I just lost 5pp points for no reason, I thought losing rank was normal but why this sudden pp removal

I couldn't tell you for sure, but maybe this happened :
You beat a map you already had a score on, but with lower accuracy. Your new score prevailed, and since pp are mainly based off of accuracy if I'm not mistaken, your new score was worth less pp. Given your rank, losing 5 pp on a single map seems reasonable.

I think this should have been posted in the Gameplay & Rankings subforum though.

Probably that would explain it if I made a new score with worse accuracy with Hidden mod but that isn't the issue I guess. My PP record I did yesterday is still intact and the rank decrease happened when I was idle today.

Yes, my bad. Not sure if peppy modified something in the performance rankings or some gameplay issue.

Higher accuracy gives more pp
so if you have Non-FC 99% it would give 50
a FC (higher score) with 95% it would give 40 or something like that
PatZar
Go FC so system will up rate your PP
if to many missed, pp will down
if FC with Mods or not, its will up
it's depends with your accurate

I still don't know about this
but, the focus of this topic is, Accurate
Go play better then before

Accuracy is WAY more important than FC (Especially in Taiko)
I once got a FC 90% for 120
Then I got a non-FC 97% for 170, too bad I got a higher FC score now, which is my current high-score for 150 orso >.<
Accuracy is the most important, and DT also gives MANY pp
Hidden actually gives not much more >.<
Seijiro
I think this could be marked as solved, since there's a recalculation for pp assignment

Yes, this happens when you get higher score but lower rank on the same song!
