2014-07-30 16:32 Don: als je iets hebt van doe dit pls niet
2014-07-30 16:32 Tess: Even modden.
2014-07-30 16:32 Don: dan moet je dat zeggen
2014-07-30 16:33 Tess: Jou stijl is echt vet.
2014-07-30 16:33 Tess: Een schone grumd.
2014-07-30 16:33 Don: lol dankje ^_^
2014-07-30 16:34 Tess: Ja, jou spacing is echt perfect.
2014-07-30 16:34 Tess: Maar
2014-07-30 16:34 Tess: 00:26:822 (1) - Undermapped
2014-07-30 16:35 Tess: 00:35:270 (5) - Overmapped
2014-07-30 16:35 Tess: Die moet maar een keer reversen en dan is het een 1/2
2014-07-30 16:35 Tess: 1/4 sorry
2014-07-30 16:36 Don: wacht laat me die op 25% luisteren
2014-07-30 16:36 Tess: 00:36:650 (2,3,4) - Zelfde als de vorige
2014-07-30 16:36 Tess: Ah, okay.
2014-07-30 16:41 Tess: Een slider werkt beter, geloof me.
2014-07-30 16:45 Tess: Haha.
2014-07-30 16:46 Tess: 01:11:994 (3,4) - Dit is net offbeat, wacht, ik maak een puush
2014-07-30 16:47 Don: 00:53:719 (1) - hoezo undermapped?
2014-07-30 16:47 Tess: http://puu.sh/axrjw.png
2014-07-30 16:49 Don: pff kicks mappen
2014-07-30 16:54 Don: oh cool, nee
2014-07-30 16:54 Don: waar is die eerste puush van?
2014-07-30 16:54 Don: ofwel
2014-07-30 16:54 Don: 16 47
2014-07-30 16:54 Don: tevens post ff in b eatmap thread dan geef ik je kds
2014-07-30 16:54 Tess: 01:14:322 (9) - Deze slider moet op de white tick en er moet een hit circle op de blue tick.
2014-07-30 16:54 Tess: Oh.
2014-07-30 16:55 Tess: 01:11:994 (3) -
2014-07-30 16:56 Don: k dankje
2014-07-30 16:56 Don: ^_^
2014-07-30 16:56 Tess: No problem.

01:30:149 (2,3) -
01:38:424 (1,2) -
01:44:976 (3,1) - just move 3 in more

01:23:942 (1) - move 2nd node to x:84 y:94
01:31:183 (1) - improve this too :L
02:00:666 (2,3) - blanket this
02:50:838 (5) - eeee i wouldn't repeat thrice. http://puu.sh/aYH9m/e37f1a85f4.jpg or http://puu.sh/aYH9R/c58542bfab.jpg etc.

[Hard]

00:54:459 (3,4) - ctrl+g (better flow)
02:52:907 (7) - 2 notes instead of a slider to put more emphasis on the "punch" or whatever the fuck he's saying
03:02:907 (1) - eeehh you could totally map this section

[Insane]

01:10:493 (7) - wonky curve
01:28:511 (1) - you could totally have this increase in hs volume

[Hard]

00:54:459 (3,4) - ctrl+g (better flow) Fine with the flow as is

03:02:907 (1) - eeehh you could totally map this section I want all the diffs to be different, I can't place a short spinner (too short) so I opted for a long one.

[Insane]

01:10:493 (7) - wonky curve Looks fine to me...
01:28:511 (1) - you could totally have this increase in hs volume Fixed.

My mod for mod~

[Insane]
  1. 00:50:666 (3,4,5,6,7) - I wouldn't do this cause it doesn't really fit the music (You do this a lot so I won't point out every time, but I'd say to change them all, and I mean the fact that the last note is more spaced than the rest)
  2. 00:56:355 (9) - NC
  3. 00:59:459 (10) - Maybe move this closer to the stream and blanket the stream around it?
  4. missed a beat at 01:07:217 -
  5. 01:07:304 (3,4) - This jump doesn't really fit the music cause it's too big
  6. 01:08:511 (1) - I'd make this spinner go to the white tick maybe
  7. 01:18:424 (3) - Stack under the slider end
  8. 01:33:942 (3) - Stack under the slider end
  9. 01:35:149 (2) - Move this to be under the 9
  10. 01:38:942 (2) - Stack under the slider end
  11. 01:41:873 (1,3) - You could blanket these better
  12. 01:42:562 (4) - Stack under the slider end
  13. 02:01:873 (7,1) - The overlap for these isn't very good looking
  14. 02:06:700 (2) - Stack under the slider end
  15. 03:04:459 (1) - I'd suggest mapping the parts this spinner covers and then making the spinner be from 03:05:321 - to maybe 03:08:080 - here?

