[General]

- Background is...1024x576. It's 16:9 but why not find a 1366x768 like a normal person

- Audio rate is higher than 192 kbps so you'll have to recompress the mp3

03:07:204 - extend the break start to here (if you don't take any other suggestion in this mod, make sure you take this one!)

- Delete any unused hitsounds (slidertick4)

[Insane]
  1. 00:10:204 (1,2,3,4) - flow is kinda weird here . maybe ctrlG on (4) and make it look neater
  2. 00:12:266 (6,7,8,9) - Personally, I wouldn't add jumps like this in this section of the song
  3. 00:13:204 (1,2,3,4,5) - ^
  4. 00:18:454 (8,9,1) - Personal preference, this pattern doesn't look like it fits very well
Maybe use a curve or something instead of zigzag?
(I would also move the next few sliders left a little bit to give the whole thing more shape, regardless of whether the above suggestion is taken or not)
    like
  5. 00:20:704 (5) - ctrl+G works here better imo
  6. 00:23:329 (6,7) - curve these more outwards to give more shape
  7. 00:28:204 (1,2,3,4) - this pattern is kinda meh . maybe like this
  8. 00:35:329 (3,4,5) - I dunno, these kind of patterns break flow a little bit too strongly for such a delicate song like this
  9. 00:36:079 (6,7,8,9,10,1) - same with jumps like this .. maybe just reduc jumps a little bit and make less harsher angles
  10. 00:42:454 (7,8,1) - triangle for visual?
  11. 00:49:954 (3,4) - make this neater
  12. 00:52:204 (1,2,3,4,5) - this is a nice pattern :3
  13. 00:56:329 (4,5,6) - what I mentioned earlier
  14. 00:59:329 (4,5) - looks kinda odd and breaks flow a little.. I wouldn't attempt a pattern like this in this part of the song
  15. 01:00:829 (8) - 2x better flow ctrl+G imo. then rotating it a little so that it looks good with the (7) and (1)
  16. 01:26:329 (4,5,6) - this one works nice here since the whole section is more jumpy and it fits the song
  17. 01:34:579 - I dunno, it seems a strange choice to leave this part empty. I think it'll make it much better if you map this section
It makes it more awkward because the (11) slider doesn't fit. You should make it a single hitcircle.
  18. 01:40:204 (1) - I think ctrl+G is better
  19. 03:01:204 - This section looks a bit messy. It's my personal opinion, but I think excessively curved sliders like (3) (4) (5) look a bit messy. I would make them curve less.
also the zigzag slider (6) is the same as the other zigzag slider from before... it just looks really out of place
  20. 03:32:704 (5,6,7,8,1) - nice :3
  21. 03:43:204 (1) - I think the curve here is a bit excessive to the point where it looks kinda strange
try to smoothen it out a little bit

I highly suggest breaking up your combos into 2 combos (NC on every bar)

[Normal]
  1. 00:10:204 (1,2,3,4,5) - maybe, like, make this an actual pentagon? :3
  2. 00:28:579 (1,2,3,4,5) - ^
  3. 00:53:704 (3,4,5,6,1) - ^
  4. 01:07:204 - add a note or extend the break to here
  5. 02:19:204 - ^
  6. 02:30:829 - note ^^
  7. 03:47:704 (3,4,5,6,1) - wow, like why is this randomly 1.1 spacing (also fix that pentagon)

Oh, you might want to get someone to check the rhythm of the beginning of this diff
I'd say there're problems but what do I know about rhythm

[Hard]
  1. 01:30:454 (7,8,1) - try to improve this pattern visually
  2. 01:33:454 (8,9,10) - make the spacing visually the same
  3. 01:34:204 (1) - note instead of slider
  4. 02:19:204 - note :3
  5. 02:30:829 - ^
  6. 01:37:204 (4) - OK GIRALDA TIME FOR A NC MOD. here we go. If you wanna be edgy and keep your 2-measure combos, you NEED a NC here.
otherwise your entire combo pattern becomes OFFSET by an entire measure. THIS IS TOTALLY UNRANKABLE.
NC fits here because songs are divided into 4 beats in one measure, but they can also be divided by 8 beats in two measures
    WHICH MEANS YOU WILL NEED ONE NC EVERY TWO MEASURES WHICH IS NOW 01:37:204 (4) - 01:37:204 (4) - 01:37:204 (4) - 01:37:204 (4) -
Then proceed to delete the next combo and add one 01:40:204 (6) - etc. etc.
you'll notice if you do this correctly that you will successfully NC the beginning of the kiai. baka Giralda.

