00:07:541 - add one note done
00:08:145 - ^ ^
00:09:152 - ^ ^
00:32:055 (32055|1) - move to white line there was a reason for it being there but being on the bar line makes more sense I guess. It's there on hard too so done.
00:33:716 - add one note if I did that I would have to make the whole thing doubles, which I don't want to do.
00:34:118 - ^ done
00:34:521 - ^ done
00:36:132 - add 1 beat LN at 1 feels too awkward to me personally so no sorry
00:54:655 - add one note nothing particularly significant there
00:56:266 - ^ would have to flip the following 7 seconds of the map to accommodate it and it isn't worth it.
00:56:669 - ^ one not is enough
00:58:883 - add to 5 ^
01:03:917 (63917|0,63917|1,64320|2,64320|1,64722|4,64722|3,65125|3,65125|2) - make them to triple notes done
01:12:222 - add to 2
01:12:273 (72273|4) - move to 3
01:12:323 - to 4
01:12:373 - to 5 changed all this bit slightly. I think I included all these as suggested
01:20:830 - release at 01:21:031you're the second person to ask for this. Both the singing and whatever instrument that is end at the same place, which is where the hold currently ends. It's longer than the notes on either side, so the hold is longer as well.

Hard
00:07:541 - add one note done
00:13:179 (13179|3) - move to 2 and release at 00:13:581
00:13:581 (13581|4) - move to 4 and release at 00:13:984 changed the pattern here in a different way. Note ends stay where they are.
00:28:078 (28078|0) - if you follow the vocal sound please move to 00:27:977 nice catch - thanks.[/color#
00:54:253 - add to 5

Normal
00:01:098 - add to 5 thought about it, decided against it
00:54:253 - to 1 done and shifted a few other bits about
00:58:883 - add one note not on this difficulty, thanks.
01:11:769 - ^ no way to do this without destroying the pattern and not really justified anyway
nice pattern

00:40:662 - note 1add not in this difficulty, thanks, and it's already there in the higher ones.
00:46:803 - change long note(~00:47:004) nothing ends at that point, and if I continue it to the point where it does, then it becomes awkward to play. Better to just leave it.
00:48:414 - ^same(~00:48:615) ^
00:54:857 - note 1add done in hard, not in normal
00:57:474 - ^same done. Done in hard too.

Hard
00:03:917 - Change long note(~00:04:118) err... no? Not sure why you're saying to.
00:10:360 - note 1add one note is fine there
00:10:561 - ^ ^
00:11:568 - Change long note(~00:11:870) done

00:35:226 - move J not changing this bit for now. Will have a think about it when I go over it with hitsounds.
00:35:830 - move F
00:36:031 - move Space
00:47:206 - move D whatever I do here is awkward. This is probably slightly less so than what I had, though, so done
00:47:306 - move F ^
00:47:407 - move Space^
00:54:857 - note 1add done

01:06:132 - note 1add no thanks
01:06:333 - ^ ^
01:09:555 - delete no thanks
01:16:405 - note 1add gets in the way for the next note, which is more important to have as a double, so not done
01:16:602 - ^ ^

good luck XD
Made a few other tweaks triggered by this mod as well. Thanks

Rather interesting map, haven't touched 5k for quite a while already

Though I first would like to state that the glissando for the piano notes can be approximated with 1/8s or 32nds

[Insane]

It's not bad when I played it but some sections really kill my accuracy, which is pretty much the main issue i'll be digging here

00:17:206 - Really think that you can use some minijacks to emphasize some "repeating" vocals
00:31:199 (31199|2,31501|3) - would be better if you linked the end of the LN to this note, it's easier to obtain a perfect accuracy this way
00:43:380 (43380|1) - personally think that this will feel better on column 1, considering the fact that you can approximately hit it like a 5 note trill on this pattern 00:42:977 (42977|0,43128|1,43179|0,43229|1,43380|1) -, instead of having a 4 note trill with an extra hammer at the end
00:59:487 (59487|2,59689|1,59890|1) - i reckon this will be hard for those using their left hand for the center key, i suggest to make this 1/4 shorter

[Hard]

00:45:192 - i think it's better to have a note on 4 to denote the vocal here instead of an LN end, 00:44:991 (44991|3) - moving this to 5 if you don't want a hammer

[Normal]