Good luck with your map

That's why I do it selectively.
  2. 00:56:355 (9) - NC Fixed!
  3. 00:59:459 (10) - Maybe move this closer to the stream and blanket the stream around it? That would screw over the spacing.
  4. missed a beat at 01:07:217 - I selectively map hi-hats. I chose not to here.
  5. 01:07:304 (3,4) - This jump doesn't really fit the music cause it's too big I drag things around accidentally in the editor. Fixed.
  6. 01:08:511 (1) - I'd make this spinner go to the white tick maybe Thanks, that was an error from early in the mapping
  7. 01:18:424 (3) - Stack under the slider end No, want them manually stacked here.
  8. 01:33:942 (3) - Stack under the slider end No, want them manually stacked here.
  9. 01:35:149 (2) - Move this to be under the 9 Fine as is. Overlap isn't too bothersome.
  10. 01:38:942 (2) - Stack under the slider end No, want them manually stacked here.
  11. 01:41:873 (1,3) - You could blanket these better Fixed!

  13. 02:01:873 (7,1) - The overlap for these isn't very good looking Overlap is fine as is.
  14. 02:06:700 (2) - Stack under the slider end No, want them manually stacked here.
  15. 03:04:459 (1) - I'd suggest mapping the parts this spinner covers and then making the spinner be from 03:05:321 - to maybe 03:08:080 - here? Spinners have a build-up feel to them. I'm not going to add an arbitrary spinner at the end when I could have one when the music is building up.

Good luck with your map Thanks for your mod!

Came from mod queue.

[Easy]

  1. Be a little forgiving: HP and OD = 3
  2. 00:52:217 (3) - Keeping this in the same combo after that pause may confuse players. Better put a NC.
  3. 00:57:390 (1) - Not many new players are able to follow two reverses. Better remove one.
  4. 01:31:528 (4) - New Combo here.
  5. 02:15:321 (1) - I think this spinner's too short. Do something about it.
  6. 02:58:080 (1) - I don't think the way you shaped this is nice... Maybe you can do it like this?
[Normal]

  1. 00:52:217 (4) - Confusing note: Insert a NC.
  2. 00:56:700 (4) - ^^
  3. 01:00:666 (2) - Stack the note properly or move it.
  4. 02:09:459 (5) - Don't use this kind of slider in Normal. The ankwardness will destroy the players.
  5. 02:18:769 (4) - New Combo, please.
  6. 02:20:838 (8) - ^^
[Hard]

  1. The jumps you have before first Kiai are a little hard to read... better change them.
  2. 02:13:252 (4,5) - Slider streams in Hard please no... *dies*
  3. 02:14:114 (2,3) - ^^
  4. 02:20:838 (6,7,8) - ^^
That's it...
Will wait for reply.
The Girls
#modreq from nana

Totally digging the song ^^

[Easy]
01:33:942 (6) - Rotate the asdf blanketing part of the slider counterclockwise until the tick of the slider matches the angle.

[Normal]
01:09:459 (1) - It layers the circles beforehand. Can you Either stack the sliders onto the previous circles or can you move it out of the way of the circles?
01:23:942 (1) - I think you should continue with the direction of the previous slider.

01:27:045 - The spinner doesn't feel quite right. Try mapping it this way.... I guess you end the spinner on a suspension note which doesn't get resolved...and you need to do that or the mapping will work against the flow of the actual song.

01:34:976 (3) - I think this works better for symmetry.

02:19:459 - New combo.
02:21:873 - New combo.
02:22:217 (10) - Can you remap that shape? Its a little ><
02:38:769 (1) - I don't think the slider you have now fits the overall feel of your song. Try? Just personal pref

02:42:907 (8) - Why not stack this?

