i recently hit 30k rank and i can only stream 160bpm for a second or two and then it goes down to 140-150 and all the beatmaps have some streams in them so i cant get full combo on any song any tips for practicing streams?
I am. I have been playing a lot recently and I'm not getting any better at streams. I keep failing at streaming parts. If I could improve by playing normally, I wouldn't ask that question. I just wanted other people's opinions on it and you could just get out of my topic instead of posting a stupid reply like thatbuny wrote:
Try playing the game to practice streaming

How else do you expect to get faster? Do you think reading a block of text will somehow give you the ability to play fast? You need to practice to get faster. There is nothing else to it.totodile31 wrote:

Did you even read my post? I asked for ways of practicing streams other than playing normally. Can't you just be a little more helpful?

Try grinding those at the highest bpm you can manage if you want to increase your streaming speed. To increase stability though, try streaming at around half speed (160/2=80).
Or you could do what I did and play Freedom Dive [4D] on HT over 500 times. It did help me... I can stream at 270bpm.
Problem is that my 160 BPM lasts two seconds But I practiced for one and a half hours today. My arm hurts now but I will improve quick if I keep practicing like thisnaliem wrote:

I got RSI from playing with red switches.Sylveon wrote:
Obviously practise... But for me I found that when I switched from my rubbish keyboard to a mechanical one that on the day the mechanical one was delivered I had already improved ALOT just from changing keyboards. I think it's important to practise with decent equipment or your just wasting time. I got a repetitive strain injury from practising with my old keyboard and my streaming never improved. However now I feel I can really focus on not mashing and other streaming techniques

You guys got RSI because of however wrong you were using your hands, not because of your keyboards.Martell wrote:
