At first glance, I was like
"Oh no, not another SAO"
after I watched the first episode

I'm upset because the genderbend Kirito looks retarded. (Not like his character design was ever good anyway) I'm hoping there is at least a reason for why he is a girl.
Death Gun looks like a sith lord. So we are now watching star wars the anime.

Well, SAO I started interesting and got worse and worse.
SAO II chose another way, it just thought that it should start crappy in the beginning.
And his character in game is male, it just looks really feminine. You could see his character at the end of the first episode in the opening/ending.

I hope it just doesn't a piece of EVERY SINGLE anime genre again *heh*
but even in the first season they had like 1/8 romance, 1/8 Action and so on...
also I would've thought that Kirito would have even the slightest worry about going in a somewhat of a death game again...

I've read the books, so biased.
I didn't think anything can be seen from this ep. The anime lives from its action scenes, we didn't see any (except in the ed) so no real opinion as of yet.

Made me smile seeing Kirito and Asuna as couple again, GUNS 5/5