It's the same here 03:16:204 (3) - YOU NEED TO NC THIS OTHERWISE THE SONG IS RUINED
  7. 04:07:204 (1) - Why does the spinner end where it does

Will fix all of these when I get the chance to. The break and audio bitrate will be done within the next 24 hours.

  1. 00:10:204 (1,2,3,4) - flow is kinda weird here . maybe ctrlG on (4) and make it look neater
  2. 00:12:266 (6,7,8,9) - Personally, I wouldn't add jumps like this in this section of the song It fits due to the banjo in the background music creating that jumpy feeling in the song.
  3. 00:13:204 (1,2,3,4,5) - ^ ^
  4. 00:18:454 (8,9,1) - Personal preference, this pattern doesn't look like it fits very well
Maybe use a curve or something instead of zigzag? I used the zigzag here as it emphasizes the introduction of the drum patterns here, as opposed to only the banjo being played prior to this point in time. Straight-styled sliders bring out heavy/stronger drum notes better than beziers and circular curves. The sudden stop at 9 by stacking on the end of 8 helps build momentum for the player to go up and then bring the cursor back down for a stronger drum-hitting feeling.
(I would also move the next few sliders left a little bit to give the whole thing more shape, regardless of whether the above suggestion is taken or not)
    like
  5. 00:20:704 (5) - ctrl+G works here better imo Continuing the circular/oval flow from 00:19:954 (3,4)
  6. 00:23:329 (6,7) - curve these more outwards to give more shape Trying to maintain circular flow here so I wouldn't
  7. 00:28:204 (1,2,3,4) - this pattern is kinda meh . maybe like this Adjusted my current pattern a bit.
  8. 00:35:329 (3,4,5) - I dunno, these kind of patterns break flow a little bit too strongly for such a delicate song like this Not necessarily, since 00:35:329 (3,4) emphasize strong vocal points. Circles help make these vocals stand out better than a 1/2 slider.
  9. 00:36:079 (6,7,8,9,10,1) - same with jumps like this .. maybe just reduc jumps a little bit and make less harsher angles These are used to emphasize vocals so these jumps fit accordingly
  10. 00:42:454 (7,8,1) - triangle for visual? This would require me to adjust nearly the entire kiai time since moving this would mess up my spacing and cause messy overlaps.
  11. 00:49:954 (3,4) - make this neater
  12. 00:52:204 (1,2,3,4,5) - this is a nice pattern :3
  13. 00:56:329 (4,5,6) - what I mentioned earlier Same response ~
  14. 00:59:329 (4,5) - looks kinda odd and breaks flow a little.. I wouldn't attempt a pattern like this in this part of the song Doesn't break flow imo, since 4 slightly curves into 5, which the wave slider is meant to match the changing vocal pitch.
  15. 01:00:829 (8) - 2x better flow ctrl+G imo. then rotating it a little so that it looks good with the (7) and (1) This was meant to be a simple movement going into circular flow. The circular flow at 01:00:829 (8,1,2) is much more important for me.
  16. 01:26:329 (4,5,6) - this one works nice here since the whole section is more jumpy and it fits the song
  17. 01:34:579 - I dunno, it seems a strange choice to leave this part empty. I think it'll make it much better if you map this section
It makes it more awkward because the (11) slider doesn't fit. You should make it a single hitcircle.

