I highly suggest swapping the Given/Family names of the romanized artists so they go by Family Given.

  1. Source/tags should be Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica
  2. Also change kyoko to kyouko because I think that type of romanization is in the ranking criteria
  3. 02:38:078 (1) - Silence the end of the spinner? Like 5-10% volume
[Easy]
  1. 00:12:158 (1) - You can still end the spinner on 00:15:518 since this is a low bpm song. 1 beat of reaction time should still be enough.
  2. 00:52:478 (1) - Shorten to a 1.5 beat repeat slider so it can repeat on a significant note, and map the note at 00:54:398
  3. 01:17:438 (1,1) - Consider deleting the slider and ending the spinner where the slider used to start, since there isn't any other good place to end the spinner.

  12. 02:09:038 - Since this is the hardest difficulty, you shouldn't really ignore any prominent vocals like this one.
  13. 02:15:518 (1,1,1) - You don't need new combo spam when all the notes are the same spacing and timing. Remove NC on all of these.
  14. 02:16:958 (1,2,3) - Since the slider's straight, I'm assuming you want the circles after it to go in the same direction. The last one is a little too high.

  16. 02:34:718 (2) - Try making this a 1/2 repeating slider so you don't outright ignore the vocal, which sounds really awkward in hard/insanes.

This diff plays pretty well but the jumps are a bit big, but that's just my opinion. :P Some parts are a little messy but overall it's decent.

[Hitsounds]
Your hitsounding could use some work. Now I'm no expert to hitsounding by any means but I can help your map with some basic stuff. I'll be looking at Mirai difficulty, but these should apply to the same times at all diffs.
  1. 00:15:998 - From this point on, claps should be on every 2nd and 4th white tick because that's where you hear loud drum hits. 00:16:478 and 00:17:438 for example. Use this pattern throughout the rest of the song until near the end, except for places where the drum hits are absent again like 01:11:678 section.
  2. Avoid using finishes at places like 00:31:118 (8) - and 00:36:878 unless you hear a crashing cymbal in the music. I only listed two places you had finishes, but go through and remove all of the ones that don't have the crashing cymbal sound. Ones like 00:44:558 (1) - are okay because I do hear the sound there.
  3. 00:46:238 (6,7) - these two are much louder drum hits so they should clap.
  4. I know the least about whistles, but usually their general pattern is every 1st and 3rd white tick, which means the long white tick and short white tick exactly between two long white ticks.
It's a nice song and as I said before, the map is pretty decent, so I hope you'll manage to get this ranked!

This diff plays pretty well but the jumps are a bit big, but that's just my opinion. :P Some parts are a little messy but overall it's decent. fixed some jumps and organized them too xD i actually did do that but apparently i lost the progress somehow?

[Hitsounds]
Your hitsounding could use some work. Now I'm no expert to hitsounding by any means but I can help your map with some basic stuff. I'll be looking at Mirai difficulty, but these should apply to the same times at all diffs.
  1. 00:15:998 - From this point on, claps should be on every 2nd and 4th white tick because that's where you hear loud drum hits. 00:16:478 and 00:17:438 for example. Use this pattern throughout the rest of the song until near the end, except for places where the drum hits are absent again like 01:11:678 section. alright
  2. Avoid using finishes at places like 00:31:118 (8) - and 00:36:878 unless you hear a crashing cymbal in the music. I only listed two places you had finishes, but go through and remove all of the ones that don't have the crashing cymbal sound. Ones like 00:44:558 (1) - are okay because I do hear the sound there. there wasnt a finish at 31 but ill keep that in mind
  3. 00:46:238 (6,7) - these two are much louder drum hits so they should clap. fixed
  4. I know the least about whistles, but usually their general pattern is every 1st and 3rd white tick, which means the long white tick and short white tick exactly between two long white ticks. i used whistles every beat at kiai and i just followed the instrumentals everywhere else xD

  1. Since you don't have a storyboard, you can uncheck the Widescreen Support option (in the Song Setup).

Easy

  1. 00:04:478 (1) - Not sure if you forgot, but the tail could have a whistle, as there's a "bell" sound in the music. So since there's a note on the beat, you can fill it with a whistle. There's also 00:06:398 (3) .
  2. 00:04:478 (1,3) - On those bodies, you added a whistle, which sounds weird. I suggest to remove them.
  3. 00:09:758 (2,3,4) - Nazi. Move them to x:264 y:180, then 00:10:238 (3,4) to x:313 y:266. The thing is that 00:09:758 (2,3,4) could be the same line perfectly with 00:08:318 (1) -'s curve.
  4. 00:17:438 (2,4) - Add claps on those two to follow the clap in the music. Try this clap hitsound (reduce the volume of this hitsound to 20%, which means that when you add a clap on a note, you should add a point with a 20% volume on the note, then add another point with the same volume as before (30%) on the next tick).
  5. 00:21:278 (2,4) - ^
    There's also 00:25:118 (2,3,4) - , 00:28:958 (2) . You should add claps on the 2nd and 4th white ticks.
  6. 00:38:558 (4) - The distance between this and the previous object breaks the constant distance snap. Moving this to x:120 y:365 should fix the problem.
  7. 01:25:118 (1) - There's also this one. Move 01:24:638 (4) to x:137 y:265.
  8. 01:28:478 (1) - I was thinking of a note on 01:28:478 -, then an 1/1 slider on 01:28:958 . The head gets a more "stronger" beat on the downbeat. So I thought it sounded better.
  9. 01:36:638 (3,1) - Swap the new combo. There's an emphasis at 01:36:638 . There's 01:40:478 (3) you need to add a new combo.
  10. 02:01:598 (6) - This note should have a new combo, since the beat is strong there. It also follows the new combo pattern. And remove it from 02:03:518 (1) .
  11. 02:18:398 (2) - Move this to x:210 y:314 to fix the inconstant distance. It'll also be in the middle of the two sliders.
  12. 02:28:478 (5) - Add a new combo to follow the pattern.
  13. 02:29:918 - Maybe a note on this tick? It should complete the kiai mode.