[Hard]
This is probably more of a personal preference, but your flow seems a little cluttered and almost a little random.
01:07:390 (3, 4, 5, 6, 7) - Try this?

01:10:493 (5) - I feel like in order to combat the feeling of almost arbitrary placements, consider stacking certain passages. Like this one.

01:13:597 (6, 7) - Makes more sense to have the slider point perpendicular to the adjacent circles. It helps with your flow, since they it windmills the previous slider. Also 7 should be stacked. LIke this.

01:15:321 (5) - Move to the right. No inherent reason why it should appear behind a lingering slider.

01:29:286 (3, 4, 5) - Try Ctrl G on 4, and Ctrl G on 5. Flows better. And space out more.

01:39:114 (2) - Ctrl G for better flow.

[Insane]
- Your Sampleset is Normal. Your hitsound samplesets should be consistent.
- I don't have any experience with insane maps.
Setz
Alright, let's give this a shot.

[General]

  1. slider tick rate 2 sounds best for this song with all the instruments in the background. specially in the easy and normal diffs.
  2. You should try to find an mp3 with higher bitrate. currently you are using 128 kbps and ideally you would want 192. I tried to look for one for you, but the ones I found had conflicting song length with your map. (your map is 3:15, the mp3 I found was 4:05.
[Easy]
  1. the start of the spinner at 01:07:045 (1) - seems kind of strange to me. the rhythm sounds similar to other parts of the song, yet a spinner suddenly pops up for this part. I can see what you were trying to do here, and starting the spinner at 01:08:597 - would make much more sense, but you cant do this in an easy diff. you also have a strong beat at 01:08:424 - too, in which the player doesnt have any interaction. what I would suggest is this.
  2. 02:43:942 (1) - I suggest you end this spinner at 02:44:976 - the way it is right now, it gives very little recovery time before the next note. this should be avoided in normal and easy.
Nothing else I can see. I am not great with easy diffs.
[Normal]
  1. Might be a little late for this, but maybe you should consider lower slider velocity here to 1.0 or 1.1 and using 1.0 distance snap instead of your current 1.2 sv and .8 DS.
  2. try to use some more 1/1 rhythms in this diff. and well, normals in general.
  3. Don't be afraid to throw in some 1/2s in normal, specially with this kind of BPM and when there's a decent gap in between it and the next note. for example here 00:51:183 - you could do this :
  4. now here is a big one, you really shouldn't do stuff like this 00:59:804 (1,2) - the rhythm of this song is erratic enough on its own, the the spacing here only adds to the confusion. you shouldn't stack notes under slider tails in Normals in my opinion. do something like this instead.
  5. 01:28:769 (1,2) - ^
  6. 01:29:631 (3,4) - ^
  7. 02:18:769 (4,5) - ^
  8. 02:42:045 (6,7) - ^
  9. 01:45:493 (4) - this circle is not needed and just makes this part overly difficult. I suggest you remove it.
  10. 02:09:459 (5) - another big no here. simplify this rhythm is just a regular 1/2 slider.
  11. 02:17:390 (1) - combo here is pretty huge, I suggest you NC somewhere in the middle of this, my suggesting would be here 02:21:873 (1) - there are more like this in all the diffs, you should be able to spot them
  12. 02:15:321 (1) - same thing I said in easy about spinner recovery time, but i really don't know what you could do here ;\
This diff needs alot of work. hopefully my suggestions will point you in the right direction.
[Hard]
  1. Difficulty jump between normal and hard is pretty severe. I have no idea how you would ahndle this though, but I strongly feel you either need to make the hard just a bit easier, or you will need a difficulty in between these 2.
  2. 00:57:735 (4) - make this into a 1/2 instead of 2 circles, it is more enjoyable to play this kind of rhythm.
  3. 01:18:424 (2) - ^
  4. 00:59:631 (1) -
  5. I am actually not sure about having 1/6s in a hard, but wait for more opinions on this , just something to keep in mind.
  6. 01:18:424 (2) - drag the second anchor to x:200 y:0 for cleaner blanket without leaving the grid.
  7. 02:11:873 (2,1) - blanket can be improved. ctrl+g the 2 ,and use its approach circle to adjust it.
  8. 03:02:217 (8,9,10,11,12) - not sure about having this stream here. I suppose you could keep this, but maybe decrease the spacing between the notes, or even stack them..
that's all i have. I dont feel like I could mod the insane for a song like this. anyway, hope this is helpful in some way ,and good luck with the set!

