[General]
- Your metadata for maps aren't consistent. You only have a preview time for Dandy's Normal. All of the other maps have a preview time at -1. You need to make sure all the metadata for the songs are the same. Set the same preview time for the other 3 difficulties.
- At first i thought you were doing collab 'cause typically "Person's Difficulty" format is used for guest beatmappers. Naming the difficulties after the main characters is fine, but them QT's Hard can be confusing. But if you don't indicate its Hard, then people will have no idea what QT means...so i dunno, do you have any other naming schemes?
- Your mp3 file is 320kbps. Osu only allows mp3 files that are 128 to 192 kbps bitrate. You need to compress it
- Your video dimensions also do not fit the size. I have very little storyboarding experience, you will have to go to #modhelp or General Questions under the forums to figure out how to fix this.
- Basically, all this is found by AI Mod. Check this for every difficult before you upload/update ever. You can access AI Mod by pressing Ctrl + Shift + A.
- Your BPM is 127.980. It should be 128.000 BPM. Slow your song down to 25%, and 50% to check the timing. Match the metronome exactly with the base beat. After you change your BPM to 128, make sure to resnap all your objects to the new timing. Additionally, usually when you time, you round to the next full BPM when your BPM is within .100 BPM from a full BPM.

AR is 5. Easy difficulty should have an AR of 2~4 typically. Please consider lowering it a notch.
00:07:013 (1) - Red ticks are heavily frowned upon on Easy difficulty. Stick to white ticks and you're solid. Go through your entire Easy diff. You will have to remap a lot of it unfortunately 'cause you use red ticks a lot throughout the song.
00:08:185 (3) - New combo. This is the first downbeat of the first measure of the chorus. Remember, use combos to signify measures and stanzas in the song, not the pattern.
00:23:188 (1) - Double reverse-sliders have to go in Easy difficulty. You have to change all of these in this diff.
00:48:270 (3) - ^^
01:08:664 (2 ) - Blanket slider around Slider 1's radius indicators. Like this:

You use SV multipliers in Normal mode. That is unrankable. Its the same ideas changing your DS for a Easy diff---unrankable.

00:01:387 (2, 3) - Make perfect triangle using Beats 1, 2, 3.

00:06:310 (4) - DS wrong. Too close to Slider 3's end. You should turn on Distance Snap and check all of the following values using AI Mod

00:14:749 (1) - Definitely no! DS must be consistent in Normal difficulty. Using a new combo doesn't justify messing up the DS, because a player is spatially intuitive about when to hit the note, color doesn't mean anything to a player.
00:18:968 (3) - Blanket and its also offmap.
00:22:016 (1) - No! It ends on a blue tick? This isn't part of the song. Place on the red tick before it.
00:25:766 (3) - Blanket off Slider 1.
00:38:190 (1, 2) - Absolutely not. These two sliders are reversing on an EMPTY beat. You are mapping on a non-existent beat which is very bad for intuitive natural playing. Don't make up what you can't hear. Think of Osu as an extension of song. You are ONLY adding instrumental effects on the beats already there, not remixing the song...
00:49:207 (3, 4) - Gotta bracket these two sliders.
00:56:943 (1, 2) - Again, NO! Nothing in song to warrant these blue tick reverses. Don't beatmap on the blue tick if you are just starting. A good rule is to beatmap what you can play. Go to test mode and try these...if you trip up on any of these patterns, than it means its not intuitive enough. Because you ARE the mapper so you ALREADY know what it should, yet you still make a mistake because you mapped yourself into a trap that you couldn't even avoid.
01:05:616 (4, 5, 6) - Symmetry with 1, 2, 3? Why is it a whole notch above?
01:19:681 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) - Even if the asymmetry is intentional, make sure the angle of the triplet-circles are the same. 4, 5, 6 should be Ctrl + H of 1, 2, 3.

[Dandy's (ab)Normal]
Okay, so the Star Difference of the 2 Normal difficulties are 2.45 and 2.49. This is virtually no difference. It doesn't warrant another Difficulty. Keep only one of the two.

[Insane]
OD should be 6~7 for Hard difficulty. Increase by a notch.
Your hitsounds a quite random and inhibit the song more than it enhances it. In fact, i think its so messy, you will need to go thru your map and clear it out and re-hitsound.

(Also, i see you added some custom hitsounds in your Song folder. In order to access them, you have to switch your timing point's Audio to Custom 1...or whatever Custom number you set your .wav files to. LIke this)

I was really afraid of even touching the timing. But it seems it works. Done.

Well, there are ranked maps that use red ticks. Guren no yumiya for example. I changed some of the ticks but there are passages that either feel better using red ticks or others where the beat has to be placed on the red tick.

DS and SV for easy is now fixed. However ther are ranked normal maps that make full use of SV multipliers. Admittedly, there's not a lot of them but still. I'll keep it as it is for now. I'll consider it if every modder screams at me to change it.

-Most of these were done intentionally because it felt more natural for me. DS hasn't been very good to me. Probably because of my inexperience but, sometimes it's more hindering than helpful.     Well, this was the first beatmap I've ever done so it's natural it will have the most problems. And what does 1/4 mean? Anyway, I changed a few things so now most of the blue ticks are gone. Except one :P .

Just give 'スペースダンディ' or if romanized, Space Dandy
' ビバナミダ' or Viva Namida is same as the title, so remove it and just leave 'スペースダンディ' as the source

I don't know I must be doing something wrong but the timing of the mp3 is off when I add it(I just put it directlly into the beatmap folder). I tried to cut a bit off the beginning in audacity but it doesn't work for some reason.

When I try to change the naming of the difficulties it prompts me to upload it as a completely new beatmap so I'm not sure what to do. Will it overwrite the current beatmap or will I have two pending mapsets that are completely the same?

  1. 00:10:996 (1) - Don't put this kind of sliders in Easy (too hard for beginners).
  2. Try to not use many 1/2 notes in an Easy. Makes more hard the things for beginners. A clear example is the slider above and 00:12:871 (4,5) However, combos like 00:18:496 (1,2) are fine, because they are easy to read. Another hard to read combo is 00:39:590 (2,3,4) Use your criteria here to make Easy easier.
  3. 00:31:152 (3) - You should turn this into a curve. Seems nicer and it's easier to follow.
  4. 00:55:996 (3,4,1) - Same thing as first suggestions. Change this slider and the following notes.
[Normal]

  1. Check AiMod for Distance Snap issues.
  2. 00:18:966 (3) - Don't stack this under (1). Makes it hard to read. Move it and redo some things to avoid Distance Snap issues.
  3. 00:36:778 (1,3) - Make those less curvy for a nicer appearance.
  4. 01:03:497 (2) - Delete a reverse in this slider and add a circle to make combo clearer.
  5. 01:14:981 (2) - Make less curvy.

The only thing I can say is to check AiMod to solve Dist. Snap issues in Normal+.

The only thing I can say is to check AiMod to solve Dist. Snap issues in Normal+.Well, the problem is that it all seems ok to me. I replayed it so many times that I can SS it no problem so I'm too used to it and cannot see the mistakes anymore. :(
