Pretty fine with anything, as long as it's not heavy with hip-hip or rap.

Songs that I like because its more enjoyable that way (which does include anime songs and cheesy yet catchy pop songs, but not limited to them)
EVERYTHING but I feel the choices aren't wide enough so that is what I had to go with. I tend to avoid toohoo tho

A lot of my plays are anime openings and BMS tracks though, and vocaloid.

Most music I really like hasn't been mapped/can't be mapped. Grumd can map some of these kind of songs, though!

Now I'm starting to like old maps a lot with the songs from Haru, who makes all those sexy instrumentals.
I did download all the Touhou maps because of my fandom, but it gets boring playing the same kind of rythmn over and over again.
I really hate 95% of the Vocaloid songs that are mapped, especially the ones Val maps. Though Scarlet Rose is a sexy song.

I search osu! for new songs to add to my collection. Most of my songs on my ipod are Vocaloid, and a lot of them stem from finding then on the osu! beatmap listings. I learned of songs like Rolling Girl, Kagero Days, Hatsune Miku no Tomadai, Hitohira no, etc. just by the recently ranked songs. Not a fan of touhou, though.
I play a good amount of english songs.. songs from the 90s are particularly enjoyable for me. other than that it's IIDX/BMS/DJMAX and some touhou remixes. Not too fond of nightcore and most TV size maps (if it's from an anime i didn't watch i probably wouldn't enjoy the song as much, sorry)