insane

  1. 00:11:704 (5,9) - because both of these objects' overlaps are visible at the same time, making them parallel would be less eww.
  2. 00:16:579 (3) - curve is not a curve. try moving the pseudo-grey anchor. i dont know but yea doubt it was intentional
  3. 00:37:579 (2,3,4,5,6) - nice pentagon you're an artist please do something about it
  4. 01:34:204 (11) - if you look at hard and normal, this object has a new combo, but on insane nope. same sort of deal with 02:41:704 (4) - , but there's no combo for this object on all diffs. across all diffs, these objects should share same comboing stuffs
  5. 01:41:704 (7,1) - i assume you've got that new combo because of the nasty overlaps, but even so, it would make more sense to swap these combos since 7 is where that newish section starts and it also has a nasty overlap with 01:41:141 (4) -
  6. 01:42:641 (2,3) - spacing between these is really small compared to like everyhwere ever. don't really see why they should be so close together when the exact same musical thing at 00:30:454 (7,8) - has normal spacing. do larger k
  7. 01:47:141 (4,6) - having these overlap exactly looks really weird. you'd usually think not-precise overlaps like 01:48:454 (8,10) - would be worse, but they seem to fit a lot better than this current exactly-in-middle-placement. you do that same sort of offset placement everywhere, like 00:56:141 (3,6) - 01:14:891 (6,7) - etc, and it fits better than what you've currently got here. 02:07:016 (11,2) - same deal if you're into it
  8. 01:55:766 (2,4) - copy/pasting then moving straight sliders usually looks fine since they're parallel, but doing so for curved sliders looks really gross becuase of blanketish stuff. would be better to rotate 4 or something like that so it's just less gross. can't even explain why just please it hurts
  9. 02:18:079 (9) - 03:39:079 (9) - dunno why you're ignoring the finishes here. they're audible in the song and you put a finish in this position during the first kiai at 01:06:079 (9) - yet not the second and third. should just add them to those other two places (or remove the first one but uh bad since finish is in music ya). applies to other diffs toooooooooooo
  10. 02:25:954 (3) - the not-curve on this seems a bit overdone. the head and tail of the slider are even touching which could easily be avoided with a shape similar to 02:26:329 (4) - .
  11. 02:45:829 (8,1) - epicenter of gross strikes again
  12. 03:38:329 (5) - 03:39:079 (9) - both of these should be at y182 to match the line thing going through 03:37:954 (3,4,5) - and 03:39:079 (9) - yaknow this thing
  13. 03:48:829 (9) - why touching other objects in the pentagon move it further away like 03:49:204 (1) - yeayayeaye
  14. 04:07:016 (1) - the guitar chord comes in earlier than the red tick here, so ummmmmmm snapping object to red tick not good. doesn't sound like any standard snapping would work out very well for this because of music reasons, so it would be better to either not map it entirely or encode the mp3 with that part capable of snapping to the red tick (told you about this ingame but you didn't care so ooookaaaaaay)

hard

  1. 00:48:641 (7,1) - it would probably be better to do a custom-stack thing with these objects, since it's visually awkward when compared to teh auto-stack done with 00:49:204 (1,2) - . would look like this ingame with a custom stack, which is much less wat and much more mmmm
  2. 01:18:079 (1) - really not understand the point of the new combo here. insane doesn't have one so why does this one object deserve its own combo
  3. 01:56:704 (1) -

    don't be a lump
  4. 02:19:204 (4) - whatever you went with for the comboing stuff at 01:34:204 (11) - on insane should be done here. so if 01:34:204 (11) - got a NC, this should too, and other way around
  5. 03:17:704 (1) -

so the "hue" reply means you didn't fix it cuz it's still broken
  6. 03:36:454 (4,5) - what i said about 01:55:766 (2,4) - in insane would apply here if you did that
  7. 04:07:016 (4) - new combo stuff is inconsistent with object in the same position on insane. do something it doesnt even matter what just something