00:14:991 (14991|2) - considering that you are mapping vocals mainly here, the "i" in "dai" of the vocals here is rather vague, i would suggest that you remove this note since it doesn't have an "impactful" vocal
01:22:743 - not sure about omitting the drums here, you can probably add notes here or extend 01:22:239 (82239|2,82239|4) - as an LN that ends when the drum ends

[Easy]

00:01:098 (1098|0,1501|1,1702|4,2105|3,2306|0) - Personally don't really like this rhythm mapped to the vocals, it's kinda weird for me ( lol ), would be best if you can fill in all the 1/2s here without breaks | Though feel free to reject this if this kinda bumps up star rating too much
00:04:320 - same here
00:54:253 (54253|0,54655|2,54857|1,55259|3,55461|2) - same here
00:57:474 (57474|1,57877|2,58078|3,58481|2,58682|4) - same here
01:07:139 (67139|0,67541|3,67743|4,68145|1,68347|0) - same here
01:10:360 (70360|4,70763|1,70964|3,71367|0) - same here
01:13:581 (73581|0,73984|1,74185|4,74588|3) - same here

01:22:239 (82239|1) - same idea as Normal, I would suggest this to be an LN that ends when the drum ends

Might need a rebubble from Marirose if he's not busy

00:01:098 (1098|0,1501|1,1702|4,2105|3,2306|0) - Personally don't really like this rhythm mapped to the vocals, it's kinda weird for me ( lol ), would be best if you can fill in all the 1/2s here without breaks | Though feel free to reject this if this kinda bumps up star rating too much
00:04:320 - same here
00:54:253 (54253|0,54655|2,54857|1,55259|3,55461|2) - same here
00:57:474 (57474|1,57877|2,58078|3,58481|2,58682|4) - same here
01:07:139 (67139|0,67541|3,67743|4,68145|1,68347|0) - same here
01:10:360 (70360|4,70763|1,70964|3,71367|0) - same here
01:13:581 (73581|0,73984|1,74185|4,74588|3) - same here done all, or variants thereof, and made changes to normal to redress the difficulty balance. And a couple of tweaks to hard to redress that one.

01:22:239 (82239|1) - same idea as Normal, I would suggest this to be an LN that ends when the drum ends done

Might need a rebubble from Marirose if he's not busy
Thanks for the mod.

Other changes made: switched the sound volume of hihat and hihat2 in early parts of hard difficulty which I had previously got the wrong way round for some reason.

Side Note:
Though the Spread looks really biased, please do look at the difficulties themselves, they scale rather well
The spread is small enough to accommodate players of different mania skill strengths in addition to that

Hiya, I see quite a few issues with this mapset so I'll be disqualifying it for the time being.
[General]I believe the source is incorrect. 人生 is the name of the light novel series that the anime was based on, although the anime itself is actually "人生相談テレビアニメーション「人生」", so having this in the source field is more suitable.

Also, hihat.wav and bassdrum.wav are both under 100ms, which is against the ranking criteria. Extend these files over 100ms in order to satisfy the ranking criteria.

[Insane]
00:02:306 (2306|4,2508|3,2709|0,2910|1,3112|2) - You map LNs for vocals here, but not 00:05:528 (5528|4,5729|0) - here?
This is a common issue throughout the map, do your best to make these consistent.

00:31:199 (31199|2) - I have no idea what this LN follows, the vocal ends earlier than this but the background high-pitch bass starts later than this.

00:32:810 (32810|3) - Don't really hear any noise here apart from the vocal - the bass is on the 1/8 beforehand.

00:40:863 (40863|2) - Again, LN here but not 00:43:883 - ? Same vocal length.

00:45:293 (45293|1) - Seems as if this vocal starts on the 1/6 beforehand.

00:48:816 (48816|4,48867|0,48917|1,48967|2,49018|3) - I'm sure a 12345 pattern will be a lot more suitable here.

00:55:863 - LNs inconsistent here to 00:02:306 -
01:08:347 - Really need to work on the consistency here. No idea why you're now using double LNs for the vocals.

01:19:018 - Little nitpick, I think this'll be a bit cleaner to play. http://puu.sh/kspGr/761cc20487.png

[]

Overall I think this needs a bit more work before heading to the ranked section. The majority of the issues in terms of consistency lies within the Insane diff but it's worth checking the other difficulties for the same problems, albeit not so much to the extent of Insane.

