The mapping was pretty cool and I didn't want to interfere with the style so looked a bit into the hit sound volume lolkk
01:15:005 (3,4,5) - this is sneaky same pattern but faster, maybe alter the pattern a bigger triangle or smaller triangle or another pattern if you're talkin about the DS I want to keep ti honestly but since a lot of people have said this is p bad by now I'll change it

  1. the highlight.png is pretty dark, maybe try making it the colour it is except brighter instead of darker? it'd look nicer, but you'd probably also need to decrease the opacity a little so it doesn't look too distracting
  2. basically the same for ring.png, try using this and decreasing the opacity a little to minimize distractions
  3. 04:18:422 - maybe from here up until the kiai time, make the lyrics in the storyboard fade a little/decrease the opacity with them, making them a bit more transparent each time (what i mean: "lean into my side" won't be as faded as "call the chants inside" and "never felt alive" will be the most faded (but still readable) since it's the most quiet one by that time since the vocals get quieter towards the kiai time you feel me)
  4. 03:34:339 - maybe chill out a little on the crystallize effect - you can still use it, but probably don't crystallize it so much (or simpler, go into photoshop again and redo the frames in the crystallize frames, using a smaller cell size)
  5. 03:34:339 - mentioning this part again because i like the way the highlight follows the notes in the song nice job kiddo
  6. did you use combo colours or am i just not seeing them? either way, i think they'd kinda suit the map but it's up to you whether or not you want to add them :^)
  7. 05:43:672 - same suggestion as before about the faded text, maybe try it here again since the vocals are quieter here too

overall, nice job with the map and storyboard, very nicely done

  2. i think adding a blurred background of the monochrome bg would be pretty good during the parts of the song where there's vocals that fades out back into the non-blurred background when there aren't vocals anymore would look pretty neat

k 1st of all during the first part i can see a few spacing issues that have caused me to get 100s while sight reading.

00:06:005 (8,9,10,11,1) - too close to 00:05:505 (7) . can use NC as well.
00:20:339 (2) dont hide this note? doesnt follow the music
00:18:172 (5) - could use anti flow
00:20:339 (2,3,4,5,6,1,2) - i suggest you map the louder part of the music.
00:20:172 - why no note here? you decided to map the background part of the music, but this is where it starts

00:35:339 (4,5) - u have 1/2 over lapped notes then you have the same overlapped 1/4 here 00:36:089 (2,3) - , which is really confusing to read

I feel like 5:35:339 is the ending but i have it mapped now :)
I don't hear 00:43:172 really there is no note there just a stop from the previous note, it becomes no sound right there, no note needed.
Added the 1/8 at 03:10:339 ;)

  • I'm not a SToryBorder but i can give you some suggestion since imo you need some,i'm not discussing the SB quality but just some parts of it:
  1. Text: personally i don't like the font that you used because i think it soesent fit generally with the BG and the rest of the SB you can use http://www.dafont.com/ for finding some more light formd fornt and not Arial, why don't you try to go for softer colours and give a fade to the words and an outer light wich is easier to do with photoshop,
  2. suggestion: 00:22:339 - here you have a tranformation wich is really nice but imo you should start to change the colour of the background on 00:21:005 - but on 00:22:339 - wich would be perfect with the loop that you choise for this part
    You should ask a SBorder to help you with a mod since imo it really needs one on the SB

  2. I wanted to say something in general to the diff , is not bad but you have some points wich imo forgotten to be mapped tike:
    03:01:172 - you can totally listen the sound in background wich you even mapped before so you should do with this one aswell to keep everything consistant and balanced in your diff
    03:04:339 (6,7) - here you mapped this kind of sound in a totally different way and not in 1/8
    03:06:839 (4,5) - same again here
    03:09:672 (5,6) - same
    03:15:005 (5) - same
    03:17:672 (6,7) - same and so on,try to keep thins kind of sound consistant with the rhythm that you give to it,so you should totally check really good one by one this kind of sounds and change the rhythm to the patterns
  3. 02:48:672 (1) - imo here you should use 1/4 rhythm since it looks a bit overmapped with 1/8
  4. about the usage of patterns you got really much incostency because somethimes when you have to use 1/8 you use 1/4 or even 1/2 and in some parts wich is generally the rhythm of the song id alive you let it die with slow sliders like in this case 03:21:005 (1,2) -
  5. the flow in general between the patterns is not really good in some parts for example 00:32:339 (1,2,3,4,1) - here
    here is how i see your flow the problem is basicly in the end but you can re-do this pattern in this way to have a nice and smooooty flow:
  6. try to look on some aproved dnb maps for having some jump inspiration because imo you need some more cute one ;_; and imo in the slower part of the map try to not use so many circles :V

some general suggestion sorry about but you need really much work on this map ;_; gl i give you a star because i love the song <3 gl

  3. 02:48:672 (1) - imo here you should use 1/4 rhythm since it looks a bit overmapped with 1/8 dam
  4. about the usage of patterns you got really much incostency because somethimes when you have to use 1/8 you use 1/4 or even 1/2 and in some parts wich is generally the rhythm of the song id alive you let it die with slow sliders like in this case 03:21:005 (1,2) - kek get rekt
  5. the flow in general between the patterns is not really good in some parts for example 00:32:339 (1,2,3,4,1) - here
    here is how i see your flow the problem is basicly in the end but you can re-do this pattern in this way to have a nice and smooooty flow:

yo uh i think what it means is that when the transformation at 00:22:339 happens, you should also have the colour changing from monochrome to full colour at the same time as the transformation instead of the colour changing from 00:21:005 so it looks more uh "aesthetically appealing" or something idk how to say it

  1. The map is still somewhat beginnerish, but I think you know that yourself :) . I noticed a lot of irregular spacing at places where it shouldn't change, and there wasn't really a great flow. But I see those things a lot with new mappers
  2. I am surprised that no one noticed this but the BPM is unnecessarily doubled. Nothing in the music would make it 180, but rather 90 (don't forget to double the SV)
  3. Slidertick rate is a bit overkill in such a calm song, I suggest changing this to 1, or let it stay at 2 if you apply my bpm change.
  4. The purple combo color (Combo 2) blends a lot with the background. Consider making this one a bit lighter/darker to avoid this.
  5. If Nerodae mapped the intro (I don't know how much), it's kind of like a collab and you should add him to the tags. I'm not sure if this has to be done, but I would do it.
  6. Cool storyboard, it fits the song perfectly, the lyrics were displayed in a nice way except for the font imo

00:38:339 (1,2) - Why the bass sound on the slider ends as well? I think you should stay consistent with the previous hitsounding

Divine hard means that it's a bit harder than hard, not quite a superhard, so it just means harder than normal hard or smth XD
I don't really feel any need for SV's in the map, if you have any suggestions for them, you can say them though.
I'm not sure if I can apply them because it would conflict with std diff...
Other than that, awesome mod! Really helpful!

For being a 1366x768 png your background and (Screenshot-2014-02-10-13.05.59.png) sure looks pretty low quality. You could change it into a jpg and nobody would notice. (Screenshot-2014-02-10-13.05.59.png alone pushes the map above 10 MB so it's a good idea to change that into a jpg.)
