Mod from modding queue~
[General]
- I'm not even sure if a kiai time is necessary for this song, it doesn't feel like it's needed. If you want to keep it though, then make sure that the kiai time is set properly in your map at the same places.
This also means that your easy map should have kiai time at 01:02:819 - . - Disable Widescreen support (you have no storyboard) and letterboxes(you have no longer breaks in your mapset).
- You'll need a hitsound for those 'kicks'. Search at LK's hitsound pack for them, you'll find some good ones: https://osu.ppy.sh/u/LKs
- I'm not sure about enabling the countdown for this map, it just works against the music to be honest. I think it's better if you put it off.
[Easy]
- If you really want this to be an easy map, you have to lower down your slider speed - currently, it is at 1.40 which is just way too high for an easy one. It usually goes up to 1.0 only (1.2 is very much the borderline), 0.8 is the most regular SV for easy maps as I could see. Unfortunately, this also means you have to remap a bit since the sloder will all be off. ;-;
From the ranking criteria section:
The difficulties in the mapset must be in a consecutive order. The order can be seen in the chart below. If your mapset has two difficulties, one of them cannot be an Insane or Expert. The lowest difficulty must be below 2.0 stars. The difficulty level of Taiko-specific and osu!mania-specific difficulties must also follow a well-designed spread and might contain an Hard/Insane only, if there are standard difficulties present. In CtB, the spread evaluation is upon the BATs discretion. The difficulty spread is determined by the map's star rating. A map falls under a certain difficulty when having a specific star rating:
Below 1.5: Easy
Below 2.25: Normal
Below 3.75: Hard
Below 5.25: Insane
Above 5.25: Expert
- 00:07:434 (1,2) - Slider 2 ends on a hard beat actually, which usually doesn't sound great. Just ctrl+g these two objects and reposition them, so the timeline looks like http://puu.sh/blECN/54c50be457.jpg
- 00:25:896 - Set a NC here, 2 stanzas are over already.
[Normal]
- 00:51:742 (1,2) - Only do this if it fits to your style: Blanket these sliders: http://puu.sh/blFts/8e9c5cd506.jpg
There are some more of these in your map, but since i don't know if you even intended these, I'll leave it by this one note. Blanket sliders just makes the map look better.
[Hard]
- 00:05:588 (1,2,3,4,1) - Stacking is okay, but I think this one is better to play: 00:05:588 (1,2,3,4,1) - .
- 00:11:357 (2) - The slider ends on a hard beat. The problem with ending sliders on hard beats is that it feels very unnatural, since these are emphasized notes - so placing clickable objects (circle, slider start) on these is the much better way.
It's easily avoidable by just ctrl+g these two notes 00:11:126 (1,2) - and reposition them. - 00:21:280 (3,4,5) - The distance increase from 4->5 may complement well with the music, but it looks pretty weird. Just use equal distances here and it's fine.
- 00:33:050 - You miss a hard beat here, please set a circle at this position.
It's good that you started with an easy song to map, most mapping newbies try to map something way out of their league.
The maps are pretty decent, really not bad for one of your first works. I think this doesn't need to many mods until you can ask for a BAT to watch over it.
That's all from me so far, good luck!