  6. 02:58:080 (1) - I don't think the way you shaped this is nice... Maybe you can do it like this? This slider is rad
[Normal]

  1. 00:52:217 (4) - Confusing note: Insert a NC. Fixed.
  2. 00:56:700 (4) - ^^ Fixed.
  3. 01:00:666 (2) - Stack the note properly or move it. This is fine as is. The overlap iusn't too bad.
  4. 02:09:459 (5) - Don't use this kind of slider in Normal. The ankwardness will destroy the players. Fixed.
  5. 02:18:769 (4) - New Combo, please. Fixed.
  6. 02:20:838 (8) - ^^ Fixed.
[Hard]

  1. The jumps you have before first Kiai are a little hard to read... better change them. I feel like this is fine.
  2. 02:13:252 (4,5) - Slider streams in Hard please no... *dies* Might change it.
  3. 02:14:114 (2,3) - ^^ Might change it.

Totally digging the song ^^

[Easy]
01:33:942 (6) - Rotate the asdf blanketing part of the slider counterclockwise until the tick of the slider matches the angle. Fixed.

[Normal]
01:09:459 (1) - It layers the circles beforehand. Can you Either stack the sliders onto the previous circles or can you move it out of the way of the circles? This stack isn't too disturbing.
01:23:942 (1) - I think you should continue with the direction of the previous slider. I like the way it is. It's readable.

01:27:045 - The spinner doesn't feel quite right. Try mapping it this way.... I guess you end the spinner on a suspension note which doesn't get resolved...and you need to do that or the mapping will work against the flow of the actual song. Fixed.

01:34:976 (3) - I think this works better for symmetry. color=#00FF00]Fixed.[/color]

02:19:459 - New combo. color=#00FF00]Fixed.[/color]
02:21:873 - New combo. color=#00FF00]Fixed.[/color]
02:22:217 (10) - Can you remap that shape? Its a little >< That shape is cool
02:38:769 (1) - I don't think the slider you have now fits the overall feel of your song. Try? Just personal pref Fine as is. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

02:42:907 (8) - Why not stack this?

[Hard]
This is probably more of a personal preference, but your flow seems a little cluttered and almost a little random.
01:07:390 (3, 4, 5, 6, 7) - Try this? Fixed.

01:10:493 (5) - I feel like in order to combat the feeling of almost arbitrary placements, consider stacking certain passages. Like this one. Fixed both.

01:13:597 (6, 7) - Makes more sense to have the slider point perpendicular to the adjacent circles. It helps with your flow, since they it windmills the previous slider. Also 7 should be stacked. LIke this. It's fine as is.

01:15:321 (5) - Move to the right. No inherent reason why it should appear behind a lingering slider. Fixed.

01:29:286 (3, 4, 5) - Try Ctrl G on 4, and Ctrl G on 5. Flows better. And space out more. It's fine as is.

01:39:114 (2) - Ctrl G for better flow. It's fine as is.

- Your Sampleset is Normal. Your hitsound samplesets should be consistent. Made it consistent

Alright, let's give this a shot.

[General]