normal

  1. 01:38:704 (1) - lock your doors there have been reports of the kombo killer near your area. he's closer than you'd think. your combos are off by a measure sttop}}'agbv
  2. 02:46:204 (1) - not understanding why this slider is a 2 beat long reversething. like there's nothing in the song indicating it should be more extended than anything else and this is the onlyyyy one. it also screws up your clap hitsounding completely because there's nothing on these ticks to support claps. if you were to shorten this to a 1.5 beat slider and add a circle on the following downbeat things would be a lot more sense
  3. 02:49:204 (4,5) - what is distance snap
  4. 02:50:704 (1) - is this familiar?
  5. 03:17:704 (1) - im gonna punch you these combos are as good as my air conditioning which is broken it's like 80 degrees at 3am how can i sleep in such heat and with the kNOWLEDGE THAT YOUR COMBOS ARE GARBAGE

1024×576 why

I took the original image and upscaled it from 1100×619 to 1366×768, then applied a selective/surface blur to smooth out the artifacts that resulted from upscaling. here is the image with only that change:
I also made two more versions. This first alternate has some extra color adjustment:
This second alternate has some extra luminance adjustment (basically just the original w/ buffed contrast):

-how about a snap hitsound instead of soft-clap? http://puu.sh/cAKE7/bd943e0f57.zip
imo it sounds really good on soft songs like this. just an idea, up to you if u take it or not
-offset -10~15 imo. i hit 50% mistimed on Normal ._.

[Normal]
01:37:297 - combo pattern starting from here isn't consistent with rest of the map. try add NC on 01:37:297 (3) - , remove NC on 01:38:797 (1) - , etc? not really a problem, just noticing
02:49:297 (4,5) - spacing
03:04:297 (1) - 5% ending? up to you (if u accept, change on other diffs too)
03:17:797 - same as 01:37:297 -

[Hard]
01:11:234 (4) - dont get why missing hitnormal here o.o
01:27:547 (8) - not sure what pattern it's following. mb make it perpendicular to 01:27:922 (9) - ? just suggestion
01:55:297 - combo pattern starting from here isn't consistent with rest of the map. try remove NC on 01:56:797 (1) - , add NC on 01:58:297 (5) - , etc.?
01:59:422 (8) - make symmetrical pattern with 01:59:047 (7) - ? looks more nice imo http://puu.sh/cAKaP/a9f72a8ec3.jpg
03:16:297 - same as 01:55:297

[Insane]
01:00:547 (7) - imo ctrl+G and move closer to 01:00:359 (6) is better flow. up to you
01:11:047 (3) - same as [Hard]
01:14:984 (6) - ctrl+G? just suggestion
01:57:734 (7) - missing hitnormal on start?
02:26:047 (3) - missing hitnormal on end?
03:02:422 (4) - remove hitnormal? i get hitsounds are supposed to be different here, but imo it sounds out of place to have 2 consecutive hitnormals > < also, missing clap on start?
03:20:797 (4,5,6) - imo u might as well use soft-whistle here to emphasize music, since u did it before. up to you
03:32:797 (5,6,7) - imo soft-whistle instead of soft-clap is better to emphasize the music here. up to you
03:38:797 (7,8) - spacing too close
03:39:172 (9) - finish on start?
03:30:734 (7) - move it closer to 03:29:797 (5) ? makes structure more consistent imo
03:33:922 (8) - would recommend rotate it a bit for symmetric pattern. http://puu.sh/cAHKX/a63a3c7f9c.jpg

map is fine, just suggestions. hope it helps, good luck \:D/

  14. 04:07:016 (1) - the guitar chord comes in earlier than the red tick here, so ummmmmmm snapping object to red tick not good. doesn't sound like any standard snapping would work out very well for this because of music reasons, so it would be better to either not map it entirely or encode the mp3 with that part capable of snapping to the red tick (told you about this ingame but you didn't care so ooookaaaaaay)

hard

  1. 00:48:641 (7,1) - it would probably be better to do a custom-stack thing with these objects, since it's visually awkward when compared to teh auto-stack done with 00:49:204 (1,2) - . would look like this ingame with a custom stack, which is much less wat and much more mmmm
  2. 01:18:079 (1) - really not understand the point of the new combo here. insane doesn't have one so why does this one object deserve its own combo
  3. 01:56:704 (1) -