  1. 00:17:918 (1) - Remove the finish on the head. There's no emphasis beat here. There's also 00:19:838 (1) .
  2. 00:44:558 (4) - Add a new combo on the head. This beat changes the music. You add one to 01:49:838 (1) .
  3. 00:51:038 - Try adding a note there. The slider 00:50:798 (4) sounded weird, but okay.
  4. 02:24:158 (1) - The repeat is, in my opinion, is not strong for this beat in the music. I suggest to add a 1/2 slider on 02:24:158 , then a 1/1 slider on 02:24:638 . It also follows with the vocals.

  1. 00:08:798 (3) - The three previous objects goes on a straight line, but the slider (3) decides to curve, which breaks the flow (in my opinion). The best way to fix it is to make 00:08:318 (1,2,3) a triangle pattern:

    Sorry but I'm not a fan of this type of Normal but I would point out that some notes still inconsistent in DS like this one 01:12:638 (2,3,4) - 01:12:638 (2,3) - DS=1.12 (1.1 ish) but 01:13:358 (3,4) - DS= 1.18(1.2 ish) Also you can decrease the amout of sliders and add more circles for this diff

Then they will also spin wildly, usually drawing along the perimeter of the screen. Once the spinner is complete, they will be most probably disoriented and wondering where their cursor is. This is the reason why if you have a spinner in the middle of a mapped phrase, you should allow for as much time as possible for recovery. A good rule of thumb is 3-4 beats after a spinner, but this can vary depending on BPM.

00:55:358 (2,3) - This is really weird because of the overlap and the fact that the music doesn't really change all that much, so the anti-jump is just odd. Possibly make these regular jumps, it has the same amount of impact without destroying the flow

01:10:238 (2,3,4,5,6) - This feels out of place mostly because everything else is nicely distance snapped, so having all of these random jumps is a bit off

The biggest issue with this map is the hitsound inconsistency. Which sucks because the hitsounds are cool, but a lot of times I'll just be missing nitpicky things. Go through every diff and make sure the hitsounds are as consistent as you can make them.

Get like 3-4 more mods then bug me about this.

Also I'm trying to find the correct metadata for this but I can't, so if anybody has the Volume 5 Blu-Ray/DVD set of Madoka, can you be a broksi and check that out for me thx

  1. 00:04:958 (2,3) - considering you emphasized the bell noise stuff with whistles, you should emphasize them with your mapping as well. by this, i mean not having the stronger beat on the end of the slider, which happens with (2) here. if you were to ctrl+G 00:04:958 (2,3) - so that their rhythms switch, things would be emphasized properly according to your hitsounds. same would apply to 00:06:398 (1,2,3) - . more on active/passive hitsounding can be found here if you're interested. also, your normal diff does emphasis stuff correctly there
  2. 00:12:278 (1) - shouldn't this have a whistle since it's the same bell noise as other places with whistles
  3. 00:18:878 (3,4,5,6,1) - you probably already know about it, but when making star shapes (or anything else actually), it can be a lot neater by using the compose>create polygon circles tool. you can see the difference in neatness between your original and a version using that tool. would apply to any other star shapes you've got, like 00:37:598 (2,3,4,5,6) - and other shapes like 00:45:038 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - etc
  4. 00:21:758 (1,2) - might make sense to ctrl+g these (for the rhythm thing again), since the vocal "ni" would be better represented by the 1 beat long slider and the 1/2 beat vocals would be better represented with the 1/2 beat slider.

  1. 02:22:238 (2) - should really get rid of this and do what you do at 02:06:398 (2,3) - and 01:48:638 (2,3) - and the other times it happens. the red tick there is way stronger than anything else around it, so you kinda need an object there. following usual rhythm there is fine and good and consistent and yay i changed the rhythm at both spots since i found one that suited the music better
  2. 02:23:678 (3) - if you don't happen to change that rhythm thing, this should have a whistle on the head.
  3. 02:24:638 (1,2,3,4,1) - no idea what's going on with the finishes here lol fixed
  4. 02:35:678 (5) - assuming the whistle on 02:33:758 (3) - was intentional, this should have a whistle. if not, (3) shouldn't added
  5. not really my preference when it comes to flow stuff, but i won't mention something that subjective here and i have math homework i should be doing so your map is perfect ok.
