  1. 00:49:129 (2) - Now this moment is very quiet and I believe you could increase the volume to 45% or something similar. But please, think about increasing the volume because it's really hard to hear anything than music when it is a music game so I want to hear something more, for example hitsounds. ;) XD
  2. 02:32:532 (1) - I think you should use 1/8 with the last spinner in the whole mapset. I think the spinner should end exactly here because now it doesn't sound too well.

  1. I am just wondering there's few hitsounds like whistles. Really, I think you could make more whistles at the beginning because now it feels so empty when you play the map.

  1. Consider reducing AR to 7. IMO it's good in the accurate way, but people may say it's just a little bit too fast for such a calm song. But it's just a future suggestion. Maybe ask people if AR8 is too high or not.
  2. 00:19:129 (1) - Well... To be honest, I think it'd follow the music better if you add a whistle sound at the beginning of the slider, instead of the end of that.
  3. 00:51:907 (6,7,8,9) - I am just wondering if you could add some more whistles in moments like that. I think adding more matching whistles would improve your map a lot because now I can feel an emptiness when I play your map.
  4. 01:02:741 (2,3,4) - Is the triplet really required? I mean - I like triplets, but not in such innocent and calm songs. It just breaks the melody IMO. ;_; The same thing: 01:29:407 (2,3,4) -
Well. Your mapset needs some improvements but I really admire when somebody maps this kind of music. So good luck with the map and maybe my mod will help in any way.

  1. disable Grid Snap, it's much easier to create nice patterns this way!
  2. the orange tune (combo colours) is slightly to bright to match with the others, consider a more pastel like orange?

  1. reduce CS to 3, please. CS4 for a Normal is acceptable, but you do not have an Easy difficulty, therefore even beginners have to play this diff (when they like the song etc). and for the easiest diff of a mapset CS4 is too hard, I think.
  2. pay attention to combo colours, they should go up to 8 at max in Normal, imo. and it's important to keep them kind of consistent, so they don't confuse beginners.
  3. what's with the constant SV changes? there shouldn't be any in the lowest diff, I'd prefer if you remove them.
  4. 00:01:352 (3) - why don't you blanket 00:00:796 (2) - with this? (= move to 168|248)
    .. 00:00:796 (2) - could blanket 00:00:241 (1) - btw, too!
    overall that's something your diff lacks - connectivity. You've got circles and sliders, but only few of them interact with each other, keep this in mind when you fix some things and your diff will look more interesting afterwards! c:
  5. 00:03:574 (5) - the shape is totally random and looks so-so, because it's just there. there is nothing you can do with the shape, so at least make it symmetrical!somewhere in the forums is a tutorial on how to create really beautiful symmetrical slider shapes - http://osu.ppy.sh/forum/t/37194
    it's old, but really helpful, read it when you have the time!

  8. 00:13:574 (1) - bend this a bit more. if you increase the curve the slider looks like it has "more character", so it's more interesting. also this overlaps with 00:15:241 (3) - , which you should avoid if it's not intended
  9. 00:17:463 (6) - fix slider shapes like this - just delete this one and use a flipped version of 00:15:796 (4) - ! looks better

  11. 00:36:352 (3) - move to 148|98 so it doesn't overlap with 00:35:796 (2) - but looks symmetrical to it
    on a sidenote: to have more variety consider not always starting with a circle, but something different, example:

  15. 00:51:907 (6) - this could look much better, refine the shape, please. if you have trouble with creating nice curves use two anchors instead of one, it's easier that waysimilar here - 01:19:129 (6) -
  16. 00:59:129 (7) - only use one anchor in the middle, the shape is better rounded then
  17. 01:12:463 (2) - to emphasize the background music, add a spinner after this?
    overall you have many 'blank' spaces you could fill. not all with spinners, but other objects, too.

everything else is just repetitive stuff, you should instanly see what you can improve with the said above. :3

hmh, the diff feels very repetitive, cause you barely change the rhythm.
what I said above about slidershapes and atuff applies to this diff as well, so I won't mention it again. :3
  1. you often have 4-5 circles, where you use jumps to emphasize them. to alternate the pattern, you can use this instead:

    also, why does 00:00:241 (1) - have so many anchors? o.o
    here is an example of how you can place objects to have them connect better; I'm not saying that's how you should map, it's just an example
  2. 00:09:129 (7,8) - moving in opposite directions doesn't work here nicely. it gives a "contra"-feeling which doesn't match the song. (not only here, but throughout your diff)
  3. 00:13:574 (1,2,3,4,5) - alternate jump pattern:depending on which beats you want to emphasize you should use the jumps!
  4. 00:15:796 (6) - a single circle fits the music better, I think. replace?
    also the follow up is perfect for an anti-jump, cause the first beat is much more dominant than the second, try this, maybe-same here - 00:17:463 (9,10) -
  5. I don't particularly like the copypasted/morrored part after the kiai. the song's repetetive enough as it is, so consider placing the objects differently
  6. 02:29:407 (1) - to emphasize the sound better, consider this:

  1. you often have 4-5 circles, where you use jumps to emphasize them. to alternate the pattern, you can use this instead:

    here is an example of how you can place objects to have them connect better; I'm not saying that's how you should map, it's just an example
  2. 00:09:129 (7,8) - moving in opposite directions doesn't work here nicely. it gives a "contra"-feeling which doesn't match the song. (not only here, but throughout your diff)
  3. 00:13:574 (1,2,3,4,5) - alternate jump pattern:depending on which beats you want to emphasize you should use the jumps!OK
  4. 00:15:796 (6) - a single circle fits the music better, I think. replace? No! :v
    also the follow up is perfect for an anti-jump, cause the first beat is much more dominant than the second, try this, maybe-same here - 00:17:463 (9,10) -

  1. At first I need to emphasize that, in Easy and Normal diffs, mappers should enable the distance snap to ensure the DS between the notes are related with the space between notes in the timeline. So you need to check the AI mod to ensure your DS is consisitent.

