i like the current utilitarian login interface though. maybe its because im old fashioned when it comes to computers but it gives a certain flair to the whole login/logout process and having it look different from the other menus- even seemingly detached from the application itself- makes it seem more 'significant', 'official', 'important', or what have you.
But anyway, this is still not a bad idea.