  1. slider tick rate 2 sounds best for this song with all the instruments in the background. specially in the easy and normal diffs. Sounds amazing.
  2. You should try to find an mp3 with higher bitrate. currently you are using 128 kbps and ideally you would want 192. I tried to look for one for you, but the ones I found had conflicting song length with your map. (your map is 3:15, the mp3 I found was 4:05. It's a custom cut that I (how lovely) cut the end from. I'll reencode one later.
[Easy]
  1. the start of the spinner at 01:07:045 (1) - seems kind of strange to me. the rhythm sounds similar to other parts of the song, yet a spinner suddenly pops up for this part. I can see what you were trying to do here, and starting the spinner at 01:08:597 - would make much more sense, but you cant do this in an easy diff. you also have a strong beat at 01:08:424 - too, in which the player doesnt have any interaction. what I would suggest is this. I fixed this.,
  2. 02:43:942 (1) - I suggest you end this spinner at 02:44:976 - the way it is right now, it gives very little recovery time before the next note. this should be avoided in normal and easy.
Nothing else I can see. I am not great with easy diffs.
[Normal]
  1. Might be a little late for this, but maybe you should consider lower slider velocity here to 1.0 or 1.1 and using 1.0 distance snap instead of your current 1.2 sv and .8 DS. I actually really like the
  2. try to use some more 1/1 rhythms in this diff. and well, normals in general.
  3. Don't be afraid to throw in some 1/2s in normal, specially with this kind of BPM and when there's a decent gap in between it and the next note. for example here 00:51:183 - you could do this : Fixed.
  4. now here is a big one, you really shouldn't do stuff like this 00:59:804 (1,2) - the rhythm of this song is erratic enough on its own, the the spacing here only adds to the confusion. you shouldn't stack notes under slider tails in Normals in my opinion. do something like this instead. Fixed.
  5. 01:28:769 (1,2) - ^ Fixed.
  6. 01:29:631 (3,4) - ^ Fixed.
  7. 02:18:769 (4,5) - ^ Fixed.
  8. 02:42:045 (6,7) - ^ Fixed.
  9. 01:45:493 (4) - this circle is not needed and just makes this part overly difficult. I suggest you remove it. Fixed.
  10. 02:09:459 (5) - another big no here. simplify this rhythm is just a regular 1/2 slider. Fixed.
  11. 02:17:390 (1) - combo here is pretty huge, I suggest you NC somewhere in the middle of this, my suggesting would be here 02:21:873 (1) - there are more like this in all the diffs, you should be able to spot them Fixed.
  12. 02:15:321 (1) - same thing I said in easy about spinner recovery time, but i really don't know what you could do here ;\ Fixed.
Fixed.
  3. 01:18:424 (2) - ^ Fixed.
  4. 00:59:631 (1) - Fixed.
Fixed.
  8. 03:02:217 (8,9,10,11,12) - not sure about having this stream here. I suppose you could keep this, but maybe decrease the spacing between the notes, or even stack them.. Told in IRC. I might.
that's all i have. I dont feel like I could mod the insane for a song like this. anyway, hope this is helpful in some way ,and good luck with the set!

cool map, irc mod

SPOILER
17:51 SuperMICrophone: start with insane \:D/
17:52 Don: cool
17:52 *Don is editing [http://osu.ppy.sh/b/468099 Venetian Snares - Szamar Madar [Insane]]
17:52 SuperMICrophone: 00:50:666 (3,4,5,6,7) - im tentative about the one note sticking out at the end
17:53 SuperMICrophone: generally i wouldnt do this, but i suppose its ok
17:53 Don: yeah i know, i hear that a lot
17:53 SuperMICrophone: just a warning s'all
17:53 Don: it's because the last note in the stream is stronger
17:54 Don: hence the upped spacing
17:54 SuperMICrophone: i understand
17:54 SuperMICrophone: but in terms of playability uuuuusually youd keep everything spaced equally
17:54 SuperMICrophone: but again its not that big of a deal
17:55 Don: it still overlaps a lot
17:55 Don: hence why I feel like it's playable
17:55 Don: but okay I see where you are coming from
17:55 Don: if you have something else (similar) I am open for similar options
17:55 SuperMICrophone: 01:17:907 (1) - i would directly stack this rather than make it look kind of like a double :p
17:56 SuperMICrophone: lol i kinda think its a black and white situation, you have it like you have it or you dont
17:56 SuperMICrophone: its one or the other
17:56 Don: eh it's a manual stack
17:56 Don: it's 1 grid off
17:56 Don: nvm
17:56 SuperMICrophone: 01:18:424 (3) - #2 reason that this being a stronger note should be spaced normally
17:57 Don: that's a stack
17:57 Don: might just move it closer a bit
17:57 Don: fixed the stacks
17:57 Don: http://i.imgur.com/GXPaoHF.png
17:58 SuperMICrophone: ok
17:59 SuperMICrophone: 01:22:821 (6) - id change this slider so its diagonal, like the stream
18:00 SuperMICrophone: 01:25:148 (8,1) - this is kind of a less popular thing but you should be wary of abnormal 3/4, as it caaaan be unreadable
18:00 SuperMICrophone: id recommend taking off the repeat on the slider and using a 3/4 slider
18:01 SuperMICrophone: http://puu.sh/bdfop/de70e391f4.jpg like this
18:01 SuperMICrophone: 01:39:804 (8) - again with slider direction
18:02 SuperMICrophone: also im slightly confused about whistle use in this section
18:02 SuperMICrophone: also tell me iff im going too fast >_<
18:02 Don: any ideas about the slider shape of
18:02 Don: 01:25:321 (9) -
18:04 Don: nvm have something
18:04 Don: http://i.imgur.com/WffwqLj.png
18:04 Don: look good?
18:04 SuperMICrophone: http://puu.sh/bdfFF/478da7f30d.jpg id do some pattern like this and maybe move (1)
18:04 SuperMICrophone: wooow that wave is lazy ;)
18:05 SuperMICrophone: show me the slider points on it
18:05 Don: http://i.imgur.com/2FadDNe.png
18:05 Don: i'm garbage at making good waves
18:07 SuperMICrophone: hold on sorry haha
18:07 SuperMICrophone: ok well you cant make a perfect 4 or 5 point wave in this because of stupid timing so um
18:08 Don: http://i.imgur.com/4ojwHB5.png this better
18:08 Don: :D
18:08 SuperMICrophone: step 1: make a wave in the center of the screen and spam ctrl+h+j until the points dont move
18:08 SuperMICrophone: oh um
18:08 SuperMICrophone: yeah thats perfect! hah
18:08 SuperMICrophone: im still going to teach you have to make perfect waves
18:08 SuperMICrophone: how*
18:08 Don: yeah i know
18:08 Don: make in the middle
18:08 Don: then rotate
18:08 Don: with control shift r
18:09 Don: woo hoo perfect symmetrical etfc
18:09 SuperMICrophone: well no you cant make a perfect one because this thing is stupid
18:09 SuperMICrophone: you have to scale it
18:09 Don: usually i'm just halfassed though
18:09 SuperMICrophone: looool
18:09 SuperMICrophone: well im a slider nazi, so what can i say :p
18:10 SuperMICrophone: 01:39:804 (8) - so again slider direction
18:10 Don: fixed
18:11 SuperMICrophone: 01:49:976 (3) - uhh again here
18:11 SuperMICrophone: 01:52:907 (1) - k well ;);0;););)
18:12 SuperMICrophone: http://puu.sh/bdghW/0c0c83dc05.jpg \:D/\:D/\:D/
18:13 SuperMICrophone: 01:56:700 (10) - slider direction again huehue
18:13 Don: perfect 4 point is fine as well right
18:13 SuperMICrophone: yup
18:13 SuperMICrophone: as long as the curves dont like... sharp and pointy? if you get what i mean
18:13 SuperMICrophone: 02:01:873 (7,8,9) - nonono
18:14 SuperMICrophone: 02:01:011 (11,1,2) - nonono
18:14 Don: i don't see thep roblem it looks like nice circle movement on 789
18:14 SuperMICrophone: stream jumps are generally a nono
18:14 SuperMICrophone: how do i explain this
18:14 Don: hm i see
18:14 Don: yeah i know
18:16 SuperMICrophone: the mouse has to move incredibly quickly at this bpm
18:16 SuperMICrophone: so just spacing them normally is much better
