The name of this thread is "Captain Obvious", the reason as to why it is called so should be pretty obvious.
If you are unable to understand why it is obvious, then let me explain it simply.
The aim of this thread is to post sentences, explanations, theories or phrases that are or should be already known (thus making them 'obvious'), for example: "Hats are worn on your head". This example demonstrates how this thread works; a member of this site will enter this thread and post information that is already known to most or all users on this forum.
That is all I have to say about this thread and its objective, please feel free to ask me any questions relating to this thread. However there is a 90% chance that I will ignore you as I am not a moderator for this site.

The word "Critical" means to express adverse or disapproving comments or judgements.
Whereas the word "Dude" means a man; a guy (often used as a form of address).
Therefore if we used these two words together, we will end up with "Critical Dude" which means a male that expresses unfavourable comments (like moi).