    Structure:
  6. As for new mappers, it is better to use some slidershape from other maps. The shape you used in the long sliders in your map, such as: 00:03:574 (4) - and 00:25:241 (4) - etc, are to some extent not very beautiful and need. Also they are not flow-friendly, so it is better to improve the slider shapes.

  2. Open the .osu and find the line with the text "LetterboxInBreaks". Change the value of it from 1 to 0. Repeat this for all difficulties.
  3. Throughout Easy and Normal, the Distance Snap is constantly changing. Maybe it was intended, maybe it was due to error. Either way, please check your Distance Snap and fix those that do not feel right.
  4. Check your New Combos. Some of them do not match other parts of the song.

  1. General: Ctrl+1 before you start mapping / applying this mod~
  2. 00:06:906 (1,2,3) - In general I would personally avoid direct diagonal movement like so. Instead, try using a triangle pattern. An example is below.

I noticed during kiai, you keep switching from on beat and off beat sliders. The rhythm feels awkward because it doesn’t fit the music. I suggest revisiting kiai and getting rid of off beat sliders. Good luck with getting this ranked! thx, and I need more improve in SB

Short SB mod.

Please remove background from the storyboard, then only SB the background it in when it's shown to save load. You also don't need a black image then because if the background is removed from the storyboard then the default color is black.

Hey, a normal mod here (as requested from #modreqs)!

Easy
Open AI-mod (ctrl+shift+A) and tick the box to show distance warnings and you can see that there are a some distance spacing that should be fixed. The distance spacing should really be constant on an easy diff. For example: 00:37:463 (3,4) - this does not have a correct spacing. 00:38:574 (4) - this should moved to x:376 y:180.

01:52:463 (3,4) - This is bad for the flow to have on an easy diff. The slides goes in completely the opposite direction of the cursour's direction which should be avoided on an easy diff since new players might find this confusing.
01:18:018 (3,4) - Simmilar problem here...
02:25:796 (2) - ...and here.

00:09:129 (4) - This slider could be rotated so that the angle from 00:08:018 (3) - this into the slider aren't so large, making a better flow.
00:15:796 (1) - remove NC here, add NC 00:17:463 (2) - here and remove NC 00:18:018 (1) - here.
01:35:241 (7) - add NC here. This is nicer and more consistent since you have NC 01:11:352 (1) - here.

Again, Open AI-mod and fix the distance spacings. The distance spacing should be (somewhat) constant on a normal diff too. For example: 00:45:241 (2,3,4) - these are much closer to eachother than they should be.

00:02:462 (4) - Blanket this with 00:03:574 (5) - this slider better.
00:24:129 (4) - Blanket this with 00:25:241 (5) - this, so that it follows it nicely.
00:30:796 (5,6) - Make this overlap nicer. Make the straight part longer so that the bow of 00:31:907 (6) - this doesn't start under 00:30:796 (5) - this, but after instead.
00:37:463 (4) - Add NC here.
00:45:796 (4) - This slider should end 00:47:463 - here (not 00:47:393 - here). Fix!
01:02:463 (1) - I think i would be more fitting to the music if you shortend the slider to 01:02:741 - here and added another slider 01:03:018 - here.
01:17:463 (3) - Move this to x:268 y:164 (it has a sligt overlap with slider).
01:41:352 - Add a break here. You have it on the other diffs so why not have one on the normal diff?
02:20:796 (4) - Add NC here.
02:25:241 (9) - Make this slider less curved (so that i looks more blanketed to 02:24:685 (8) - this).

Extra suggetion:
02:05:796 (2,3,4,5) - Use a pattern like this instead (replacing the slider with two hitcircles is optional, but i think it's nicer with only hitcircles).

I think a CS of 5 is a bit to high here (especially since you have 3 on the easy diff and 3,5 on the normal diff). Lower it to like 4 (or atleast between 4 and 4,5).

00:48:574 (1) - Maybe stack this onto 00:49:129 (2) - this instead?

00:35:796 (2,3) - Doesn't flow well here. Try using a pattern you used here 00:21:907 (1,2) -
00:43:574 (1) - Take out repeat and make the slider longer? The repeat isn't mapped to anything so it plays a bit weird imo.
00:45:796 (4) - Peaceful song, I don't know if a zigzag slider fits imo, Have you tried looping sliders? also you could make the slider shorter and add a circle/slider on 00:47:463 - .
00:53:018 (8,9,10) - This is misleading. Same distance-snap, but theres only a 1/2 beat between 9 and 10.
