If the sliders are short enough, you just need to aim for the numbers because they pretty much play themselves, so this is ultimately just an issue of being able to read and recognize the sliders fast enough to figure out what to do with them. If you only have issues with them when they come in-between streams, the bigger issue you're probably having is with reading the streams well enough to be able to move your eyes to the sliders before it's too late. If so, it might also help to play maps with "stream jumps". Maps that come to mind immediately are Shuffle Heaven [Extra], Mephisto [Extra], and F.I [Platinum] (Philippines' version). Also that louis cyphre classical insanity diff. Can't think of any more off the top of my head.
