Modding as per your request \:3/
Black = Suggestion/small recommendation
Orange = Strong recommendation, normally more in-depth but will sometimes be short and simple
Red = Unrankable issue
You mentioned to me in-game that this was an eroge song, so perhaps add "eroge" to tags?
Also the Romanised Source is "Koisuru Shoujo to Omoi no Kiseki" so maybe add "Koisuru Shoujo" to tags since that doesn't appear in the metadata?
In addition, the mp3 file (this) has "OP" in it so perhaps add "opening" to tags as well? - added them.
KantanFutsuu
- 00:13:717 (1) - nitpick here but perhaps replace this spinner with a kat on 00:13:717 - and a kat on 00:14:775 - ? there's still some pretty clear rhythms going on in the background and this is the only spinner in the entire set so perhaps consistency is the best option here? also the current spinner is quite close to the don so that could be something to consider too - i think that there is no need to consider the consistency because such 170bpm part is only here. spinner works well as Kantan.
- 01:45:109 (59) - another nitpick but perhaps this final note may catch beginners off-guard due to the fact that it's the only note on a red tick, and while the SV is 0.6, yes, there is no barline indication like all the other notes; 'cause the map ends before that bar. it would sound weird to apply this suggestion but consistency is practically a must for beginners so maybe consider moving this note 1/2 beat later to the downbeat? - i dont agree completely. we shouldnt use the 1/2 line for Kantan but if mapped on 01:45:213 - instead of 01:45:109 - , it would be so hard rhythm.
- this is a really nice Kantan actually, a bit simple but seems really good o.o
Muzukashii
- 01:15:420 (171,172,173,174,175,176,177) - perhaps this section might play a little bit awkwardly since it uses both 3/2 finishers and 1/1 finishers; perhaps make it something like this for more simplicity? currently I think the pattern is a bit difficult. - changed some pattern.
- 01:31:144 (223) - another nitpick but perhaps make this into a kat for a nicer-looking pattern and something that would play a bit less complex due to less colour changes? d k k fits the vocals best and it gives the D a bit more meaning - pitch is lower than 01:30:937 (222) - . so d is working well.
- also a really nice Futsuu :3
Oni
- 00:08:070 - how about adding a don here? there's a clear instrument lead-in to the 1/3 here so perhaps add a don here for following more of the main song? :3 - it doesnt fit with flow since i dont focusing on such instrument sound.
- 00:42:523 (152,153) - why the finishers here? in the Oni and in the Inner they were not finishers (in the Oni they were still separate; they COULD have been finishers but you chose not to map that way) so why should they be finishers here? it gives the K a few notes after less emphasis than it should; just make these two notes normal kats. - idk why mapped them, removed.
- 01:20:799 (312,313,314,315) - the structure here should be similar to the one used at 01:22:454 (322,323,324,325) - so perhaps make 312-315 a 4-plet on 1/2 for consistency; also there's a significant kick on 01:21:109 - which implies that note should get the most emphasis, so these should both be dddk patterns. - shouldnt. its really meaningless for the flow of my diff. the flow has changed from on 01:22:040 -
- 01:27:420 (355,356,357,358) - ^ but there's more of a snare at 01:27:730 - but it's the same deal here really - there is no snaredrum.
Inner Oni
- 00:08:070 - Refer to Muzukashii; and especially consider it here 'cause this is a higher difficulty so we need a higher density :3 - the same. youre fundamentally misunderstanding. fist of all, "higher density" =/= "difficulty". honestly, claim is nearly meaningless on such slowly/relax part.
- 00:59:696 (338,339,340) - Perhaps to distinguish this more from the Inner Oni you could try deleting 339 and then for pitch relevancy make 338 a kat? just a small suggestion but it can help the difficulty curve a bit I guess; plus I don't think the 1/2 has much to follow to begin with so...meh - i made contrast with next kdk.
- 01:21:213 (439) - Another structure nitpick; perhaps delete this note to give a similar structure to 01:22:247 (446,447,448,449,450) - while giving the patterns more variety between each other? - the same.
- 01:27:834 (490,491,492) - Again to distinguish this from the Inner Oni a bit more; perhaps delete 491? no need to make 490 into a kat; that wouldn't really fit in terms of pitch relevancy. - already distinguished enough. if playing with alt-style, possible to ready against 1/4 with dominant hand.
- 01:29:437 (505,506) - Perhaps delete these two notes also (or maybe just 505, or none at all, your choice lol) to give a more consistent structure to the Kiai Time? no other reason why; just for note structure purposes. - changed some pattern.
good luck for ranking; the set's really well-made
- 00:20:385 (76,77,78,79,80) - Maybe change this pattern to kkddd? It plays much less awkwardly than the current pattern; while still keeping pitch relevancy and k and d at the start and end of the pattern; so the flow remains (in fact it'd play like kkddddk except you need to slow down for the d k at the end (it'd be more like kkddd d k ;w;))
- 00:27:006 (142,143,144,145,146) - if you applied the previous suggestion, apply it here too; it's the same sound and your map is kinda based on consistency within patterns and structure anyways so... - got them.
- 00:35:799 (217) - nitpick but maybe have this be a don instead? it gives the kicks more of a kat-only feeling and thus emphasises them a bit more~ - i have swapped 00:35:799 (217,218) -
- 00:46:868 (309,310,311,312,313) - refer to first suggestion.
- 00:55:661 (384) - refer to 3rd suggestion; maybe you won't accept it this time 'cause of the vocal being more present but if you want consistency then apply here too.
- 01:31:558 (653,654,655,656,657) - Maybe change this pattern to kkdkk? refer to first suggestion for the reason why (replace "k and d at the start and end of the pattern" with "kats at the start and end of the pattern" and the kkddddk thing) - fine with current one. x3
- 01:34:868 (686,687,688,689,690) - and perhaps change this pattern to kkddd also? refer to first suggestion again.
- 01:41:489 (752,753,754,755,756) - Applied the previous suggestion? Like every other time I've asked this; apply the suggestion here too if you have; it's the same deal here!! - changed them to kkkdd instead of kkddd. it will work as an accent.