18:16 SuperMICrophone: in terms of playability
18:16 SuperMICrophone: im shit at explaining this so sorry D:
18:17 Don: yeah i know
18:17 Don: i fixed it
18:18 SuperMICrophone: ill find a better explanation some day! \:D/
18:18 Don: removed 02:02:562 (1) -
18:18 Don: the note at 02:01:269 -
18:18 Don: i mean
18:18 Don: and spaced out the rest normally
18:18 SuperMICrophone: ok
18:18 SuperMICrophone: 02:12:217 (1) - consider ctrl+g here, the mouse makes a nice loopdeloop
18:19 Don: thanks
18:19 Don: that's amazingh
18:19 SuperMICrophone: 02:21:873 (2) - is the end of this slider supposed to be snapped to the blue tick?
18:20 SuperMICrophone: 02:22:562 (5,6) - well done with blue tick mapping here btw
18:20 SuperMICrophone: 02:40:666 (5) - slider direction here
18:21 Don: it's actually not snapped to anything right now
18:21 Don: that's ture indeed
18:21 SuperMICrophone: oh LOL
18:21 Don: stacked this note 02:22:217 (3) -
18:21 SuperMICrophone: doesnt have to be stacked
18:21 SuperMICrophone: stream jumps are fine coming off of a slider
18:21 SuperMICrophone: just not circle - circle
18:22 Don: ah ok
18:22 SuperMICrophone: this map is really cool
18:22 SuperMICrophone: its all been done very well
18:22 SuperMICrophone: gj
18:22 Don: don't name slider angle changes btw i'll fix
18:22 Don: thanks
18:22 SuperMICrophone: onto hard
18:22 Don: also no need to mod normal i'm remapping it btw
18:22 SuperMICrophone: theyre not wrong, its just some of them would look prettier if done direction wise
18:22 SuperMICrophone: ok
18:23 Don: original normal map had too much 1/1 and the diff curve was fucky
18:23 SuperMICrophone: hehe
18:23 SuperMICrophone: i hate mapping normals
18:23 SuperMICrophone: you map the insane first obviously, then maybe the hard or the easy
18:23 SuperMICrophone: then you get to normal and its like how hard do i fucking make this
18:23 Don: haha yeah
18:24 *Don is editing [http://osu.ppy.sh/b/472094 Venetian Snares - Szamar Madar [Hard]]
18:24 SuperMICrophone: 00:54:804 (1) - im questioning if repeat sliders of this speed are ok in a hard
18:24 SuperMICrophone: upon playtesting they seem fine, but just be careful
18:25 Don: it's a single repeat, i feel like it's fine
18:25 SuperMICrophone: actually its because its only one repeat it might not be fine hah, but dw youre right its fine
18:25 SuperMICrophone: 01:10:493 (5) - :3
18:26 SuperMICrophone: just shift the endpoint a few grids right and itll be fine
18:26 SuperMICrophone: 01:19:459 (2) - this is ok to ctrl+g
18:28 SuperMICrophone: 02:06:355 (2,3) - careful again of 3/4
18:28 SuperMICrophone: add a note stacked under (2) at 02:06:442 (-) -
18:28 SuperMICrophone: 02:15:838 (8) - minor but ctrl+g here has better flow
18:29 SuperMICrophone: 02:23:424 (7) - you could also ctrl+g this for more emphasis on those kicks
18:30 Don: [same thing http://i.imgur.com/d8xqpnC.png]
18:30 Don: oops
18:30 Don: but means the same thing
18:30 SuperMICrophone: yeah lol
18:31 Don: 02:23:424 (7) - fair point here but i feel that the jump would be too harsh
18:31 Don: rather keep it ds here
18:32 SuperMICrophone: ok
18:32 SuperMICrophone: diff is clean gj
18:32 SuperMICrophone: ez time
18:32 Don: wee
18:32 SuperMICrophone: 00:50:148 (1) - see these curves are so pointy
18:33 Don: made it longer
18:33 SuperMICrophone: http://puu.sh/bdhRh/cfef46aeb9.jpg this is slightly better
18:33 SuperMICrophone: but that works too
18:34 SuperMICrophone: 00:52:217 (1) - turn off grid snap and wiggle this around until perfect blanket
18:35 Don: fixed
18:35 SuperMICrophone: jesus lord how many blankets are in this XD
18:36 Don: blankets: the map: the videogame
18:36 SuperMICrophone: lol this diff is fine
18:36 SuperMICrophone: alright thats it \:D/
18:36 Don: cool
18:37 SuperMICrophone: really nie map, is it one of your first?

Hello Don.
I know this map is older than 3 years now, but i wanted to say: Thank you for creating this Map.

I am emotional connected to Venetian Snares aka Aaron Funks Track and i started searching for playable graveyard maps.
Guess what? I found yours =)
I started with the "Hard" Difficulty and still, after a year of playing, trying to master this difficulty.
Long Story short, this map is keeping me playing Osu! and filling me up with Joy, plaing your, in my oppinion, well crafted map.

I hope you are still active, and if not, it's fine. I had the urge to tell you that... and i'm happy i did.
Whatever you do with your life, do the best you can, as so i wish that for you.
Greetings form Germany and "Fijne dag",
