Hiya,
I'm going to warn you right now that this is my first real review of a beatmap, and I'm not very good at osu since I just started. But I've played musical instruments all my life, so hopefully that makes up for it. Sorry if this review is complete bull, but I'm gonna try. *gamefaceon
EASY:
00:17:180 (1) - I think you accidentally started a new combo here because this combo only has one slider. I suggest that you make it a part of the following combo; it will make sense with the musical phrasing of the song.
00:23:667 (1) - Same as above.
00:47:991 (9) - The transition from 9 to 1 looks confusing because its tempts people to click on the end point of a slider instead of the beginning. I'm sure this is acceptable in harder maps, but I think it would trip up a novice. (I know it did for me. (shh))
03:04:207 (1,2) - I think these two sliders should be a part of the combo before it, just makes more sense with the musical phrasing.
03:31:775 (1,1) - These sliders should be a part of the following combo, but I think I understand what you were trying to do here; emphasize these notes with a new combo. Maybe instead you could use the whistle on these sliders if you want them to stand out.
03:39:883 (1) - The overlapping here looks confusing... when I was playing through I wasn't sure if I should go for the spinner or the slider first. Personally I would take out the spinner, but I'm sure moving the slider to a different area would work too.
Overall:
I think the song is nicely made and playable for someone as noob as I am. I didn't notice the combo coloring mistakes while playing through, so if you kept those in it wouldn't make the map unplayable. (I'm just nit-picky with musical phrasing. o.o) I think if you just fix the spinner at the end and 00:47:991 (9) it's ready to go.
I had fun reviewing, and I hope you will find this useful. Good luck on getting your map ranked.