    Frostings wrote:

OK GIRALDA TIME FOR A NC MOD.
WHICH MEANS YOU WILL NEED ONE NC EVERY TWO MEASURES
    don't be a lump
  4. 02:19:204 (4) - whatever you went with for the comboing stuff at 01:34:204 (11) - on insane should be done here. so if 01:34:204 (11) - got a NC, this should too, and other way around
  5. 03:17:704 (1) -

so the "hue" reply means you didn't fix it cuz it's still broken
  6. 03:36:454 (4,5) - what i said about 01:55:766 (2,4) - in insane would apply here if you did that
  7. 04:07:016 (4) - new combo stuff is inconsistent with object in the same position on insane. do something it doesnt even matter what just something

normal

  1. 01:38:704 (1) - lock your doors there have been reports of the kombo killer near your area. he's closer than you'd think. your combos are off by a measure sttop}}'agbv
  2. 02:46:204 (1) - not understanding why this slider is a 2 beat long reversething. like there's nothing in the song indicating it should be more extended than anything else and this is the onlyyyy one. it also screws up your clap hitsounding completely because there's nothing on these ticks to support claps. if you were to shorten this to a 1.5 beat slider and add a circle on the following downbeat things would be a lot more sense
  3. 02:49:204 (4,5) - what is distance snap
  4. 02:50:704 (1) - is this familiar?
  5. 03:17:704 (1) - im gonna punch you these combos are as good as my air conditioning which is broken it's like 80 degrees at 3am how can i sleep in such heat and with the kNOWLEDGE THAT YOUR COMBOS ARE GARBAGE

-how about a snap hitsound instead of soft-clap? http://puu.sh/cAKE7/bd943e0f57.zip
imo it sounds really good on soft songs like this. just an idea, up to you if u take it or not I prefer the default clap as it fits well with the harmony
-offset -10~15 imo. i hit 50% mistimed on Normal ._. I'll confirm this with my timer

01:14:984 (6) - ctrl+G? just suggestion Unfortunately this wasn't what I was trying to interpret with the music xD
03:33:922 (8) - would recommend rotate it a bit for symmetric pattern. http://puu.sh/cAHKX/a63a3c7f9c.jpg Not exactly what I was aiming for ~

map is fine, just suggestions. hope it helps, good luck \:D/

Thanks for the mods~ No reply means fixed or applied!
@pishifat: I think I did everything for Normal and Hard idk.
@pieguy1372: the new combo stuff had previously been addressed by pishifat's mod already. Thank you!

02:06:547 (5,6) - personally I think these should be combined into a slider, I feel like the follows the vocal better

03:24:547 (5,6) - same as earlier, follows vocal better imo

Hard

00:06:547 (5) - make the face towards 00:07:297 (1) - I think this blanket looks nice~

00:35:797 (6) - make a blanket for 00:36:547 (8) -

02:55:297 (1) - have this face 02:55:859 (2) - I feel like this flows better

03:15:547 (1,2) - have these 2 swap position like so this feels better to play to me

Insane

00:31:859 (2) - move to x96 Y256 I feel like this flows more and the jump from 2-3 is more emphasized

02:35:797 (6,7) - Blanket here?

hope this helps

Highly recommending you change anything highlighted in blue.

[General]

  1. The break delays on all difficulties end a tick early, should be on the downbeat.
  2. Preview time still unsnapped.

[Normal]

  1. Use something like AR4, HP3 or 4, OD3 or 4. The current settings are too high for the easiest difficulty and don't make for a nice balance in the mapset.
  2. 01:00:734 (5) - Rhythm feels incomplete. I would avoid skipping 01:00:922 - and follow the music with a 1/1 rhythm similar to the other kiai sections.
  3. 01:53:797 (4) - Spacing can be evened out here.
  4. 02:18:172 (4) - I think this is supposed to have a finish, not a clap.
  5. 02:54:172 (2) - A normal sample on the tail sounds more fitting to me.
  6. 02:54:547 (7) - Here on the tail too.
  7. 03:24:172 (2) - Sounds like this should just be a soft-clap, I would remove the normal sample.
  8. 03:39:547 (3) - Missed a normal sample on the repeat for consistency.
  9. 04:05:047 (2,3) - Listening to what (3) is mapped to this rhythm sounds like filler. Try something this so you can bring out what (4) is mapped to:

Parts like 00:07:297 (1,2,3,4) - and 00:14:797 (3,4) - were a bit strange since you're mapping weak background music over predominant vocals. I would personally keep the rhythm on white ticks for these parts, vocals are generally easier to follow for players of this level of course.
[Hard]

  1. 00:28:859 (2) - Consider removing the whistle on the head, it accentuates nothing.
  2. 00:34:859 (2,3,4,5) - I hope you can consider rearranging this combo to make it flow more nicely, I'm finding I need to make awkward cursor motions just to land these sharp direction changes.
  3. 00:41:422 (3) - Should be a clap on the head.
  4. 01:16:859 (2) - Clap on head instead of whistle.
  5. 02:00:359 (6) - Did you mean to stack this on the tail of 01:59:797 (5) - ? Looks a bit strange.
  6. 03:24:172 (7) - I don't know if you want to have a normal sample on the head haha.

[Insane]

  1. 00:50:422 (4) - Missed a clap on the head.
  2. 01:05:609 (6) - Remove clap.
  3. 02:18:172 (9) - On the tail.
  4. 02:30:547 (1,1,1) - Cool idea here but unlike 02:29:797 (1,1,1) this part is left quite undermapped as you can hear the drums go, I would consider adding notes between these.
  5. 02:45:172 (6,7) - Four consecutive claps, something doesn't sound right here. Remove the clap on the head of (7) and add a normal sample to its tail.
  6. 03:24:172 (6) - It's that darn normal sample again.
  7. 03:25:297 (1) - Aw man, you should really follow the background music instead of cover it with this slider. I think you could do something to follow the violin action at this part, it would be really cool.
  8. 03:50:797 (6,7,8,9) - Hitsounding in this combo sounds messed up and doesn't reflect the music properly. Remove clap on the head of (6), remove the normal sample on the head of (7), replace the clap with a whistle on the head of (8), and remove the claps on the tails of (8) and (9) to fix.
  9. 04:07:297 (1) - You may want to reduce the volume of the spin to at least 20% so a loud spin isn't playing over the fade. Apply to other diffs if you do.

Not much to say here. Plays awesome as you already know!

  1. AR8.5 is kinda fast for my eyes nvm
  2. Where are combo colors?

[■ Insane]
  1. 00:12:359 (6,7,8) - I don't think this jump fits this part :( since it seems the circles have been placed somehow ignored the song, I would like to make the rhythm easier or easier jump. example:
  2. 01:44:422 (4,6) - This pattern will be hard to read on HR or DT T_t
  3. 01:48:734 (9) - is the drum clap necessary thing? this sounds kinda weird for me
  4. 01:59:422 (4) - I prefer straight one like 01:59:047 (3) - ww
  5. 02:12:547 (7,8) - this is my personal preference, I would remake a square to jump at 02:12:922 (9) - the jump currently feels kinda strange? for this diff because there are always mini jumps in the diff (NO IDEA WHAT I WANNA SAY) well I meant current pattern doesn't fit there with the slider form imo
  6. 03:33:359 (6) - remove clap? feels like out of place to me

[■ Hard]

  • HP-1? for spread like 3-5-7 ww no one cares

  1. 02:19:297 break start at here must be betterrrrrr

Thanks for the mod Delis! Did everything except for the clap at 03:33:359 (6) on the Insane, since that's how the clap patterns work in the song. I know, it's weird how it works but I can't do anything about it T_T