Anyways, good luck! If you wish to discuss further just reply to this post or contact me in-game.

00:31:199 (31199|2) - I have no idea what this LN follows, the vocal ends earlier than this but the background high-pitch bass starts later than this. the start of this note was mapped to a different thing to the end of it. This has now been rectified.

00:32:810 (32810|3) - Don't really hear any noise here apart from the vocal - the bass is on the 1/8 beforehand. moved as it makes more sense to be on the bass than the vocal

00:40:863 (40863|2) - Again, LN here but not 00:43:883 - ? Same vocal length.

00:45:293 (45293|1) - Seems as if this vocal starts on the 1/6 beforehand. there's a beat there. I added a note on the beat before to stop it seeming like it's mapped to the vocal when it isn't. Mapping to the vocal as well as the beats in this little bit (as it is on the bit before) would be overkill.

00:48:816 (48816|4,48867|0,48917|1,48967|2,49018|3) - I'm sure a 12345 pattern will be a lot more suitable here. done

I've gone through the pattern suggestions and things that were actually inaccurate.

I wouldn't even know where to start when it comes to modifying the hitsounds. I have literally zero knowledge on that sort of thing, no software which I know of that can be used to edit it, and no idea what I would need to do if I did have it.

spoilerbox for rather irrelevant mini-rant.
SPOILER
In all honesty I view the very existence of hitsounds as nothing more than a pain - they're the sole reason why this mapset was more-or-less abandoned for about 10 months. I'd probably have 5 or more ranked beatmap sets by now if they weren't a requirement but as they are I'm on one and with no intentions of ever making another after this second one gets ranked. If it ever does - which is now suddenly unlikely just because of this one thing. And I'm pretty sure that the "bassdrum" in this mapset is exactly the same as the "soft-hitwhistle" in 2 gakki debut daisakusen which would mean that technically that one doesn't meet the ranking criteria either...
That got a bit of frustration out of my system... Now on with the relevant stuff.

I'm leaving the consistency stuff until AFTER the hitsounds get sorted. IF the hitsounds get sorted. Somehow. I'll say now that I don't expect to make many changes in that respect, though - nothing strikes me as problematic when playing through (which is why I'm leaving it for now) and too much consistency adds little and just makes playing boring. Especially when we're talking consistency with something more than half the song away. If the hitsounds are somehow sorted before the internet becomes a defunct concept, though, then I will at least take a look, and most likely make some changes. I'll give actual details when/if that happens.

Also deleted a random note that I don't think was there before but I swear I didn't add in my edits just now.

Thanks so much for that. I've changed it in my song folder but not updated the beatmap yet - the change will be submitted when I go through the other stuff tomorrow morning.

Which I don't want to do.

00:40:863 (40863|2) - Again, LN here but not 00:43:883 - ? Same vocal length. done. Now this is a place where the consistency argument holds well.

00:55:863 - LNs inconsistent here to 00:02:306 - Changed, although the reasoning has nothing to do with consistency with something 53 seconds earlier. In fact I have half a mind to change the earlier section to how this one was (the actual reason why I changed it is because I think this fits better at this point than what I did have, not because there was anything wrong with what was there.
01:08:347 - Really need to work on the consistency here. No idea why you're now using double LNs for the vocals. It's not the first or the last time in the song that the vocals are mapped as double LNs. And the pattern itself has nothing wrong with it. Would you have this be exactly the same all four (and a half) times?
Please don't requalify yet. I want to go through everything at some point over the weekend, including other difficulties.

Which I don't want to do. I really do recommend you at least try to do so. There really isn't any reason why 1 measure deserves LN for vocals whilst another doesn't, unless it's for a special type of emphasis which wasn't present beforehand.

Fair enough. Main point for me is simply just the consistency with when you're mapping LNs to vocals or not. The point mentioned at around 2 seconds is pretty much the same chorus. (Same case 01:02:910 - and 00:09:756 -.)

It's not about whether parts have already been mapped as double LNs, it's about measure consistency. If you wish to keep this I advise you to add double LNs on the next measure too 01:14:790 -.

Pretty sure either the previous QAT did not really take a good look at this, or the rule didn't exist when the map was ranked. ;p

The patterns themselves are quite fine, it's just the map structure that I felt had a slight few issues. I'm still up to discussing these points if you wish, and you can by all means contact me in-game for any assistance. It'll be nice to see this requalified soon.
