i had NC here initially though removed later. still not sure about this place

00:42:248 (4,5,1) – and 00:42:708 (1,2,3) –i like the flow here, though i somehow get what you mean, any suggestions?
Certainly. No kudosu obviously.

After reinspecting the pattern, I agree with you that the 00:42:708 (1,2,3,4) – flow is very nice, so I'll try changing the pattern before it at 00:41:636 (1,2,3,4,5) - . Notice that in my suggestions, I moved the jump into (4) instead of into (3), which I think fits the melody a little better. To achieve these patterns, you'll have to do Ctrl + H on all objects in the map at and after 00:42:708 (1) - .

This is the option I would take. Notice that 00:41:636 (1,2,3,5) - form a structured diamond which is why the (3,4) jump is a bit big.

If you go deeper like in 2b, you might be able to preserve the original NC and not have to do the Ctrl + H thing

00:40:718 (2,3,4,5,6,7)– Was moved upwards to make room, and the 1/1 pause allows for this. The (3,4) jump is big only to keep the 90 degree orientations for each beat, but this can be changed if this is too big for you. You're left with 00:42:708 (1) – being misplaced even after the flipping, so this would require some additional work.

The fourth option would be to keep what you have, and a fifth option would be to make your own.

Also, I'll throw this picture out there for you to reconsider 00:39:034 (6,2) -

The extra room is easy to achieve by doing a 5 degree rotation on 00:39:493 (2) - and 00:39:187 (1) - and then rotating/ adjusting 00:39:799 (3,4) – to compensate. Yeah it's minor, but sometimes these little things help.
